I concur Slappy , nice post !
I think those of us who rate the extraordinary potential here , those of us who have not sold , those of us who intend to hold and increase our shareholding this year can now fully understand most of what has been happening which has caused such a dramatic turn round in the value of our holdings .
Yes , it is disappointing and it is frustrating that news `Appears` to be slow in translating thoughts and hopes into facts and irritating that such an opportunistic CC is taking so long to be dismissed . These current frustrations will most definitely pass news will flow , contracts will be confirmed , plant will be completed and I believe we will sign with a world class JV partner even if that partner turns out to be some one other than Wood Grp . We all want these transformational events next week but in truth events of such magnitude do and will take time . The important issue is to recognise the huge new opportunities in this sector and particularly with this Company , and build your investment stake at the begining of this development not halfway through the growth phase . I have looked at the alternative `Greenies` , but I remain totally committed to EQT as I think this Company represents by far the best investment case . Far too risky to hope to time your entry just before we move back on up .
Fwiw ~ I expect we will be back around the 3p mark by the begining of May , but the Year end could prove to be very exciting !
VGLA All Investors !
I got in at 2.13. I held it through the 3p and the drop mainly as I felt it wouldn't do eq any good if everyone was selling the high. Unsure about that decision right now but that is my problem to figure out. I believe eq will soar and become a fantastic turning point in the world energy/waste crisis that is ever growing. Just sitting here after a long week hoping...
Nice post slappy. Same here. I got in at 0.5p kept adding.
It's been hard watching a 50% drop from 3p, same with PHE.
Regarding the RNS, too be fair they have released some positive updates.. Just not the full financial close we was expecting.
It's going to be a hard few weeks, I tried to trade this in the 0.4p to 0.7p range... FAILED BIG TIME and not sold a single share since. So not going to start now.
Newboy
with all these warrants still outstanding ,does this mean they cannot be used until share price hits 2.2p?
also seems an awfully large ammount. Might this supress the share price somewhat. Regards
Good Post Slappy. Keep the faith.
Nice post Slappy, totally agree. I've done the same, getting started at 0.5 & adding now & again, including today. Better days ahead.
Market cap £109m; has lots of potential upside from here one would assume. But this is AIM and the past 2 years have been a roller coaster. Its in a better place now and with Energy Waste Treatment Facilities in the pipeline brighter days ahead.
This is a 35% drop since the high of 2.30 on the 9th Feb, this should be the correction over now but might fall to 40%. Usually the correction is around 20% but given the market and the whole Green sector taking a hit with have nearly hit the top end of 40% correction - not good but so many have invested in Green in the last couple of months just got over heated - should pick up again next week - imo.
I bought in at 0.48 a small £200 worth, i now hold 2.25 mill shares due to topping each time and now average at 2.20 so taken a 32% hit a massive lost for me - but i can honestly say i have not sold 1 share. We tend to think when it goes up it keeps going and i am one to think the same and then the bubble pop and we realise that's not the reality, that said GREEN market is a reality and something the world is taking note of and this market will not only flourish it will hit new highs that we thought no way this will happen.
I say good luck to those that have cashed in that's part of the game some may have just paid off their mortgage, got the nice car they were dreaming of - well done to you - but remember if you are looking long term and want the extra zeros in your bank balance then hang on this will come and i don't think you will have to wait that long - imo.
We do lack RNS's, but remember one thing, the longer we are waiting means when they come they won't be drip fed and more like one after the other, ETQ won't even get the chance to breath on the way up, so hold your breath there is a very strong wind north coming up soon - those that have not sold like myself will be big winners for having the balls and stamina to stick it out .
one minute it looks great guns, leading the waste to energy revolution, next thing..
Jan -10%
Feb -20%
Mar -20% and we are only a few days in....
the trend is not our friend here, but it's ok they have sorted out the directors, fck the shareholders,,,,
Going forward, all executive Directors and employees will be on standardised LTIP structures and the LTIP is the Company's sole, long-term incentive programme. There will be no further issues of warrants under the employee incentive warrant programme announced on 31 March 2020, whereby the Directors were issued with, in aggregate, 472,725,148 warrants to subscribe for new Ordinary Shares from a March 2020 warrant pool of 590,906,437. The Company has a total of 658,210,979 employee related warrants and options outstanding.
I seem to remember some poor sod in Germany paid 1.20€ for afc. Dunno why I'm telling you this.
Exactly my feelings when it drops, I was in Afc, average at 32p, watched it fly upto about 85ish everyone on that board was talking 100p+ and much higher, it dropped i watched my profit slowly start to evaporate. Sold the lot at 72ish. Then it blipped up again, now it is where it is.
I'm in 5 different sectors, this, media, mining, and graphene, and another for a larf (icon) see where it takes me they're all down, I'm approx 25% in the red. Not bothered, this is just the market doing what it does, now and again. Hold the line.
Cornishpixie, I tend to prefer it when my investments have doubled in price recently and my only decision is whether to topslice or sell the lot ...
@markrops - just so, I often feel more relaxed when things are dropping, only really faced with the decision about whether to invest more. Naturally, I prefer to see my investments on the up, but if you have faith in your choices then you just have to sit out the drops and take the odd one on the chin
Strange as it may sound I find it calmer holding when down than up. When down you got no option than just wait it out (unless you like selling at a loss), when up though you got the whole timing thing and concerns if it dips, seeing your profit go down etc. Emotions come into play more.
For Eqtec I dont plan on selling for at least 3 years so even when up not to fussed but for shorter term trades, above applies.
Hi Green. It’s bloody annoying being underwater. Very hard to make the correct decision about what to do. We all got carried away in the green rise frenzy which started in December for most stocks. Now it’s pulling back. And they even dropped after the positive green news on Wednesday, clearly it was all priced in. The market was well ahead of us as usual.
And the s h 1 t show in the US doesn’t help either. How can the markets be above pre covid levels, it’s complete madness. And of course the CC. Although it must mean we have something amazing if aries are claiming it as their idea. One would presume anyway.
I keep reminding myself of the rise on afc with the partnership with abb. That could be us with a wood deal. And plenty more happening too.
Good luck to all genuine long term investors.
Thanks JBS :). Been hit hard with an interest averaging 2.53 over the last month but fingers crossed for the medium term :) GLA
Hi Green. Sorry I don’t have a great story of holding since 4p + and eventually averaging down to 1p like a trading guru, haha. But I have been loosely watching it since 2017. I was just curious.
In 2019 I was buying at .17
No. Tell us the story JBS
Afternoon. Has anyone been in this since the 3 and 4p days?
