The difficulty here is no one else can take over fastjet as Solenta are majority share holder. Ordinarily I would run with the possibility they may want to take fastjet over. But really take what over. There is very little left. Solenta have legal charges on everything. For Solenta be better if fastjet went bust as they are first charge holders. This is why fastjet are trying to deinvest bringing fastjet out of solenta control and clear debt. The question is solenta not fastjet and what they want.
1/3 of a penny 0.33 would still be a good result at this level
This is my take on this SP and being a share holder myself, I would point to a takeover here. But it won’t be at a penny that’s for sure. With Solenta having already a 59% plus then it would make sense for them to take full control but it won’t be for a penny a share. More like a 1/3 of a penny per share. My views of course
This on the website less than a month ago, seems ministry expecting to be increasing Zimbabwe travel
venues for tourists
Standing behind their commitment, fastjet has extended their flexible booking policy for all passengers
until the end of September,

well said Wheresallmemoney to many bitter people out there
So, what we do know.
They are taking booking on the website and seats are still available. So, this is fact.
Some people on here think the company will go bust before, due to lack of operating cash. Let's wait and see.
I have several million shares and will not be selling having come this far. My investment is based on, when the company start flying the share price should go up. I admit if may not go straight back to the 1p I was expected, and may be should have taken some profit when we had the false rise.
To those out there manipulating the share price, could you please just P*ss off and let the price do what it wants to do.
Thank you.
"this company is done finished and grabbing its last breath".
Yet - Breakfree was happy to average down a month back......
No. If you get your fact right !! M&G released a rash of notices the week after they had actually sold !
It’s the yanks that take the money in to Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe can do what it wants but if they don’t go which the American situation is preventing there won’t be any revenue.
BREAKWIND said 'That comment was made prior to the disclosure that M&G were dumping stock. And we all know now why they are getting out !!!'
You lie. it was made a day after the RNS notification. YOU'RE FULL OF ****.
Can we please just ignore breakfree.
Try to argue with an idiot and you'll always lose.
That bbc article seems promising re: restarting tourism in Zimbabwe. We are however now overdue a trading update. Who thinks something before end of week?

This board of late seems to survive by posters taking things out of context. Comments are made at the time with the information available. So to pull them forward when on the ground circumstances are out of context. To do the same with historical news reports also is out of context.
At the end of the day banter is not going to change fact this company is done finished and grabbing its last breath. The company told all it knows no reason for the share price increase... why because there are no company merits !! You all deep down know this !!
Oh my goodness.
Breakfree is calling us Muppets for having some sort of faith / hope in the company yet he is also (supposedly) invested.
He's invested in this company but still says the below comments about those invested;
"You have answered my previous question. Time will tell who the muppet is. This is just Flybe all over again and look how many investors lost out."
That comment was made prior to the disclosure that M&G were dumping stock. And we all know now why they are getting out !!!
Invested here, somewhat higher than I would like to be, but have been watching and reading these last few weeks.
Break free: give it a rest, man. Seriously. Checking through your posting history, we know you lost in Flybe. We also know you change your tune with FJet as and when it suits. Just a couple of weeks back you posted:

Why are people selling. The reporting of sells that took place last week have nothing to do with the merits of the company. Nothing has changed , other than now we know why the share price was kept down last week. It’s today’s silly selling that’s bring it down. Personally I have gone back in for more.
I think it’s worth a punt yes. Nominal in what you are happy to lose. But to represent press comments as up to date facts that are no longer factual is just plane ramping
She’ll clearly your not experienced in duff airlines and background deals and notice boards that ramp shares in airline writing complete tosh that is not related to the truth on the ground
Thanks for your swift response BREAKWIND and is much appreciated, however I never invested in Flybe and this is not Flybe so not sure what that has to do with Fastjet. You have also clearly stated that if it went any lower it would be worth a punt No ?
If that’s correct... which it’s not as history proves. When flights were at full belt the share price was at it lowest ever. Now the Americans are not coming and the company is at its last breath how do you see any substantial increase. After all loan of 600,000 is chicken feed when trying to pay standing still costs on an airline.
You have answered my previous question. Time will tell who the muppet is. This is just Flybe all over again and look how many investors lost out.
That's very good news, let's hope we hear something from FJET now about returning to the skies. Good luck all
No there NOT this article was dated 16th of April and has since been shelved due to current situation .
I’ve found a great link. I don’t know how old it is, the video is in black and white, but it’s this pilot guy, Captain Spring, Summer, or Winter or something , anyway a season, dressed in a leather flight jacket, a silk scarf and goggles, going on about opening up Africa with a new airline he set up in his house in Crawley, Sussex, England. In the video, he talks about possible names for the airline. Conscious of the need to appeal to the local market, several names were thrown about. Steam Chicken Air, Metal Bird Airlines and many more. In the end, he decided on Fastjet. This must be the same company?
it really is a great buying opportunity . facts are right there, just a matter of time .
