Thanks Si/Stokey just wondered as it is a hell of a lot of steel required and with Saipem supplying that part of the contract be good to see a huge pile of steel.
On a separate note stokey for some reason from my 11.02 post re Allan Ralston is now not included in webinar hope someone read it as he was definitely down to take part
oldtramp ref 17.25 post On checking the arrivals at Methil port I noticed in July there were two cargo ships that berthed in the port. I am not sure if anyone knows if anybody else would be using the Port at Methil to bring cargo in.
Evening, OT. Do recal mention of a steel delivery for the Sapiem contract being delivered a while ago. Seem to remember something about it may have been for pre contract work though. Will have a look back and check.
Evening gents with all your knowledge of ship movements have any of you found a ship that is likely to be dropping off the steel for Saipem contract ?
Did find this on its way to Methil on 1st August

Or is the steel coming from other sources and transportation ?
I think you will find it is the Ro Ro Cargo Ship:

Hi Stokey12 - it might be this RoRo vessel en route to Belfast IMO 9119414, MMSI 235096892, appears on a google search
The Belfast Harbour website has been updated to show that a vessel called the Arrow is due into the BBD at 08.40 tomorrow and is scheduled to leave at 12.00 on the 29 July. It looks like a emergency docking . A dross check with Vesselfinder.com shows a number of ships with the name Arrow so I cannot determine what type of vessel it is.
