John117.. A ‘string indicator’ is usually the start of the process of the PI’s being collared and led by a piece of string over the top of a cliff on AIM. GLA.
Apologies John,
‘Strong indicator’
Trek
Trek, I do try to keep up with you. “String indicator” what is one of those please?
Ha sharcus!
I don’t think I will be going to acacia having reported them 3 times for blatant TR1 abuse once when they sold DDDD and didn’t post a TR1! Scum! And the MAR were a complete waste of time! Said it was likely a training issue and they’d work with them! They then repeated it twice on others stocks!
Anyways, point is ops here is sound, BoD is sound, finance is now looking good having clawed it’s way back with some great innovation.
With the impending news flow I think now is around a good a time to buy. May visit 60 again but looks like 80p is on. I will be putting my first tranche in next week and see how it goes.
If it then closes above 80 I think that’s a string indicator. Average in and average out with these stocks imo.
2022 could at last be the year of payback for all the millions invested here!

Trek
If Trek's accurate with his entry-exit bands he's the best trader that ever lived! Acacia should lure him in with a seductive package at once I say. As for his view on 4d's cashburn rate and bleak mid-term, I can confidently say that nothing could be further from the truth. The following few quarters are abundantly covered, and that's all the time we need for significant market impact and subsequent re-rating. GLA
Also referred to AVCT newbies?
No Trek is right I believe. I think it’s a good time to buy too, the loan facility means a raise should not be required.
What a strange post, you bagged and then says this can bag multiple again, but its cash hungry and thats why you sold. But then its now a good time to buy, even though its cash hungry. Contradiction no.1 but then 4d is the real deal. The bod are excellent, but then watch for a placing and a short position has been taken. So basically youve taken a short too, with some much news due youve taken quite the risk. And I short
Wtf first post since Thursday? Surely that’s a LSE glitch?....
To position I no longer hold here having sold at 170-190 from 40p but I still have 4D on my watchlist. Blautix/IBS and the MRX platform are realistic SP bags.
Thing is this was and still is cash hungry. That’s why I exited. I was premature with my investment here and was fortunate to do so well. I actually think now is a good time to buy!
The cash burn is something I reckon AVCT ‘newbies’ will soon find out - drug, therapeutic discovery etc is not cheap!
That’s why these companies regularly come to market - to raise money! So don’t be surprised when they do no matter how it’s dressed up!
Unfortunately PI’s often get locked in on the wrong side of a placement which favours the ii’s who risk bigger sums. They often then forward sell, sell, or even cover with a short sell into the market! It’s like an AIM legacy old boys deal for getting the cash! It’s endemic in pharma, O&G, mining, tech, media you name it. This market is not geared for PI ‘fodder’!.
It really is a PI sht sandwich! I genuinely feel for those PI’s who are often the ones that have backed the company through thick and thin and have been caught the wrong side of the ‘curve’.
As words of encouragement though I do think, well believe 4D are the real deal. Duncan has been awesome in his stewardship and the BoD are completely aligned with shareholders. The science will eventually deliver and the SP will follow.
Well I hope that explains my position. I am not a ramper or a deramper just a pragmatist.
Anyways here’s the data sorry no link as via email...
‘The level of disclosed Short Interest in DDDD has changed materially.
Short Interest has moved from 0.00% on the previous trading day to 0.50% today. That is a movement of 0.50 percentage points.
This data is taken from the FCA and comprises all disclosed short positions above the 0.5% reporting threshold requirement.”
Anyways it’s not that material but as it hasn’t been posted it gives me the chance to say hi!
Good luck with your investments
