Timid - some of the later satellite images also show another drill collar about 100m to the East of HAD016.
It will be interesting to see if that one also goes over the top of the cylinder - If it does then the chances are that the body does plunge "steeply" and that is why they are now targeting that area at depth with drills from the West.
Hopefully that one out East will pick up the top of the cylinder at least.
I'd love to see some of the live data that the Newcrest geo's are looking at every day.
GLA - Paddy
Okay, great, thanks. That 7597500 section line is where HAD16 was drilled which Newcrest surmised went over the top of the cylinder. GGP said Havieron depth suggested by survey was only limited by technology i.e. they had not found the bottom. That's what makes the latest drilling interesting, moreso if PGs images in due course show Newcrest stepping out south of that collar that has appeared in the SW.
To move share price typo aplos
Timid, unlikley to to move so,look at good news on solg hardly moved tbh
Answer:
From the rest of the data, it gives the area size or anomaly size.
I quote:
"GGP RNS, 6 Dec 2017: Greatland Gold work extends potential s i z e of Havieron target...basement mineralisation may be present along s t r i k e of up to 1.5km.."
This is where it was also quoted by Newcrest which originated from GGP.
--------------------------------------
From Greatland Gold website on Paterson, look at the "Scallywag Ground Gravity with 2D IP & Chargibility & Targets [last chart on the right at the website at https://greatlandgold.com/paterson/
Click the said chart and one can s e e H a v i e r o n clearly which appears to show South West intensity. From what I observe Newcrest is drilling along this chart per the satellite imagery? Please check.
As I quoted from the last GGP 25 Oct 2019 re: Further Newcrest Havieron Results nd what Gervaise Heddle said about 950m depth [1,077m etc], it would appear ....
So, have to wait to see the next Newcrest Havieron Hole 19-33 results released on 23 Oct 2019. Since then, it has been another 12 holes drilled at 3 per week with 6 rigs.
From the CEO of Antipa who is a Geo, it was mentioned in one of their presentations that it does appear to show porphyry like .... Got to recheck when I have the time.
Just answering the question posed to me. Otherwise, how can it possibly exceed expectations per A. Ford? Gervaise Heddle mentioned 950m depth and also their belief of a large system. Same with the MiningNewsNet commentary about 1,077m depth. So, that is being discussed by above, n o t me.
hey news: "<>Newcrest said Havieron is 1.5km."
Did NCM say H is 1.5km deep?
On PGs latest image that SW collar suggests to me that NCM is going deeper, under HAD17 & 18 but 1.5km deep suggests total depth of ~2km allowing for 400m of cover. I can see that new SW hole going that deep. HAD17 had total down hole depth of over 1.5km reaching a depth of about 1400m. If they find the HGZs continuing that deep then it's happy days. The holes to the NW are targeting the top of the system so not so excited about those.
Some data:
<>Havieron Anomaly - 1,000m x 1,000m
<>From Satellite Imagery tool measurements - Havieron drilled to 1,200m West to East.
<>Newcrest said Havieron is 1.5km.
----------------------------------------
Numis last note at the time of Havieron Hole 10-14.
They used the measurements: 300 m x 200m [height] x 800m depth at 2g/t gold.
Comment:
So, it appears to show that the West to East length has been tested and a bit more per the satellite imagery at Havieron.
Per the GGP 25 Oct 2019 RNS: Further drilling update from Newcrest, it mentioned that "results further e x t e n d mineralisation to the N o r t h and a t d e p t h." The North was a step-out.
The RNS also stated: "Havieron - define up to 4 sub-vertical zones of higher grade mineralisation within a l a r g e r mineralised envelope."
The latest MiningNews.Net artice [paywall] is an opinion piece and the bit that can be read talks about the results from 1,077m. This is from the said 25 Oct 2019 GGP RNS. Gervaise said that "mineralisation observed o v e r 950m of vertical extent. These results f u r t h e r extend the l i m i t s of known mineralisation."
"..and underlie our belief that Havieron could become a l a r g e underground mining operation. Newcrest has met the min expenditure commitment a h e a d of the e x p e c t e d schedule."
From the Newcrest Plan View map they released it was marked that North & South Havieron is "open."
Added with the Sprott*s report and the sensitivity analysis chart, it has gone to the last depth level calculated from 800m to 1,000m.
From the chart + Numis*s report, it was no surprise as to what A.Ford said about he would not be surprised if Havieron exceeded expectations. The data and GGP RNS etc appears to evidence this. Of course, Newcrest owns 0% of Havieron at the moment and hence in 12-18ths, it would have taken them to the ownership level. However, it appears industry can read results etc?
Just sayin. All historical now. Pardon the typo*s.
Love your work PG. Can you ask AS to interview a Newcrest geo!
I have tweeted Andrew Scott to ask him if Proactive can do a summary of the last Numis note in the same way that they did when Numis first initiated their coverage of GGP.
He has replied to say that he is happy to ask - We'll see if anything comes of it.

WTF did he say exactly? PG, you or I could have given a better interview complete with why we think Newcrest is drilling where it is. What we need is a geo able to interpret what is happening at Havieron with and comapre it with something similar that has been a success so we can educate ourselves. That interview said FA in terms of anything informative or newsworthy. That was ramping paid for by someone!
I like the sound of that bit that says he won't be surprised if Havieron exceeds expectations - well my expectations are 100Moz so I'll be chuffed if it exceeds that lol.
Seriously though - more positivity with the caveat of time to prove the resource up - all looking good.

Proactive Investors interview Alastair Ford, Mining Analyst who has spoke to Gervaise Heddle.
From what I could hear:
1)Ford spoke to Gervaise Heddle, CEO of GGP.
2)GGP success story. Tough time in the market.
3)GGP delivered a m a j o r discovery at Havieron in Australia.
4)Ford spoke about exploration potential and insights into Havieron with Gervaise.
4)Blackhills- g o o d grades, early days.
5)GGP hopeful to deliver 2 n d look alike to Havieron [in geological terms]. Set out to do.
6) SP falled back -£50m -£60m mkt cap. If deliver another exploration s u c c e s s recommence - speculative remark.
7)Newcrest AGM - 6 rigs. Going for hell for leather not some development pocket for a rainy day. Going for it.
8)Havieron - not surprised e x c e e d s expectations. 1yr -18 months - know for sure.
9) Process interesting . Trading in GGP shares now & then.
My comment:
The last Newcrest update on Havieron was well read including the Blackhills results.
