I’ll wait to see if olda can round up a few to defend his viewpoint, interesting at this point to see who does.
Oldabutwisa doesn’t even know what he is talking about ..
This...
wadnob - I take it you are being funny! If they cannot get funding for Factom after hunting around for a long time, as the largest holder of their stock, we are going to lose heavily. And since we are an IT, we cannot take it over and run it even if we wanted to. It just goes to show that bad news happens fast, great news filters out slowly. Even you can't put a shine on this!”
Complete and utter nonsense Olda as you well know. I’m sure ODonnell is fully aware of it as well. Pathetic attempt at deramping.
Oldabutnowisa,
Boy, you sound like O’Donnell with all that use of “we” in your post today. Are you O’Donnell?

If as Oldabutnowisa says an IT company cannot run a company would this not be a way around it?
What ever,if we do get anything out of it, then it will be a bonus as we had written it off.
The SAFE agreement gives us a fighting chance to recover some of our investment. If the $6 million SAFE had been converted to shares at an earlier date those shares would be worth next to nothing now. Series A investors of $8 million now own less than 10% of the company. The SAFE agreement is getting blamed for Factom not being able to raise further funds, but the real reason Factom couldn't raise is because their business model and pipeline wasn't attractive enough. Hopefully some value can be spun out of their assets/IP to mitigate our loss.
Surely there is nothing to stop FFWD setting up another company for factom in which we own 100%
Or are way way out?
