My going to add, so I hold the same percentage. Solid state batteries are the only way I would even think about getting an EV, once the tech is proven (electrician by trade).
Not much of a discount, and with the share price going down to meet it, they may struggle to get enough takers. If you can get shares on the open market for the same price (OK you say stamp duty - is there any on Ilika? - and dealing costs) it hardly seems worth it.
Not unexpected, had a note on my research, I will be participating, in the hope the capital is use correctly.

I’ve been watching this for a longtime, but had a note to wait until late 2024. Today I decided to take a small position today so it’s up and front in my portfolio. As an electrician by trade, I wouldn’t personally have an EV with the current battery technology but solid state would make me think again.
