Unfortunately Chinese suppliers tends to always ask for payment upfront!
I think unfortunately at times of crises you take people at their word. At the time it was pretty obvious that there hadn't been enough time to create the test so it wasn't a surprise to everyone I don't think. What was poor in my mind was the suppliers were demanding large minimum order quantities and demanding payment upfront. Poor show.
I had dealing with Chinese company before, never again...the sample or in this case the test they provided are done to the correct standard/specifications...but the one they sells to you are sub-standard, done on the cheap!!
India will not be buying Chinese or want to be seen doing business the Chinese especially after their border issues.
I think the SP is where it is as Dave said June is a very realistic target to record sales and they haven't updated the market, no wonder the SP is so depressed... They are losing their momentum

A lot of people are misinformed about ODX, just because we are in GDR doesnt mean they are ****.
The CEO has made some mistakes, but its far from a Mickey Mouse company, their SP reflects where they are and their potential.
Good luck with trying to get your money back from the Chinese!
I can't believe that people don't pay attention to what has happened previously with the UK purchased of the Chinese test kit a few months back!! it was useless then... SIGH!
The India government list approved 113 tests, ODX & Primer Design. Around 70 are Chinese, rough guestimates of others are 12 S Korean, 10 German, 4 French 6 US & the rest Indian. This rough summary shows how competitive the market is & why SP is perhaps where it is.

ODX got approval for their elisa test which hot ce marking on last week of april 2020 (one month before us) and it is completely different test. Not worth to compare their RNS and validation
Wonder how many people are now spiked on ODX without reading the RNS
I think the powers that be at odx are simply trying to keep the sp above the open offer Price
we also know from @flying that the DCGI lab appears to have had issues with their equipment, suggesting results have only just been submitted, @flying is that your take?
@OaW it's 15 days (I'm going to assume working days) after the lab results are submitted to DCGI, not after the application is made. We know they had applied by 12 June presentation but who knows when before/after that the actual results were submitted...
If we assumed they'd been submitted on 12 June then 15 days is up tomorrow. I'm hedging my bets that it was around that time so the approval should, I hope, come through next week. Whether that can translate immediately into orders/sales remains to be seen
GDR Share price just flashed up to 119, then back to 115 - still buyers out there ?
Open 114.25
High 119.00
Low 108.64
current price: 115
ODX current price 41: - wishy washy RNS not helped here:
Open 45.00
High 48.25
Low 40.88
OK. I didn't read it at all. I'm definitely NOT interested in Odx or any other antibody test supplier. I'm merely curious how the Indian approval process could be speeded up.
Yeh It is a very off RNS. I read the headline rather than the body of text initially.
It's a nothing RNS. May as well of said we've applied for approval
It’s not an approval, they’ll be in a queue, a long way behind GDR, due to it being an antibody test.
Question stands, why was David so rampy after the crappy placing, now radio silence.... As of they are hibernating...
Read it properly. They only have approval under certain terms and conditions of it actually working. It's a joke of an RNS really. Anyway this is a Genedrive board who cares about ODX
How did Omega get its approval so quickly?
its not testing for the same thing
no,
different type of test
