Toffy, from your message it's clear you don't understand how the markets and placing actually work. Do more research and then buy in while the price is so rediculously low.
This is what you think Toffy. It has shaken your faith but please don't speak on my behalf. Do your own etc
Argh so frustrating to see people on here still trying to sell the 80p placing as a good thing. You are fooling no one.
Placing is good. Placing at 80p is bad.
People are not stupid.
Let’s be honest and accept it was a bad move. It has shaken trust in the directors. But I’m still hoping this will bounce back next month once we recover from impact of the placing.
Tomorrow might be a tough day once 10 million shares at 80p enter. Market cap will go up as new shares are admitted.
IMO DYOR
Dvharrison the share price shot up very quickly so no one could have known how far from 80p the price would be on the day they announced it. And the priority was getting cash in the account to make the most of the covid situation. If anything it should have given investors faith in GDR
@Janiax, agree, at the moment Avact has more visibility than Genedrive, that will soon change with sales and the sentiment will come here for the next uplifts
Lots of positives about the company but heavily discounted placing just too much of a dead weight on the share price at the moment imo..
I agree, market cap should be between £100m and £200m in my opinion, based on a minimum of ca. £50m in sales coming very shortly...
The tint £50m Mcap looks even more of a bargain.... what a steal...... Il be gobsmacked if Big pharma is not watching this very closely
@teabiscuit
I have the same opinion, I sold out of Avact yesterday when it hit my target of £2, and Put the proceeds in here at £1.5 to bring my average down.
I'm only playing with a small amount of money, though would be nice to see it double.
The Mcap here is very low compared to other players, (we are still half ODX, and 1/8th AVCT)
Its disappointing that AVCT is still going up while this has gone down again.
But as per me post yesterday "today is not our day"
Our day will be soon. One big Sales RNS and this share should rocket, although knowing my history people will sell on news and I'll be down another 20%
On balance I think the drop is entirely due to the MM placing large sell orders for the II's 80p placing and simply managing the price based on daily PI trading. The good thing is that there is good demand for the shares. Once the II's are happy with their positions and stop selling they can pick up again and the share price will rise rapidly to a market cap reflective of sales and opportunity. It can only go one way, eventually, and they know that so happy to drop and buy in lower. IMO
Since we got the CE the market has not reacted to this good news and opportunity. Nice pickings at this level.
ODX share price rising - CEO on Sky news. Likely drop here due to that?
Everything is in place... Just the sp that doesn't seem to know it
Thepunter it is ridiculous, I suspect though AVCT is going to have a crash in share price sooner rather than later, the MM is running on pure speculation with them, it will take just one piece of poor news for that share price to come crashing down. Where as GDR are now completely de-risked and the market will catch on soon enough, the placing has hid the actually true fundamentals at play here, once the herd see GDR moving north they will rush over here. It may be in a few days, it may be in a month from now but, fundamentals always win out. People buying into AVCT at the moment are taking a considerable risk, people buying into GDR now are the ones with the smart money.
and proven products in the diagnostics market across a board set of diseases
Exactly, we are so undervalued
Avacta market cap £440 million still awaiting regulatory approvals
Genedrive market cap £49 million with CE mark
