So just the prospectus to go and Purebond will be injecting Β£4.6m at 65% premium to current price. Seems a bit of a no brainer.
Prospectus is with the FCA and should be cleared any day now.
Surely this is tongue in cheek representation of the KAV opportunity in Botswana. Kalahari Copper Belt is emerging as a world class copper mining jurisdiction (being developed by Khoemacau and Sandfire projects). But they have explored and found and issued resources and then reserves - KAV has yet to issue meaningful numbers so to my mind, you cannot claim your exploration licences and projects are 'world class'. Just yet anyways but here is hoping !
My previous reference to World Class statements came directly from the twitter - x.com/KavangoRes and x.com/ben_turney own accounts, surprised you haven't seen them JP2000, many other posters seem to have.
Here is another example.

There are lots more "World ClassΒ£ quotes, surprised you haven't found them both from Ben and Kavango Resources.
This is clearly not mis-information but facts from the CEO and Kavango Resources twitter feeds. Maybe you'd benefit from a bit more research instead of potentially libelling other posters in my opinion.
If you don't like the statements then you need to take it up with Ben and Kav as its also in their rns's etc.
Thanks Castiron. Decent amount of real estate under licence then.
I see KAV issued interims today. What is confusing me is they seem to be bouncing around from exploration target to exploration target in Botswana, having said previously the results were encouraging. And i interpreted today's words re Botswana as saying more exploration $$$ would need to be spent. And on top of that, there is this apparent pivot to gold in Zimbabwe, where I doubt they can progress any project quickly (ie will need cash flow).
This company is still sending me very confusing messages. But the Kalahari Copper Belt is getting a lot of attention.
You might find this of interest B-J β¦β¦..not cross ramping

ARC Minerals but they haven't really got boots on the ground yet from an exploration perspective.
Kalahari Copper Belt projects in Botswana I am aware of are: Khoemacau (in production), Sandfire (under construction), Premium Nickel Resources (private comapny bring BCL mines back into production), and then exploration companies such as Kavango, Cobre and ENRG Elements.
Does anyone reading here know of any other companies, listed or private, with exposure to copper in Botswana ? It is good to know who has boots on the ground and spending $$$ to progress projects.
Those following here will presumably know Khoemacau is up for sale and 6 potential suitors named in local press - Citic Pacific, MMG, Exxaro, Endeavour Mining, Impala Platinum and Zijin Mining. Ok so this is an operational mine that the Owners have commissioned and brought into production - but they want to offload now rather than keep operating for themselves. There is a strong possibility that means there is a heavy financial commitment ahead to keep developing the mine/project, and is something they dont fancy.
What I am wondering though is - could this large corporate action being weighing heavily on Kavango and other copper explorers in Botswana (Cobra for one; Sandfire are actually building out their Motheo project now; some other smaller exploration plays).
Anyone close enough to what goes on in Botswana and has a view on this ??
Yes, all reassuring to hear, apart from the timescale bit, as KAV do need to get cracking on the ground in Zim. But providing its a straightforward process, hopefully the FCA will turn it around without too much delay. Main thing is the financing is still on at 1p. That's almost 100% from these levels. Market asleep to this so far, but maybe it needs RNS confirmation to wake it up? All imo and dyor
Ben has messaged the Telegram group
"Kanye Resources Plc (registered in England) was a vehicle we set up for the joint venture with POW
We no longer need it, so we've struck it off
Kanye Resources Pty is registered in Botswana. This is the vehicle that owns the majority of the KCB licences and has been wholly owned by Kavango Resources Plc, since we completed the buyout of POW from the JV
This is all just corporate housekeeping to make things more efficient
The Purebond deal is still going ahead on the same terms and the prospectus is currently being reviewed by the FCA
I cabn't give any guidance on timing. This regulatory process is out of our hands"
To be fair JP2000, this poster is just counteracting your untrue assertion earlier that:
"Nobody, not even BT has mentioned drilling for world class resources."
They've done that by just using cold, hard facts, quotes from the horses mouth.
Over the years there have been supporters /rampers and detractors/downies posting here. Normal.
However, with that why not just admit you were wrong and let's move on watching KAV slide down even further.
IMHO, DYOR, GLTAH (but still not good enough for me to climb in again)
"They couldda been a contender"
In the last 12 months you've only posted about KAV & all negative and then surprise surprise the same characters also pop up to recommend your post.
Are you a genuine KAV holder or taking advantage of LSE's poor moderation to spread misinformation?
A few Twitter World Class comments, there are others.

#KAVβs goal is to become #Botswanaβs leading minerals exploration company
When I became CEO, I said we would build a world class business. Our team has embraced this philosophy & weβve taken huge steps in that direction over the last year

All credit to the brains behind this operation. The team weβve put together is genuinely inspirational
The work Iβve seen today is first class
I love days like this, when all the hard graft culminates beautifully
#KAV has real potential to make multiple world class discoveries
What is the link between Kanye and Kavango?
Buyer beware
"has their expert knowledge yet translated into world class geology discoveries? "
Has there ever been a commercial discovery without drilling and assay results because as far as I'm aware KAV haven't drilled any of the current targets.
Nobody, not even BT has mentioned drilling for world class resources.

So i am still trying to convince myself on Kavango. My latest intrigue - Botswana exploration was lead by David Catterall, one of the region's most experienced exploration geologists. And Zimbabwe exploration being led by Steve Smith, the foremost geologist of Matabeleland. Both guys are the geological experts - so we cannot fault Kavango for getting experts on board.
But has their expert knowledge yet translated into world class geology discoveries? We continue to have lots of promise in the leases they explore BUT when do they strike it BIG. That appears to be missing on their glittering CVs .....
My cynical nature is obvious from thi. . But equally, I have liked the look of Kavango potential for quite some time - but I need a signal to make the big leap on this one.
Some large buys coming in and taking the last of the liquidity below 0.6p. BT still tweeting away. News canβt be more than weeks away now? They have exploration to get on with at Zim as well before moving on to Karakubis in Q1. Exciting times? All imo and dyor
1 billion shares in issue hurts the look for potential multi-bag opportunity. So many Botswana exploration projects sound outstandingly good on paper but then are unable to get into Development phase quickly, avoiding cash burn outflows for more years that anticipated.
Yes, provided the raise goes through - and there is no reason to think it won't - then these levels are a steal for a soon to be cashed up company, focussing on what they consider is almost guaranteed low hanging gold in Zim, and then their best prospect in the KCB. That simply HAS to be an upside scenario from here? All imo and dyor
Bought 1m shares yesterday.
0.6/0.65 seems a good level to ave. down before the prospectus in a few weeks and the realisation that KAV will have Β£5.5-6m cash in the bank and at a serious premium to the price I can buy at today.
That much cash and with Peter on the board and funds available if required away from the capital markets all bodes well for a rise. Last capital raise was 2times higher than todays price.
Will continue to add over the coming weeks before the RNS news flow from Zim and PureBond.
JP, LSE is a discussion platform. That means positive and negative posts; not always exclusively positive posts. Otherwise there is never any balance in the Share Chat. If MeatLoafer has another agenda, I think we should all be capable enough to spot that.
For my part, the Kalahari Copper Belt has got a plethora of reviews about how prospective the area is and companies like Kavango were amongst the first movers to try prove resources/ reserves. Just because their licences are located close to Sandfire and Khoemacau doesn't guarantee similar results. But then, if they did, that would set KAV alight for sure.
But back to the geologist who was making all the claims a few years back - where is he? What is he saying now? I am a whole less excited to listen to new management try talking things up. Tie up the loose ends first please.
Are you a genuine investor in KAV, seems odd 3 posts & all negative.
