Oh right yes.. forgot to mention.
*500b barrels of water in Lancaster
*300b barrels of water in Lincoln
Roof still on?
Careful slift, with that kind of talk you might blow the roof off!!
Well DavHaz, "positivity" doesn't make SP go up.
But yes, let's be positive, there's 500b barrels in Lancaster@!@!
and another 300b more in Lincoln!@!
Woop woop!
Slift, you are worse than acid reflux.
The moment you show up I know the short/deramp crew are truly desperate!
"HUR was at the bottom after they said it could be worth nothing."
"Bottom"?
I see this company as overvalued at current share price if FWP doesn't add 15m+ reserves AND if funding isn't secured.
The current SP reflects the "hope". But in reality, there's going to be a dilution and only those who fund the FWP will benefit from HURs assets. But who knows! HUR might give PI's a chance to fund part of it too!
P.S. The only "bottom" here is Dickbat. Hahaha
Ricardo2019, Groundhog's agenda is that we (the shareholders) don't deserve your negativity. Quite obvious really!
HUR was at the bottom after they said it could be worth nothing. Where do you go from there? We know now with the PoO that pessimism has to start clearing with a big wad of cash that's appearing.
There comes a point when you can only really blame yourself for big losses, I've been there. Its tough, but I held TLW from over 1000p and only stating to see profit now after averaging down a lot.
@GroundHogDay1 - "bring only a very negative view point 24/7". This is demonstrably incorrect, as proved by my post history. I don't expect you to be that familiar with it, but if you look back I very recently bought at 2.5p (I stated it on the day of purchase) after a period weighing up the risks and I was very open why I did that - in expectation of a positive share price increase from a bargain basement level so I could reduce my losses and maybe breakeven this year. That's a very positive action, indeed much more valuable than words.
In addition, if you read my posts thoroughly you will see that I raise only those issues that we already know as fact as relayed by the BoD. That's realism, not negativity.
I don't make BS up, I don't pretend there's a 10.5p offer on the table today, etc, etc. If anything, given my large losses from 45p downwards I should be far nore negative. The BoD deserve it!
So, given your total misrepresentation of my position, I feel it's only fair to ask what is your agenda by bashing me?
DavHaz - You don't have to believe me. You just have to believe in yourself. Your views and concerns are for yourself.
If you don't like my shoes, it your problem. Not mine.
Filter out who you don't want to listen to...
davhaz- people have different reasons forcoming on the board - info/venting/trying to influence the price etc. in reality i doubt what any of the posters on here write has any influence on the SP - so all the anger at ramp/deramp is really wasted.
i have been in this share a long time - am currently out but hope to get back in if/when i feel the time/price is right and there is a definite future. i dont feel that is the position currently but will still read and absorb and react to posts on here.
one could say if you have true faith in your shares then there is no need to get wound up by what others say. thats how i felt about hur - all last year even though the price tanked again and again
Please do comment on the specific oil price thread I created. It will be interesting to discuss.
Ricardo to some extent I agree
I find informative posts the most interesting
I find positive posts encouraging
I find negative posts malevolent and usually from someone not sharing the values of the shareholders.
Do you understand fundamentals? Oil price goes up, Oil company price goes up.
Nothing else has changed (whatever scare tactics anyone on here is using). There has been no other news since last RNS.
> It makes no sense to be negative about something you own and wish to see go up in value!!!!
My recent answer in another thread will help you here. But to add, the world isn't as binary as you make out. I'm here to have sensible conversations with people who I might learn from. I find the relentless ramping rather valueless but there are actually people here who have balanced and interesting viewpoints so my time here is often worthwhile.
Thanks daltry, I dont really believe you. It makes no sense why you would spread such doubt unless you were really bitter and didn't want others to succeed. I suppose I have met people with that attitude but very few were really successful.
Ricardo, please! Take a look at yourself. Please don't preach about the pointlessness of being here because why are you here?
I will repeat the logic of being on this board for you. You either have the share and want it to do well and or positive about it, or you have other nefarious reasons such as being a shorter. It makes no sense to be negative about something you own and wish to see go up in value!!!!
If you are having doubts, use the board to ask questions about the company and gather information. I would love to be gone from here at 4.30pm having sold at a good profit thanks very much! What's the point in using the board to vent frustration if you own the share? Clearly investing isn't for you if that's the case.
Please don't be sorry for me thanks. I'm a grown boy. In the 70's, I was US commodity and stockbroker for 7 years with Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith. Worked in London, NY , HK...... I know the 'game'.
This BoD have perpetually issued RNS's that have always resulted in a drop in the SP.
I wouldn't bet on the next being any different.
Going out now for my constitutional...
The average price of oil in 2019 was $35. It is now $67. If costs remain the same a large chunk of that increase should hit the bottom line. Very simplistic arithmetic, I know, but perhaps that's why.
Btw on this simple basis gross profit quadruples.
> I think in your position I wouldn't "Do a Ratner" though and try to be positive as that seems to be the most effective strategy however frustrated you may be.
It's laughable that people think posts on this board influence the SP. Do you understand business fundamentals? The Ratner exec was in a position of influence. You aren't, Daltry isn't, I'm not.
Look at the rampy crew in this thread. Brigading any dissenting opinion as if they have credibility. It's so obvious. Oh well, you'll be gone after 4.30PM!
I'm sorry to hear that Daltry, but you do have to agree that given the price of oil and where it's headed and the kitchen sinking this share has got real potential from where it is!
I think in your position I wouldn't "Do a Ratner" though and try to be positive as that seems to be the most effective strategy however frustrated you may be.
Happy to oblige. I am here, and have been in this share since 2005. I own over 300,000 shares at around 45p. I have mentally written off the unrealised loss. I just watch it, and my many other LSE holdings with retired interest. I have time.
I don't REALLY blame you or your sidekick. I blame the appalling management of Hur. I know stuff I could never print for litigious reasons. There you have it. I am locked in, so to speak. Nothing on this BB has ever achieved anything, or ever will. Millions of posts. It is just a sounding board for frustrations. I am guilty.
I meant answer not ask doh. Come on Dulltry gives us all a good laugh - why are you here?
Yeah strange that he probably owns the share too and thinks it will go up to because oil is going up. You never did ask the question why you are here?
My reasons for being here are clear; to build momentum for a higher share price because I own the stock. If others own too then I'm extremely happy for them.
DavHaz - Stange isn't it? How you and your joined-at-hip mate braininfil, always work to hype this share at the same time.
When do you move on to the next share. We have seen you lot come and go several times over the years. Hope you're being paid, otherwise sad.
eurofil, where would you like me to sling my anchor? around your neck to bring you back down to earth from cloud cuckoo land.
The award for exceptional atruism goes to dulltry. He doesn't own this share but feels he has to urgently tell us why its going to go down to save us all. What a guy.
