ENW were really quick to get the court decision For the license they just acquired
And, at the same time, no news on VAS license litigation for more than 1,5 Years
Something wrong here
Great update from JKX today. We’ll see how ENW performed in 3Q
Not sure what you mean Krok- In your opinion not worth holding ?
I know the gas price is depressed and the drilling takes a very long time and my biggest worry in the Ukraine.
But holding their own financially in a depressed market with organic growth and holding a war chest.
Great position to buy a company and for when gas re rates...
Very interested in your take as I remember you being vocal on this when it was in the 50's and I think you were on the Serica board.
In your opinion would you steer clear of gas producers ?
When do you think the gas price will rerate ? not just the winter blip ?
Thanks In anticipation.
But organic growth ,
Qalbabbass.
As krok says one more possible appeal layer available. If they've not lodged one by now, likely they aren't going to bother. But who knows?
krok.
Good to see you still thriving in adversity.
Qalbabbass, it was the Appeal Court, i.e. the 2nd instance court. The Supreme Court is the 3rd instance court and the final one
Ukrnafta now has one month to appeal to the Supreme Court
Butcoinbuyer, individual sentences make a lot of sense but overall you can’t see forest for the trees)) very vivid example of this)
The Supreme court has already judged in favour of Arkona. This is the main reason they won in this local court case.
Good post bitcoinbuyer.
I reckon the only reason the sp response is so muted is the possibility that Ukrnafta will appeal to the Supreme Court.
And since there's no mention of that in the RNS, Enwell clearly don't know.
One of the many problems with Ukrainian civil law is that it's codified, so there isn't as much case law precedent.
Hence there are more appeals on interpretation.
And so endeth my dissertation on the legal constitution of the Ukraine and its impact on disputed commercial activity.
But I'm with bitcoin; if you can stand the corruption and double dealing this is a share that might have real future value.
Once I's dotted and T's crossed this should recover nicely :) GLA
This is a very good rns. It will means the takeover is successful and the overall gas output will increase. So although gas prices are low, they will still increase turnover by selling more gas. If gas prices do go up, then it will be even better.
They need a good PR person, presentations etc to boost this share.
Morning Leisurely, 80% of these shares are held offshore.
There were 2 oligarchs bidding to take control.
One gave up and sold their holding for 29p
You will see that from looking through the historical RNS's
So all this movement is from just 20% of the free float shares.
Natural gas is depressed but winter is coming and its not as polluting as oil.
Its increasing its output with organic drilling of their current licences.
They are holding their own at the moment while many are losing lots of money.
My advice would be hold on and increase holdings at this price.
When gas prices turn a corner and so few free flowing shares it will move forward quickly .
I had some @ 50p a while back.
Less than cash holdings value at this price.
The more I think about it, talked myself into another purchase.
Holding so much cash , a further purchase or buyout should the right company licence become available.
All the best
This rns is good news. I just don’t get why there is no expression of pleasure on the outcome within the rns. I’ve re-read is a number of times just in case I’ve misinterpreted something.
