I was wondering what is current GCAT cash position, are we expecting some dilution in the future?
Yeah i think updating Kilimepesa to over 1Moz will really peak the interest in those sitting on the sidelines
I find it hard explaining it sometimes when I've had messages on twitter. I'l reel off a giant list of factors and potential catalysts and then i get "Why is the market cap so low?", which is difficult to explain at this stage. I like the management and love the drive they come with. Like Jason said in a recent interview, the update should promote confidence in shareholders about the management delivering, we can then kick on from there and it will become apparent that this will be a big success. Far too many companies with a "kick the can down the road" philosophy, promising anything and everything in the near-mid term but delivering very little. That will be different here
I'm excited to see the projected Heap leach figures, combined with 1,000oz+ from the CIL plant, in time we will be charging towards 25,000 oz per annum
I agree with your comments about it being an unusual story. I would also add that when I have tried (probably very badly) to explain the company to other people there is always more than a little incredulity. Why would someone sell a gold mine for $350,000 when it is, after spending say £3,000,000, worth over £15,000,000 ? I think we will need results to start to demonstrate that this really isn't too good to be true.
Also, I think we will hugely benefit from an updated JORC report which I know will come once the drilling campaign is sufficiently progressed. I think that we are currently working off a report from 2012 and that only included 13,000oz of measured gold at the mine.
Yes it’s easy to forget we are but a few months old . Jason & co have been gong at lightening speed
I’m glad gold is holding over $1800 and how we are very close to the long awaited Q4 gold production from Kilimapesa followed by assay results in March , hopefully a taster before then with our full owned rigs drilling on two of the surrounded area .
What’s not to like
RP you are right to question the L Curve here and personally I don't think there is any correlation for GCAT. It is already producing and therefore income to progress any new discoveries. Proximity to processing infrastructure and workforce will also have a bearing. A new type of curve needs to come into play here. Very very exciting.

My advice to Jason would be that Caracal is running at such a breakneck pace, that most small investors haven't been able to assess what has already been achieved, let alone what is set to happen, as most junior explorer/miners, wouldn't have reached this level in 5 years let alone 5 months.
Please don't think I am asking the guys to slow down to let the prospective shareholders catch up, but I do think your Web site needs a lot of updating, because although all of the information is there, you have to search for it and in some cases read multiple pdfs to bring all the information out, as the web site as an 'easy to access view' is falling behind in what it covers, even in what it is showing for Kilimapesa, let alone the Tanzanian assets.
All I can say is the first year of Caracal, hasn't even been half a year yet and the results are outstanding by any measure and even if you only manage to reach the targets currently set, I personally will be overjoyed - so a great big thank you to Jason. Robbie and all of the team.
It's an excellent idea idea to share our perspective with Jason:
1. I must admit that I would be mostly comfortable with the SP as it is, for perhaps the first half of 2022, if it wasn't for how it is hurting us when it comes to raising equity. But lets face it, the cheaper it is the more I can buy, so my personal hope is that this ridiculously low price could last until the first week of April, so I can stuff my ISA with as much as possible - purely selfish and totally unrealistic I know, but you did ask.
2. To me personally, the 3Mozs of reserves achieved in 12-15 months is starting to look an easy win, because if we are expecting Kilimapesa to rise to 2Moz this year then with the Tanzanian acquisitions we already hit that target possibly in Q1 and that is without the boost where Tanzanian resources can increase to 1.4Mozs if the Nyakafuru Reefs application is successful. If that were not enough, if you take Jason's repeated statement (which I totally believe) that we are still chasing more acquisitions, and aiming for bigger and better each time (which I get, as they don't just want to repeat the same thing time after time - no matter how good they are at doing it), then how many Million ozs, of reserves can we expect to be added, if only just one more acquisition were to land in 2022, even without the additional targeted prospecting that we know will take place in Tanzania? So my brain is telling me 5Mozs might be an underestimate, but just to say it out loud seems like outrageous ramping, so I just don't know how Jason and the team can signal it without sounding overly optimistic.
3. Riaan Lombard and Paul Reeves will make a fantastic team to run and develop Kilimapesa resources, and drive the development of the Tanzanian assets, which obviously begs the question, what will Robbie and Jason be focussing on once they are not helping drive day to day operations?
4. At the risk of sounding greedy, I would also like to know more about the specifics of how the Kilimapesa development will grow, but I realise that Riaan will probably be drawing this up, or at least overseeing it, so it is probably a few weeks down the line from the 1st of Feb.
5. Finally, though I could go on, the absolute top of my wish list is what I believe I heard from Jason or Robbie, that one of the prospective assets on the radar is indeed another producing mine, obviously very much down at the heel, and in need of that Caracal TLC to revive it, but I think it would really send the SP into orbit if it were achieved. particularly if it is bigger and a better prospect than the original Kilimapesa mine.
Continued in the next post....
Jason could use his Aussie connections and bring in 'the Ferals'; that would get some media attention.
Yeah I fully understand and appreciate those comments. Like I say it was more of an observation than anything else. I just felt that that RNS was so good, it’s just poor to see the reaction it got. Fully behind the team here and by the sounds of it, we’re in for a tornado of news flow in 2022.
Agree 100% with that Greg
Achieved so much in the short time Caracal has been listed, a string of good news and positive RNSs added to the rise in POG we are looking good for a nice 2022.
Surprises are always welcome and have the biggest impact on the SP but it invites traders so not always the best as the SP can suddenly rise then drop back again.
A nice steady gradual rise fueled by good consistent results, market stability and confidence in Caracal. It will come over time as we grow. Not a share for the traders at the moment which isn't a bad thing.
I'm happy with what the company is achieving and I've got my fill of shares. Time to relax whilst the company works hard for me and let the market catch up in its own time
‘Please give us some sp moving news.‘
If I had a choice it would be news which would move the sp up.
The one thing i would say, and i wouldn't classify this as a negative, but something I've picked up on. I do think with the acquisitions, brilliant acquisitions, the market reception would have been a lot better if we wasn't expecting it to come. We added over 1Moz of gold to the company resources, which to me is company changing. But that much had already been spoken about it, the surprise and X factor of the announcement was a little flat. also expecting more acquisitions in the year, i just hope we get news out of the blue to take the market by surprise
Although, I'm one of the shareholders who is all for transparency so I'l take whatever comes our way. Beyond that, extremely satisfied with the performance so far. Verry excited for the upcoming updates
Please give us some sp moving news.
