Oh I should add there's a chance at least 30% of my capital will still be there in 2023! But if we are patient things may turn out good in the end.

"Would you back a £1000 to win in a horse race on a 20-1 outsider on a "feeling"?"
I might actually. Sometimes you have to trust your feelings. But I don't do horses because you might lose all of your capital. With HE1, I can't bear not to have some shares - that's my FOMO. With HE1, whatever happens in 2022, there's a good chance my capital will still be there in 2023. So for me its a safer bet than a horse. And I think as you intuited I'm only buying £500-1500 here so I'm fairly sanguine about things.
Absolutely, the whole company is going to look like a complete **** show if they turn up with no drill plans after submitting that information to 121 Mining.
Hopefully they are just there and in South africa to get a few million £ together to pad out the drill plan to 3 holes.
Then do a placing as the drill is in the ground to secure forward exploration and development funds @ 20p plus.
Hopefully we should hear something next couple of weeks

@AP
Well said, I agree, HE1 is in a far better
position now, as you say, multiple sites,
multiple chances of drilling commercial discoveries:)
Hold tight, ain’t getting any of mine, that’s 4 sure:)
Exploration success rates are around 30% generally. The chances will vary considerably dependent on the quality of geologists involved. I’m not convinced this is compatible to a 20/1 horse. Especially as there maybe multiple drills. It is high risk however.
ah the lotto is 50/50 chance ? I must have been playing it wrong all theses years because iv not won it yet
Its not an all or nothing scenario. We are an exploration company with multiple prospects and potentially what was 138Bcf could be a lot more now with the additional drill sites. We had 3 targets before the new seismic with an additional 6 leads now. Not to mention Eyasi & Balangida.
We have maybe $8 million dollars in the bank by now.
We also have scope to raise funds where necessary.
The fact is we will be drilling these targets at some point - there is no real reason why we wouldnt.
When we do, share price will be double or more what it is now.
Chances of discovery are better than ever with the additional science we have thrown at this also.
Hold tight .. we will be rewarded
Hi Wyn
No, l wouldn’t bet on a 20-1 outsider, either,
though, a lot more, for a thoroughbred,
which has the proven potential to deliver,
when drilled/needed.
IMO HE1 is a thoroughbred, timing couldn’t be better,
this HORSE, just needs the right jockey, to fully exploit
it’s World class resource of green helium, much more than
previously thought; ‘SILENCE is GOLDEN’ for those beholden:)
it's a 50/50 chance
exactly the same as the National Lottery
you either win, or you don't 50/50 ;-)
Thanks Wyndrum. Good to be cautious and see it in those terms. There are surely other possibilities for the share price, though. Some moderately good news might push the share price to 20p, for all we know, which would be a 2-1 shot by the same logic. My point being, we don't really know the odds. Whether that makes it more or less of a gamble is another matter!
Thanks Violet for your frankness.
Here's a thing: Given your reasoning (punt, FOMO feeling etc) it sounds as though this is a straight forward gamble.
What are the odds of success, 10 maybe 20-1? (100p to 200p per share?)
Now.how much have you put down: £1000? less, more?
Would you back a £1000 to win in a horse race on a 20-1 outsider on a "feeling"?
wyn
thanks. well I just bought a few more. for me - its all just 'feeling', fomo and guesswork at the moment.
mainly fomo that drives a small punt!
viloet, i know I have said it before but, this is all or nothing.
Unless and until HE1 "discover commercial Helium this is going nowhere. (you might be able to trade some spikes if you are lucky et c etc.
The "real" money will wait for developments.
Thats why talk of the geo political current sentiment is of absolute irrelevance.
The delay in any news simply re-enforces the risk profile of this particular stock. and right now the market is not expecting any good news soon, as expressed in the SP.
As I say the fact is the first step is to actually tell the market that there is a drill program booked (for whatever year!).
Its understandable but this BB is so many steps ahead of what is actually taking place as to be potentially dangerous to new investors investing more than they can comfortably afford to lose.
This is not to say an RNS won't drop tomorrow and the SP doubles but, until then, this is very very high risk.
The market does not like uncertainty and this has it bucket loads. (imo DYOR etc etc)
wyn
dunno. just wondering. a lot of folks here been saying he1 are gonna RNS and once they get the nice uptick they can move to a fundraise. but everyone's selling into all the rises at the moment. for all that the force of sentiment ready to roll behind he1 is super potent. so we shall see. and i doubt they could keep the lid on any news for very long anyway. still...imagine how the market's gonna turn if russia/ukraine produces some good news - that would be a perfect moment to get ready to RNS. but hey..i know nothing!
has anyone been to any of the 121 Mining events and met Minch to discuss the project? Or has anyone had any contact with the company to try establish why they said all will be revealed by end Q1 and still no news weeks later? Someone must have some clarification to offer here.... I remain positive but there must be LOADS of people that know what is going on today with HE1... big team, third parties, curious investors willing to investigate etc.
It is a fairly dismal time for assets generally at the moment but there are green shoots of hope re china and excessive regulation, Covid will reduce over summer generally and god willing the war will end. A summer/autumn drilling campaign might find a number of positive factors and improved investor sentiment hitting at just the right time. It’s easy to be negative with the RNS no show but I remain positive the wheels are turning.
How is there any shares left below 10p
Violet, what has that got to do with anything?
the news cycle is 24 hours at best. it will have no affect on HE1's SP if a positive RNS came out. Even if it came out on a market down day then it would simply go up a bit more over the following few days as everyone scrambles to get into a "sure"thing.
In fact a very big upday would be the most likely to constrain the SP rise, but then it would still find its level over the next few days.
Also do they want to release great news in the middle of a war and a bear market. It must be something they think about?
Or maybe not.
