Hi Charta
Yes I'm in after my broker recommended it. Looks good , early days....hoping for another GGP , ha ha, just like every share I'm in !
Start jogging wat - you might just catch up with your mare perrins.
Now now
I was just replying to SaS point about 1st having to find gold & it's assosiated cost irregardless of tenement size when trying to find 'the next GGP'
Interesting that Newcrest already own nearly 10% of the shares there and yet none at GGP - APPARENTLY :)
It’s not so much about what’s going on now with Antipa, even though they currently have in a way, more personal gold than GGP, they’re issue is that there isn’t a clear “path to production” yet. Which is where GGP excels.
The idea is that if the Paterson is indeed “elephant country” as we keep being told by multiple sources, then Antipa, with its landholding from Telfer all the way up to Winu, is like the now long extinct Large Woolly Mammoth…clearly the “big daddy” in the area.
Hi Ggpt
Thanks I do keep an eye on what they’re doing but I haven’t seen anything yet worth persuing in their jv.
I think Newcrest got frustrated and took over the management of that jv. Can’t see anything with IGO yet.
Minyari 100% is a long way off production and the 45 degree shaped ore body is not a beautiful shape like Havieron.
Not too sure about the Rio jv not followed that one very closely.
To be honest away from Ggp , The Grace project looks about the best in the Paterson
Link works. All the middle ground (4 huge couloured segments) is all Antipa owned.
https://greatlandgold.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/PatCompMap_v6_18-07-20.jpg
Hopefully that works. Antipas ground is huge. There has been gold and other minerals found in 2/4 areas already and antipa has a personal resource of well over 4moz already from only two JVs. They have 3 JVs with Rio/Newcrest/IGO. All big boys and their current valuation per Oz of gold is under $30. The average in Australia is closer to $200 per Oz. If you want land acreage in the Paterson, they’re the only ones to go for. HUGE ownership!
Hopefully the link to the picture above works but if not just go to a GGP Paterson page and see how much land they own.
Hi Ggpt
Why do you say Antipa?
Antipa Minerals (ASX) - greatest play available in the Paterson for a reason. Their landholdings there are IMMENSE. Check out the ownership maps and check out the JVs. It’s been pushed on here before for a reason. Currently I’d say even more undervalued than GGP.
Also, I see lots of talk about “cash” for this 5% from Newcrest. I think people will be disappointed coz I’m sure Shaun said it was going to be like a “cashless” transaction. (I’m sure Timber or Dip can confirm this with the notes from the interview regarding the 5%) What I expect and hope for with the 5% is that Shaun will add funding to it and give it all straight back to Newcrest for our percentage of the capex. At which point we will be paid up till initial production. I don’t expect any cash to come into our coffers.
Thanks for the quick reply Bamps :0)
I know it's a very early stage gold play, but like WSBN etc, it would be nice to get in on the ground floor on anything in the Patterson that shows signs of early gold. Even if it is just a small punt.
I haven't put a lot in, just enough to "wet my appetite" if the next set of drill results are good.
Thanks again
Rex
I'm grateful for all cross ramps. Are we all really that precious about it? It's how i found out about GGP... despite me currently being underwater. Not much else to talk about since the 5% figure came out. So I love all of these punts. Keep 'em coming.
Ramp?
Yes possibly, but how many peeps say they heard about ggp from another board? I have been looking into mila, est as well as others & am just putting it out there. This is a very knowledgeable board & I'm sure peeps can take it or leave it.
Whatever Wat - yours is a blatant ramp.
Hi CRex
Funny you should ask cos IPad asked me the same question at the weekend.
Mila licence Kathleen Valley is west of Ernest Giles it’s just off the main 49 highway due south of Mount Keith. Now that mines tailings lake is enormous it looks larger than Telfers, I’m not sure if it’s feasible to get Ernest Giles ore to there, the road from EG goes SW to Laverton.
Look at their presentations cores are shown they’re totally different to WSBN or ARV latest cores.
I don’t know enough about core identification but you can see the quartz veining and sulphides
6.6m@ 14.86g/t au and 21.79g/t ag is the best.
Kathleen valley is in an isolated spot close to the abandoned township of Kathleen.
Very early exploration play , I’m not recommending these either way I haven’t studied these enough
Lol at least about the only thing that region didn’t steal from me was my sense of humour :o)
'Kazakhstan is the greatest country in the world.' Source: Borat
In the rankings of corrupt countries compare Kazakhstan to say Australia.
Good luck
Maybe once Putin's gone I'll have a look.
I had POLY, POG & Evraz. Sold out of POG months ago with a profit, sold out of POLY today (I got them at £1.36, sold today at £2.17) and the EVRAZ shares are currently suspended - I've put that down as a loss for now. Took the POLY stake and put it into MILA this morning.
Rex
Yeah with what's happening in Russia atm I can understand that but no sanctions atm (I also own #poly) +the CEO lives there & owns over 12% of the stock + a very experienced bod - 20% jv with the gov & some very exiting prospects I personally feel its worth a look
It wasn't a cross-ramp, but thanks anyway.
As markjphennesseyg said, Kazakhstan is a bit risky for me. Putin had a go at them a while back, and has threatened them again very recently. I think anything in or bordering Russia is currently uninvestable.
Rex
I wouldn’t touch anything in Kazakhstan. Very bad experiences from that neck of the woods ATB
If we're going to do a bit of cross ramping - have you looked at #EST? Hit some fantastic grades/lengths + have just extended their rare earth's prospect x10 - all in Kazakhstan which their ceo described as like Oz in the 1970's & only 8mill mcap
Guys,
Whilst we wait for GGP to re-rate, have any of you come across MILA or have any thoughts on it?
The RNS from the 29th June shows excellent drill results. Some of the holes assayed are hitting 10-15g gold!
Bamps, have you had a look at it?
Grateful for any thoughts.
For the record, I've taken a small position in MILA & no I'm not ramping it, just looking for thoughts.
Rex
