Max, just a quick one a small bit of advice, stick some of your cash into gold and silver, it’s going to explode in this recession, have a look at the charts on bullion by post, if your interested ?
I can advise on some good “reputable” dealers at “good prices” and some sensible information resources, IF this is of any interest to you??
OB!
It's good to hear that you have taken the bull by the horns and are doing well!
Banks are meant to be a safe place to hold your money (upto FSCS limit).
Risk does equal reward!
Oh, and punt was on your joke about being a poor church mouse, lol!
Anyway nothing wrong with a two bed semi! Only bad thing is you can't get away from the Mrs, hahaha!
However, bet you go down to the beach and fish before popping to the pub for a couple of pints and a game or two of darts (probably on the pro circuit, lol).
Anyway, I have just spoken to Negan and he will do some digging as well .
I will tell you the same thing, 8 welcome input and to see what you have found (good, bad, ugly and fitt)!
Max, I will do...... by the way you have me all wrong, I’m a “not so small” dart throwing mouse, I live in a modest 2 bed semi in the sticks down mid south coast, the wife and I are savers and I’ve been a manual worker all my life, we have no debt, and I’m totally fed up with the pittance of interest you can make from the banks, so I’ve taken the bull by the horn and invested here and there, I’m not doing too bad for someone who left school at 15 and could barely read or write
I just wish I had learnt about investing in my 30’s, it should be taught at school, along with pensions and mortgages
Anyway take care :)
OB!
Without soundings like a ramp Masiu's previous post rings a lot of bells!
This is AIM but as mentioned before the partners are all multibillion pound company's!
This is a technology that I believe has come at the right time in history!
My little (not so poor church mouse),
Please do your research, bring it back and we can share and discuss!
I really think that someone is mopping up the shares in the background to give them options in regards to making a play for the company!
I think that news will be a matter of weeks and we could see a 4x current price before follow up news as there is a lot of news that will come out imo prior to year end.
I think that Deepmatter got Infochem for a song and this is why I think that the infochem people agreed to the price and tying up the shares for 18months, is because they know how this combined technology is a huge concept and a huge advance in science.
So, this is what I think, but let's see what your research finds and if you agree?
Good luck mate!
Max, just in your opinion, what do you think the timescales are for this to take off? Weeks, months or years
I am intrigued, all sounds very interesting....
OB! I have a couple of small kniggles with the other company where ass here we are waiting on big news (for instance) from Novartis.
There is also other news due and there are parties such as Astra and GSK and these are mentioned by name.
I also take comfort in the fact that the founder buys larges amounts of shares.
IP Group again have kept on buying and between the two there are many millions of shares.
I think that The Gruffulo is playing games for some reason, maybe helping a big boy buy in or a ***** extension, but someone is basically really trying to keep the price at this level.
I can only think that there is a play for the purchase of a large amount of shares buy a person(s)/entity and that is what's keeping us here.
I've seen similar patterns in other companies where large sophisticated investors wanted in.
A good example that comes to mind is when the French Burgess brothers bought a chunk of UKOG a few years ago.
Very similar pattern and what gave it away was the first TR-1 and then it was
out in the open!
Max, fair enough.... I did look at the graph here and I must admit it looks like it’s been fairly stable
I know what you mean with Val it could slip back before news, if the news is good 38-50p if it’s “we are doing well but need more time” then bang down to 6 p..... worth the gamble for me Though
I would have kept 1 leg in myself :)))
Bet it’s cooler up north? Been in the 30s here and it not pleasant, still the wine is cold :)
OB it was a risk!
The price went up over there before I could get money back there, but not going to chase it, because that share can just as easy go back!.
It will all be more than made up for here and all I need to do is put my ear buds in sit patiently while the train arrives!
Max - have you literally put all what you had invested in Val in here?
If you have? Your obviously not happy to be rich but are you aspiring to buy your on country? Lol
Ps I’ve had a little “cheeky” purchase :) I see it as an investment not for me but for the grand kids! You started talking Microsoft -Apple....This feeling came over me, FOMO ha ha
I’m still struggling to see why you pulled out and didn’t wait for the “vinegar strokes” as it were? :)))
Hi OB! That was the plan, but would be daft of me to do it today! There was no news this morning and think I would get spiked as there might be a retrace there.
On the other hand I find that Dee matter is revenue generating and a good pool of candidate partners and customers!
Will see how the next couple of days goes, but I may have missed that boat for now but certainly don't wanna miss this one!
.Good Luck OB, oh and there is a telegraph group that might be if benefit (actually two)
Max, good to hear from you, I will do a bit of research as this sounds very interesting
Just a thought, obviously this has massive potential and gains could be intergalactic, so why not just have a few k in here for long term and a few k on the dark side to catch the good news coming in sep? FYI I will hold on till £3 ;)
Take care
Ob
Hello OB, no I'm afraid not! I sold to come here but may have timed it wrong.
However, in saying that I think that #DMTR has more to gain at the moment and this is a technology company, that if it is what I think it is could be one of those investments that could change your life.
Based on what I understand this technology is a kin to what a smart phone was before it came out.
People didn't really know what to do with them besides download the crazy frog ringtone.
However, as 3G rolled around it really started to become clear, that smart phones were going to be huge!
Now, take that and look at what a technology that will allow scientists and chemists to create complex molecules (that can not be done at the moment) and then allow you to replicate that same exact molecule somewhere else in the world is incredible.
This could be like buying Microsoft in 1981, or Apple in the 1990's. If you want more recently think of what Amazon cost only 12 -13 years ago.
Imo this technology is so disruptive that we have no idea of what it will create and what industries it will spawn because they simply do not exist, yet!
All to be seen and really hope you did well mate over there!
MaxHspringer - here you are! please tell me you are still neck deep in Val? Not the same place without you old chap :)
