Anyone know if the company's 172m - 174m pre ebitda fits in with digital look's prediction of 134m profit for the year
if there is a merger I hope the company gets dual listed. as for a take over, who ever wants to take over Just eat will have to stump up a lot of cash.
If there's a merger I think it might be with someone less known on these shores and more of a footprint across EU / U.S.
On a side note, how much of an impact does re-joining the FTSE100 have? I suspect that a lot of the last 2 days rise might be on the back of that, as pensions/trackers/etfs etc. will have to immediately bring the stock in to their portfolio?
So do you think there will be a merger with Deliveroo or maybe a takeover by Deliveroo?
i would rather them merge and start paying dividends
No probs. I'm not waiting for 1100p as some brokers predict, I think that will only come with a takeover so somewhere between 800p-900p will do then hopefully onto another share.
my apologies. i am frustrated how under valued this share is
How's that!! I only entitled my previous posts as `DOWN' to continue your thread. I concur with you that we should be heading for £8. Nice to hear from someone else on what is a quiet board compared to most other companies
not sure why your saying the sp is down??? sells massively outweighed buys but yet the sp is up. like i said i think the sp will continue up towards £8 then the results will tip it over £8 going by previous forcast earnings
Someone's been listening...……..740s now. A lot of sells today
as with all results in every company. i think this will rise upto the results. hoping anyway
Here we are again in the 730s, I wish it would break the mould and go 740/750 instead of retreating back down as it has been. Results next Wednesday should be good but then there's all the comment that goes with it which may determine SP up or down
as the price goes down i top up more
going by last update i think the full year update will show they have hit or even exceeded there profit target which I'm sure the city will like. as for the future I'm sure they will still making profit. growing market, expanding company, new ventures ect ect. but obviously things can change like any company. but for now I'm upbeat with Just Eat
i still use them.. you see the deals that you would only see if you search through them individually which when your in a hurry for a take away isn't possible when you got hungry mouths to feed... and I'm not a fussy eater so i would eat from any of them.. not planning to switch to uber eats or deliveroo if i am happy with the just eat app and in any case those to mentioned companies will get the same stick in time
Cat Rock Capital, a US investment firm which owns around 2 per cent of Just Eat, has published the transcript of a call it held with analysts discussing Just Eat's fortunes. Cat Rock's founder and managing partner Alex Captain said the 'management situation at Just Eat [was] worse than we had previously expected'. He slammed the food delivery company for failing to contact candidates his firm proposed as chief executive. - The Daily Mail
Is this all off the back of closing down 0* restaurants and Ubereats cutting delivery costs? Seems like an overreaction to that but can't find any other news or analysis which would precipitate a near 6% drop by 10am!?
Hopefully this merger advise will be actioned as this share needs a kick up the behind.... Totally undervalued imho
OK as the newbee here I can now see why nobody replied to my question a week ago. This SP is all over the place!! After the fall maybe it is settling into a trading range prior to the next update, we'll see then trade off it.
Nice rise last coupe of days, anyone any thoughts where this is going
Broker upgrade that's not come through the system yet or something more happening here?
My view is that this share is undervalued, and I can see daytraders range-trading this between its current price and about £6.10. I would like to see this cannon back up but with the Brexit vote looming amongst the China-US trade fog it makes it even harder to predict. Of course, if we could all predict...
