I am shocked to see how long this thread has continued for, 43 posts up to now.
I started this thread as a positive response to a thread started by a first time poster who only posted once
using the subject heading of "Complete Lack Of Reality On This Board"
Fortunately starting this thread meant that only 9 posts were made using that heading.
Otherwise there would of been 52 posts with that negative subject heading.
Thank you all for the positive responses.
Goodnight
Hi notrader, sorry if I stole your thunder but I didn't see your post.
Obviously there are two minds that think alike.

Hydro, Colin has sweet F.A. in shares held with GGP. Should get the "tin tack" from his employers, absolute hopeless trolling but his presence is annoying.Reporting is defo required though, should not be allowed to post. Come on folks, his time is up!

I have formed the opinion recently that at least some of the agitators who have frequented the board for the last nine months are politically motivated.
As an example, I binned Clairesmith several weeks ago when she (or he) let slip on a post that Tories and landlords were to blame for something or another. An odd stance for someone supposedly investing in a gold exploration company. It just didn't 'fit'.
SAS - is there an echo in here?
sorry, SpadesAspade.
Spadesasade
if i could have given you 10 tickups I would. Warren buffett told us that patience is the key. I look back on the shares I sold out on and allmost all of them came good after I left. I stuck with GGP and as a result I hold 1,000,000 on a free ride. I'm not boasting, I just learn from my mistakes.
Good luck to all genuine holders.

Your post from 29-01-21
"Tome : I am a realist with no emotional attachment to this share, I too am nursing decent paper loss with a traded up average of 30+, it is my interests for this to do well but I want to see income this year from selling product not by delaying the mining. Lets walk before we try to run, I don't like some of the similarities to UKOG, to much exploration not enough income generating production. I am not implying that GGP is or will go the same way."
Now then Colon, that post just about sums you up as a complete no brainer, who didn't do any due diligence at all before investing. You as a lot of other wingebags were just chasing rainbows for a quick gain. I have no sympathy for you at all.
If you had of done even a smidgeon of research, where the hell did you see GGP making an income this year. And don't tell me they could of sold the biggest cash cow in the history of Australian mining just so you could of made a couple of quid.
Instead of posting complete ball-ox here, take a look in the mirror and ask who is to blame for your mistake, and the answer will be looking straight back at you.
As the old saying goes "If you can't stand the heat, get out the kitchen". Most people here are proper investors with a 3-10 year plan. Not a trader with a 3-10 week plan.
picayune,
Thank you for such a brilliant post
@Colin1 With the greatest respect, I am not quite sure what the purpose of your posts is.
If they are to moan about the losses you have had so far, and posting makes you feel better, then just be aware you are just going to get lots of opposing views (which might make you feel worse).
If at the back of your mind you need validation that you haven't made the wrong choice, then like others have said, just keep these in your bottom drawer and come back after the PFS, and save yourself some grief.
If you think you've made the wrong choice and regret your investment, again I think just selling and chalking it up to experience would save yourself some grief.
If you're hoping that you're "warning" people off investing in what you think is a scam/fraud/dud then I'm afraid your posts, like others have pointed out, just reflect your buying at (what you think to be) a wrong time, and aren't contributing to overall knowledge about GGP - which I presume is what you would want to be doing, right?
I'm just writing as a fellow investor who is significantly down overall, but am confident in my judgement, and am concerned for your mental well-being - you are only going to get negative replies with your current posts.
Colin - "Apple is a going concern, producing new product. GGP is not producing so no comparison."
When you bought into GGP in January, then got caught on the spike with an average of 30p+, you said 'I want to see income this year from selling product not by delaying the mining'
I think from this, people can see the depth of your research and investment nous. Obviously, you knew nothing about the company and were a trader looking to join the GGP gravy train and got greedy. It is nobody's fault but your own that you bought shares on an assumption that was never going to happen.
@Count. Agreed, life is full of "If's, buts and maybes" some you win, some you lose.
That should be "if anyone sees him" ;-)) it must be contagious
Village idiot alert .. a village has lost an idiot called Colin, if don't one sees him please call 999
Colin1 - "If a share continues to fall and doesn't recover over 8mnths then IMO and timeframe, I've caught a falling knife. IMO"
I first bought into GGP in 2018 at around 1.90p and kept buying "the falling knife" all the way down to 1.07p and averaged 1.38p.
If I had followed your timeline I would have bailed out just before the farm in agreement at a loss.
I will stick to my opinion, you can stick to yours.
@ Sonny. Apple is a going concern, producing new product. GGP is not producing so no comparison.
Apple lost 70% . So has Colin by the looks of his moaning over the last few weeks, for anyone to be so down on a share and still say he has shares in it .. well says everything about Colin.. empty vessels and all that !
do you sit and watch the SP chart all day 5 days a week? for all your investments? we don't need you to report what we can do for ourselves. jeez take a day off.
Fun fact - Apple has lost over 70% of its value 3 times during its history.
Bid = 16.4 and falling daily.
YTD = Minus 25.8%
thanks for the well thought out and composed response, says it all. good luck with your investing life, you'll need it based on what you've displayed here
Colin - "Predicting a year into the future about something that hasn't happened is at best a guess and is pointless"
That must be one of the stupidest things you've ever posted, especially on an investment BB. Perhaps you should write to Warren Buffet and let him know that you think his investment strategy is pointless.
@MHO1. Each to their own opinion/agenda/timeframe.
I'll stick to the real world, you stick to living your dream.
don't get your logic at all, have you invested prior to buying GGP? investing is making a decision today based on a guess of the future, that is not "pointless" at all, it is the name of the game. to buy means you guess that in the future the company will be worth more than today. investing is recommended for 3-5years minimum by most 'experts'. GGP is still early days and you are fretting over nothing. in 2019 the SP was sideways, with big % swings sometimes. prior to that it also moved large % swings at times. in 2020 it went to the moon. in 2021 down like the entire sector.... if you look. GDX / GDXJ equate to money either coming in or out of the sector, 2021 = out chasing other sectors. in the future that will turn at some point. if you do not understand GGP and the sector than go research instead of moaning, it is far more helpful to your general well-being. all you do is post moan after moan. hence my comment, bottom-drawer and come back Dec 2022. why Dec 2022? well if you have done your research then the PFS, FS and DTM would have all dropped. and hopefully income is very close. finally, i am not sad nor have i attempted to impress, what a foolish thing to say. i am telling the truth. i suggest you stick to just reading comments here if you cannot contribute anything of value.
@MHO1. The bit about the car, sad attempt to impress anyone who's interested !!
