Running1 ref 11.37 post That is a good question if they do not reach the £15k target which is an increase on the previous target then the money may not be collected ad they would be unable to fund the challenge. They may even already be out of time to mount the challenge if they have not already done so.
Re Islandmagee, I see that https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/nogascaverns has stuck at £10,342 for 11 days (with a distant target of £15k). I wonder what happens to the money that's been raised - who now gets it?
Scotwind 1 will transform manufacturing I the UK. The first lease for 10 years will guarantee shipbuild and infrastructure.
7,000 sq km. 17 sites. 25gw, approx 1/3 of current UK use. 2,500 wirly gigs (approx). Port re-builds and the creation of a centre of excellence. This will transform the UK economy eith tens of £billions investment of local content. This will prove the purchase, out of bankruptcy, at knock down prices, to be a very shrewd move.
The UK economy is likely to explode with the investment required in, not only Scotkand, but the whole of the UK coastal waters. Stand by, this is it.
Nobby31 ref 21.38 post one interesting point is that AR does not appear to have exercised his options that he has. I am not sure if they have expired. I wonder if he will exercise the options that are available this year.
But, but, but, they have exactly ONE HUNDRED contracts in the pipeline (weighted or unweighted, I can't be sure).
ONE HUNDRED!!!!
If my grandmother had wheels, she'd be a bicycle.
I’m afraid there is a simple explanation for that which is they well understood that there would need to be a series of placings to move the yards towards operational capability; call it inside information if you like.
A sure sign of the positive prospects for HARL would be a meaningful purchase or series of purchase by the key executives. This would likely engender belief that we will win some key business in the near term.
It does not wash with me that they are nearly always in closed periods; there are in fact numerous opportunities during the year to allow them to dip into the pockets we have helped fill.
Consequently I don’t think it unreasonable at these low prices to request they each purchase at least 200,000 each as that approximates to about 3% of their recently published total earnings.
Walk the talk
Good to see some focus on here returning to the gas caverns, rather than the building of fantasy unicorn ships.
Still no trading update, still no confirmation that Appledore has been paid for, still no idea how they plan to pay off the leg-breakers next month.
Avyererdowt ref 11.06 post can I correct your statement the accounts for the year to 31 July 2020 shows that Arun Raman total compensation that is both salary and bonus as well as pension came to £926,169 the bonus element of that was £519,906 not the £1m you stated. For the sake of completeness John Wood's total compensation that is both salary and bonus as well as pension came to £1,011,707 the bonus element was £554,718.
Northend typo apols
I'm hopeful that investors get a reward from this company and they may well do so.Trust has gone for many so it's down to the company to prove it is aligned with shareholders and not being controlled from outside the company.I think the storage caverns will go ahead and harl will build the infastructure but whether we will maintain a majority stake is for me very much in doubt..Harl needs cash to underpin any decent projects and the board has proved themselves to be less than genuine in the way they have instigated placings with rns,s that have been more fantasy than reality. This isn't conspiracy it's fact..Can anyone posting on here hand on heart say they trust John wood.If not it's a risky investment..I hold shares and admit I was ducked in by the promise and perception of big contracts and gas cavern projects .Alls not lost because there maybe rewards for shareholders but the company has much to do to change sentiment.
The northern please explain your statement about IM ,where did you get this information from?
Thenorthend ref 05.32 post I am not sure where you get that IslandMagee is dead in the water. The Marine License was granted on October 13. There were a number of conditions some of which need to be complied with before any of the work covered by the marine license can start. To comply with all those conditions will take until Q2 2022. It will take 36 months to build the first stage of IslandMagee. Can you point to any factual basis for saying that IslandMagee is dead in the water. I would observe that depending on how it is calculated the period within which to bring a judicial review has either only just expired or will not expire until 8 February. Whether the issuing of a judicial review would prevent the construction starting is dependent on a matter that I am not going to go into on this board. Anyone who knows how to contact me off this board can contact me and I will explain further.
Totally agree with you Chitta123, just watch what bonus payments are made to wood and Co then come back for another shareholder fleecing session. Islandmagee is dead in the water now, apparently it's not going to happen anytime soon.
Almost seems like this has been set up for someone else .Aquire assets fleece shareholders to fund it .Reward wood with a huge bonus.Up to press it's been deceit and false promises..Killik aren't here for the ride , they are pivotal .I wouldn't be surprised to see it moved on for a relatively small amount and then further down the line the island magee gas storage sold off so incoming company has huge funding..
