El006713
Just a thought but maybe the ones who are constantly here fretting, bemoaning the sp (but yet selling down) and badgering for updates should reach out and ask Craig?
Can only see us applying for them which isn’t an issues it’s the time frame before we get them to increase our foot print. Craig needs to give us a proper update asap I think. We still have lots of JV interest on our current holdings so I’m not worried one bit and we have multiple locations within each licence. Just feel like we have not been given the bigger picture and only due to PI’s own research our we find these things out.
Has anyone reached out to craig to ask ??
So what’s now confusing me if licence are taking years to be given the only one I cAn see which is status merit is EL007537
And all other new applications have not even been accepted yet I’m totally confused ? So when craig seems upbeat about our new licence they are still in the :yet to be accepted stage on the earth resources website that’s has been linked on this BB. Seem like iv been bluffed a tad by craig think long we are closer to expanding our foot print in Victoria. Seems like our applications are a lot further behind than I originally thought. Can someone share more positive light on this ??
Topcod - I have also wondered about how complete/accurate the lists are in the report. I also noted that they have a portal on their website which you can use to search/track the progress of licence applications. I don't know if anyone can register for and search that portal, but if I get a chance over the weekend, I will take a look.
** say I meant
I know I for one need to figure out the status’s day interpretation; so for example Merit, what does that mean? Sure it is all common sense but may send an email so they can tell how to read and interpret the info. No point guessing when money is invested.

Not sure how accurate this site is either or maybe it just does not list all applications if there are multiple one's, i.e.
EL007540 (outer Ballarat) clearly states that RRAL are the holder but on the POW RNS dated 17th March it states 3 applications (we are one of them) went in on the same day. This license has not been awarded to anyone yet.
The extract below is taken from the POW RNS and maybe that's what CB was referring (application with the greatest merit) to when he mentioned that we are actually a mining company who drill :-)
Balmaine Gold Pty Ltd, Mercator Gold Australia Pty Ltd, and Loddon Gold Pty Ltd have put in competing applications the same day as RRAL for the ground covered by EL007540. The application considered to have greatest merit will eventually be given priority.
EL006713 is the crucial one for me. It connects adjacent to the south of our existing license. This is the New Creswick one. The Dimocks main shale runs through it into our existing license. If we can secure this, I believe the JV can progress. The south Creswick license will be an added bonus too.
Interesting that “new Creswick” was submitted allied for in February 2018. Now 3 years on. This could still take some time but it’s out of the hands of the company. Very happy to hold.
BTW - there is no reason why our existing licence at Creswick will be mentioned in any ERR report, unless there has been an application to vary or renew it. From the ERR reports I have seen, I don't think there is an application to renew it.
No probs both. I recall hearing in the recent Stockbox interview CB saying that "we have 3 licence applications at Creswick and 3/4(?) licence applications at Baileston" or words to that effect. Details of all of these applications can be found on the Mercator Gold website. So that's all fine.
I've not been able to find all of these licence applications on the ERR reports I have looked at so far - the ones of interest to me are our existing Creswick Licence (EL006184) and the application for South Creswick (EL006907). Therefore, if anybody else has nothing better to do in lockdown during the weekend, and manages to locate them, do let us know please :-)
Glitter we are Mercator
Can’t see ECR On this at all ?
Thanks LW,
We are on the right track now...
AG, the info I provided was the near latest but no harm done as LW has provided the very latest information from what I see. Together we have proven that CB isn’t hiding anything!
I believed this information would be openly available to a point (in time) so that WE can scrutinise it for ourselves and make better informed decisions. Quite frankly I was becoming tired of negative sentiment which I felt was no reflection on ECR. Now it appears I have been proven right to hold happily but I will chase more facts for myself in future (it takes mere moments).
I really don’t see why worried holders should not follow this up with an email enquiry to the authorities relevant to our questions in the future. All to easy to do. What with dialling cards offering telephone calls to Aus from a penny a minute, You might call them up Monday! Tell them to get a wiggle on.
Anybody thinking of selling may wish to have done research before selling? Even better before buying... Just an idea. I know I should never have sold FAR. That really hurts lol. Happens to us all I guess.

Appreciate the reply, thanks.
AG1989 - you can find information about ERR role on their website. https://earthresources.vic.gov.au/
Essentially, amongst other things, they review licence applications, determine exploration/mining policy/issues, and will be the arm of the Victoria Govt that ECR will be dealing with here. One of their branches is: Earth Resources Economic Development, who I CB has already mentioned we are waiting to hear back from.
Good find BOJO2020. The latest ones for February 2021 are:
https://earthresources.vic.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0018/642330/Report-3-Licence-Applications-202102.pdf
https://earthresources.vic.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0020/642332/Report-4-Licence-Variations-202102.pdf
The first of these is for current licence applications, and the second one is for current applications to vary a licence. At a quick glance I can see the following:
-New Creswick (EL006713) - with a status of "yet to be accepted" (submitted on 20/02/18)
-Ballarat (EL007537) - with a status of "merit" (submitted on 2/11/20)
-Tambo North (EL007484) - with a status of accepted and at tenement administration stage.
I've only had very quick look at the last couple of months of reports, but so far I have not been able to find anything about our South Creswick licence application (EL6907) or any application to vary our existing licence at Creswick (EL006713).
Our licence applications are on the MGA website - don't know how up to date that website is though?
BOJO, are ERR the review board ? If anybody can clarify that with me I’d appreciate it.
Isn’t this from the 30 November too ? So it’s just with them a little longer now. That’s the application surrounding the Ballarat Mine if I’ve got that correct. ?
Been with ERR 22 days so not surprising we have not heard anything. Other applications listed yet to be accepted. And yes I did say applications which means the application pack! Doesn’t mean rejection. So this obviously takes time but I would like people to start discussing the available facts...
