The tone here is very bad. Clearly the commission is taking absolutely no notice of the evidence coming in from all over the planet about people's level of symptoms with omicron. It's like they think the world population hasn't noticed and they can peddle the same hysterical crap as before. It is blindingly obvious now that the arrival of the variant is being used to reimpose social coercion. Some are reluctant to get involved but with rhetoric now coming out of Europe, it is very problematic to see them all so much out of sync with the real world.
We've seen trouble 't mill already. I think this time round something big is going to snap. Social media is very alive apparently with a backlash building that will spill into the real world.
Champagne socialists. Whining on about paying extra tax on overtime, because they are already milking the public sector for 40k per annum in their funds.
Let’s face facts, the longer this goes on, the more money the NHs is. SAGE are blatantly worried their biggest budget cash cow, frail pensioners, could all get wiped out.
Their little gravy train then stops doesn’t it? The more frail people you keep ticking over, the more occupied beds and the more groaning on about NHS budgets we all have to endure.
It’s time we had a public vote on Euthanasia too.
Yeah people should realise there's a political bias that runs through certain fields and healthcare along with education is like a marxist hotbed. There always seems to this underlying tone of authoritarian ignorance.
How dare you not comply you fascist lol.
SAGE are a bunch of C@nts. If we had ditched their bedwettery, we would have been out of this permanent lockdown mania by March this year.
Share price hasn't reacted to that yet, if it's common knowledge jtan. Seems pretty sturdy at the moment.
Covid isn’t dangerous to 95% of the population.
The media and the scientologists in SPI-B SAGE have a lot to answer for.
Could be just a 'march up' for a 'march down' as you say BUT the market as a whole looks pretty good today so we may (and I say MAY) hold up today.

Any finish above 130 would show great stability. Then again one bad comment from Biden and we will be back down
It does though look a bit like marching it to the top of the hill in the morning, for it to be marched down again in the afternoon. IAG needs to be around 160 to be able to say previous trajectory has been restored, so sector overall is still looking for a 20% recovery to return to previous. Given the stubborn foot stamping going on insisting that weeks are needed to evaluate the omicron I suspect pis are being plied again and the ever efficient transfer of money from pis to iis is being exorcised again.
Wow, reaction on "I'm out", fact is that airlines are still flying and that Omicron is an achy flu..... I wish I had dry powder now instead of spending earlier. Such a great opportunity to buy....
Thanks for the link.
Booked to go to the states on Christmas Day (with BA). Will be cancelling if they introduce any form of isolation for sure.
The gamble is, you book the ticket and then enter the lottery to see if you test positive and therefore have your travel plans smashed. So there will be a deterrent, exactly as before and we all saw how that was used to very deliberately sabotage travel.
I am a bit suspicious about how this variant has been seized as a way to reintroduce travel restrictions. There is something a bit contrived about it especially as all the evidence coming in is that this is just another flu. I've always been suspicious about the environmental lobby and their reach in media, government and quangos to take advantage and exercise sabotage of an industry they irrationally see as a very bad thing.
Something fishy about all this, and this time round the plebs seem to be on to it. The number of people I know who would once have argued better safe than sorry with the climate change claims now think it is one big sell and so over the top it is starting to look like a fraud.
Biden said no immediate restrictions yesterday
Codswallop
With Biden announcing restrictions tomorrow which will make travel to the US less attractive, I can see people cancelling trips as I will do. The US is a money spinner for BA but the SP is likely to be impacted
