Just about every Just Eat outlet is also signed up to Hungry House in my area. Competition fierce in this space. JE is overvalued IMHO at the moment.
Biffa, Ignore that last question, I should have gone to specsavers. I just found their holdings before and after on the LSE website. http://www.londonstockexchange.com/exchange/news/market-news/market-news-detail/JE./12725258.html
Biffa, Not disagreeing with you. But how do you know that's the CEO and CFO's entire holdings that they sold on the 4th?
now where is it going from here. Predictions please
biffa, thanks, watching this to see what happens
I went short after one of the seed capital boys cashed out £100M. Closed it to early and have been in and out ever since. Initially it was down to that, the PE being close to 100, crap profits etc. The £100m purchase of a few mexican takeaways that will add £4M to profits 2 years out was another classic. I live near Exeter and have done my own limited research. If i want a two for one curry at £9 Just Eat is your man. Lots have signed up but few will sign again, and there are only a few left to go for. Anyone decent has just gone live with Deliveroo. This is not a Rightmove. My view is this company is not worth anywhere near it's market cap and the higher the SP goes the better the short. Good luck.
biffa, do you have a short , what price and when did you short it ?
Ummm....looks like that says it all.
Deutsche might be buying but the CEO and FD have just dumped almost their entire holdings. On a PE of 100 and no barriers to entry this is one of the best shorts in the market.
Pulling well clear of the 50day MA now....this is a good thing and suggests the setting in of a strong upward price trend with plenty of room for subsequent gains. DYOR.
Well well well....price drops the last few days and lo and behold....Deutsche Bank buy 8.7m shares
Look like a good set of results. No div announced so more money into growing company...
Molotavkid: yup those are a very good set of results. Im happy to hold onto this for a while
i thought it was a strong set of results personally. Bought a few this morning.
I jumped back into Je. again yesterday although I didn't get the greatest of prices. Based on today's results i'm confident i'll get the sp I have in my mind within the next 3-6 months. I just wish i'd jumped on board a few weeks back when this was as low as 330.
Look like quite decent results today - http://www.sharetrading.news/2016/03/01/just-eat-plc-sees-revenue-rise-58-2015/ What are peoples thoughts, share price has took a bashing of late.
JE announce their Full Year results on Tuesday. How are we to fare!? http://www.just-eat.com/financial-calendar/
for those who haven't seen yet, acquired more online takeaway businesses - http://www.risersandfallers.com/2016/02/05/just-eat-announces-acquisition-of-online-food-takeaway-businesses/
I agree, the advertising is very visible. When I speak to the the youngsters round the pub, they view this style of marketing in the same way as I would have picked up a printed takeaway menu. Looks like the future to me! Been watching for a while now and keen to buy in long term, but waiting for a bit of stability in the wider market.
dropping for a while now think it will turn again lots of JE signs in our take aways
This has to be one of the greatest shorts trading at this PE of 43 ish. Assign a generous PE of 20 and this should be trading in the 200p territory. Bear market will see to that soon enough.
A lot of movement today. 480p to 440p, then back up to 465p? Looks like a tree shake to me?
Excellent trading update. Management working hard. Everywhere I look I see JUST EAT signs. BUY BUY BUY
Meh Questor has been down on JE from the start, said it was too expensive at 220p and now look it what it has returned for investors, when it gets keeps going up into next year (DYOR) they will still be down on it, remember JE is cash generative, true some one of the VC's sold a third yesterday but they still have kept two thirds in ! I wouldn't expect Times readers to be clued up on tech stocks
Inside the City: Just Eat was tasty, but the feast is over Simon Duke Its shares have risen 60% from the 260p listing price Published: 15 November 2015 http://www.thesundaytimes.co.uk/sto/business/article1632747.ece
