Eco Toronto can always do an rns during business hours.
Times are probably nothing but coincidence.
They can always release an updated presentation that morning for all to view and it.provides some time to consider for questions in the evening.
Fair point
It's not after hours for the TSX
Re date: Doors 5:30 pm | Live 6.15 pm
This is after hours so Gil can release any interesting information (if there is any) and Tullow will cover same the next morning in the RNS and no one will have been ahead of the other with data release.
Tullows date of November 13th has been scheduled forever so maybe there’s nothing in the dating but coincidence .
Jimmy looks a bit small TBH. I'd rather they focussed on some of the bigger targets as we've barely scratched the surface of the CPR so far.
Going to pop in myself (ticket permitting); The timing of the briefing should be good for Eco news and opinion,
Interesting that the investors briefing date is Nov 12 and Tullow have a trading update scheduled for the next day.
Gil should be able to say, in an ideal world we will drill 4 wells next year. Our analysis indicates possibly, A,B,C,D (Jethro Channel, Jimmy, Malone and Kumakka). Current CPR indicates post Jethro and Joe results a resource base of x and revised CoS in the Tertairy of Y.
He should also be saying we believe Joe is X and Jethro is Y million barrels. Or talking to the specific factors that make Jethro particularly a stand out.
Now given 2bn barrels in the Tertiary and CoS likely being raised to 60% plus for these prospects that should lead to an interesting note from Berenberg on risked price.
Thanks for the heads up. I will pop along. Gil is pretty good at the PR side so will be interesting what he has to say.
I take the point re takeout price and current SP. My view is it is dangerous to leave a company undervalued for too long. Strike while sentiment is good and issue the CPR pre Carappa. An SP at 170/180 with further drilling plans to come is far better than 130s and 2 months of no news. In fact there will be some holders significantly under water who bought pre the Joe drill which was a success.. Not everyone has the capital to hold for years and the recent sell off is a reminder of that. Gla
I think Gil will be useful to talk to. Will certainly try to head along. Meant to be in London that night in any case. Would be great to do a 5pm RNS to really discuss some good news with investors but alas I cant see it.
If drilling 350ft (100m) or so a day Carapa should be in pay zone by then if it spudded last week. It is a simple jack up rig in shallow water. Not sure of drilling time that is possible on these.
So will an updated CPR be available ahead of this meeting or is it too soon
