Good point Rowka. That wind has definitely changed in our direction and SA should be trying to sail into it.
Although AA have had their problems in SA with Covid 19 etc they have also seen much higher revenues over the past year due to PGM price hikes. Cash to burn?
Presumably all of the big boys will be involved in the upcoming bidding war no doubt!
if EUA actually have the resources we here believe they do, then I can only imagine the big players like AA would have to be involved in some way for fear of missing out and allowing another company to control the market more easily - I just can't imagine any big player would not at least be running the slide rule over this one!
Rowka - do you think that there are 18 companies who could afford us presently, I am less sure, I think maybe just 6 or so really big players, they would never allow a 'smaller' business to get their hands on us surely?
I take back my previous comment. It’s just you have an alternative view. Sorry to dis you.
Rowka,
My big two are these (my twitter account):-

Uu-named Chinese buyer (working on this now)
And then the rest we have:
Anglo American
Implats
Vale
North American
Northam
A sensible observation. The entities involved here are not Johnny come lately ‘s. They’ve been around for some time and have BILLIONS. Come back when you’ve worked it out.
Try harder at what precisely?
If they didn’t have the funds they wouldn’t have joined the party. Sorry that’s a non starter. Must try harder.
... and given some of the number being thrown around here who says the buyer has the readies for a cash only offer . I think we have forgotten to look at who wants to buy us, how much can they afford and why would they buy us. There are two sides to this transaction.
emax, the saying is dont count your chickens! i really hope this goes well and am happy to hang in here but this share and company are not the most straightforward. still i too am hopeful.
Emac
If the company is sold your shares go with it. So you will not have any shares to keep in the new company. It is possible that the buyer offers a mix of cash and their shares to the existing shareholders or even no cash and only their shares. We will find out when any sale is announced.
If there is a partial sale then you will still have your shares and a special dividend of cash will be paid.
Time will tell.

Hi all. I was new to Eua end of June. Only really started investing start of this year. Did loads of researching and looking at previous RNS etc and decided to invest in EUA. Thank you to all the LTH'S (mac Ian rowka esp.) for your fantastic thoughts research and advice. You've made understanding some aspects of mining much easier!
I know all the LTH'S will probably sell when hopefully the sale is announced as you've being in for so long. I'm stuck in two minds whether to sell or keep the shares in the new buyers name for a couple of years hoping they potentially increase further. Decisions decisions!
Anyway thanks once again for your efforts as this cash will definitely make a difference to me and the family! Roll on tomorrow!
Hopefully tonight people will be a little calmer than previous Sunday nights!!
