"If I get tested and its recorded on the app, how long is it valid for, I could catch the virus 5 minutes after being tested."
Perhaps you need to learn more about vaccine's testing both antibody and antigen and you would understand, however in a nutshell.
If you catch Covid you are left with Antibodies in your blood that can be detected by a test,. There are various types of antibodies, plus T cells and various studies that have been done - only read the latest as most studies that were done initially have been debunked, either way the point is that if you have caught CV, then antibodies remain. Other than only one case worldwide (which was shown to be a different strain) no one has ever caught CV twice, this is key.
Therefore if you have an antibody test and you are found to have them, then if this can be securely registered into a secure record that you can use to prove to your employer, or airline or whoever need to know, that you have had CV and recovered, thus are unlikely to be a risk.
Antibody tests are are going to be required throughout the world and mass testing is going to start soon in the UK and worldwide, there will need to be a way of securely holding these test results and be able to recall them as required for proof. There is nothing more secure than an app that uses blockchain technology as its security defence and is already GDPR compliant, indeed everything that CTEA already has.
Agree on that point regarding vaccines, but that's more of their non covid centric apps. Cummings is keen on digital passports, but dont think he is too happy about the GDPR aspect, imagine he would want access to the data.
I think the non covid stuff they are doing will be the key. I can't see how the cov-id app would work in the real world. If I get tested and its recorded on the app, how long is it valid for, I could catch the virus 5 minutes after being tested.
We`ll see towards the end of this month as if there is good news it would normally emerge before the AGM. You still can`t answer the facts , that there`s been loads of interest and zero sold,. Perhaps you`re right it needs more development and when it hits it will go sky high. I think we are being misled though, thinking there`s a massive and revolutionary product here when there isn`t. Customers will be the evidence, not long to wait, either way.
I believe the only people laughing are those who sold at 6-7p. They are having trouble promoting the app as the world is moving on. Football have their own app and I'm pretty sure others are clues up as well. If there were buyers they would have come forward by now so buy and large the app must be too expensive.
So biglad, if you were a company worth 7 million, how quick would it take you to create a revolutionary app for a disease that has never existed, and thus no previous strategy to implement against governments that aren't sure of what to do yet?
You understand for a product to work it needs to be trialled thoroughly? BMW doesn't make a car and then just sell it, apple doesn't make an iPhone and market straight away to consumers. And they have significantly more resources.
People need to chill and realise that Guy and his board make a ton of money if they pull this off. So why would they not try to be? They don't care about your narrow minded thoughts, they are business leaders in a very difficult time. All will come well if you believe the product and the leadership.
Catenae Innovation PLC (AIM: CTEA), the AIM quoted provider of digital media and technology announces that the Notice of Annual General Meeting ("AGM") has been sent to shareholders.
A copy of the Notice of AGM is available on the Company's website.
The AGM will be held on Friday 25 September 2020 at 12 pm at the offices of Goodman Derrick LLP at 10 St Bride Street, London EC4A 4AD.
Given the current circumstances in relation to Covid-19, the board of directors of the Company has made the decision that the AGM will be held as a closed meeting as permitted by the provisions of the Corporate Insolvency and Governance Act 2020. This means that the AGM will be convened with the minimum quorum of shareholders (facilitated by the Company) to conduct the formal business of the AGM. As such, for the safety and security of all involved, shareholders and their proxies are unable to attend the AGM in person this year. Any Shareholder who attempts to attend the meeting in person will have to be refused entry. In light of this, you are strongly advised to appoint the Chairman of the meeting as your proxy to ensure that your vote is counted.
As a holder here there`s alot of wishful thinking here. Govt contracts, getting customers fast etc etc. The truth is this hasn`t moved for months because there are no customers. The CEO last time we heard from him that the had been loads of interest from a variety of customers. 2 months and now into the 3rd month, later nothing. Still piddling about at tiny hospitals in Newcastle and Botswana !!! FFS. Need a decent product, told it was ready for role out now back in development and customers. Neither look on the horizon soon and whats more , I don`t like the "there`s loads of interest" rubbish when there clearly isn`t and makes the whole thing look like the blockchain stuff they did years ago that turned into nothing. Punt money only I`m afraid.
NPH update expected within three weeks from 28th Aug ... AGM end of Sept .... Guy needs to give something with some real meat on the bone with some financial info to see how much this could be worth !!! Plenty of news flow yesterday within government on digital passport ID ..could CTEA get there foot in the door with this ...fingers crossed - GLA
