Thanks for the reply Wookie. Would you mind elaborating on your comment about "certain price actions" please? What is it that you are seeing? I am struggling to see something that I feel the need to be concerned about, so I welcome another perspective.
Personally what I am seeing is a huge jump in the past 2 weeks, follow by a correction/gap fill prior to the next move up. I've seen it hundreds if not thousands of times and I'm sure most people have. It is what happens in probably 90% of all shares which experience large jumps in a short period of time. Nothing can go up all of the time, regardless of how undervalued it may be, these things take time.
If this is genuinely continued selling of previous warrants / raise / placing due to better volume of late then it should fly when done for sure. But we’ve been saying that for 6 months.
Haven’t read all the posts but considering we is RED, I am sure the saviours are out in force.
Just look at the facts, how can a company be valued multiple times then us that are HOPING to find LESS oil then us.
Relax - it’s just warrants/old placement shares, notice that as soon as they are sold they are being mopped up!
All last transactions in the end of the day everyday was a placing of new 30mln shares. Once its finished price will skyrocket
When is the CPR due?
Tomorrow?, next week?, next month?
Yesterday, I read here that it is expected in March?
Have the company given a timeline?
IMHO this retrace is simply due to there being uncertainty as to the timing of the next piece of information, following a steep rise and also that there are other competing shares in the same sector who anticipate transformational news. You can blame all sorts of things including MMs, placing rumour, etc, etc, but the simple fact is that people are more than likely simply taking profit ahead of the next information leg up.
This is copl, that means 20s are coming. Value and oil finds and oil price are meaningless when it comes to this share. Crazy one to be in and shows the corruption in the markets,.
@Rammer, no I didn't say ANYONE that has a slightly negative thing to say I was responding to WOF's post where he asked;
"I'm also seeing alot of people suggesting placings, those same people, only a week or so ago were suggesting a share price north of £5.00, so I direct a question towards those"
I was explaining that there are a number of people that fit exactly the description I gave not that everyone fits the description that has negative positions. read the post and respond to what was said not what you decided to read it as......
"It's very simple, most are not long term holders" MOST being the operative word.
Current production 2000b/d ?
Crude $85.65 live.
1.9bn bbls value?
Another top on NT 31.40p, roll on upwards
Noob67, I've been trading AIM since 2009, I think I recognise the changing patterns of trading and the changes in how fear is used to create volatility and that a wait of even a month is now too long for most.
I don't give a hoot about anyone's average or how long they have been here, time served on a BB makes you no more valid, gives no more integrity or proves ones honesty .
I know what I see and say it as I see it, if you don't like it, put me on ignore then you'll never need to read it.
Stas, what an absurd thing to say. So anyone with a slightly negative comment or view is a waster, child or not intelligent- Ridiculous comments. You do not know who anyone really is on here and you categorise people who have a differing opinion as some sort of lesser beings, terrible human.
Thats another fav line they are traders. You Could try to look at the real problem. Sp is down around 20% since relist and thats with one of the biggest finds onshore in recent times.Arthur might be nearly falling off his chair with that but for me i need to see it in my PF and thats showing a loss after 24 months so no chance me falling of my chair yet
Wise old fool last few sessions I’ve just been commenting on the now not the when etc that’s all. It’s becUse I’ve been here for a long time that my whiskers twitch when I see certain price actions. That’s all. I fully see the potential and why I’m invested here pre Atomic.
Nothing sinister nothing odd. Just comment along the way.
I was upset last time we got lied to our faces so probably a bit more weary than newer investors that’s all.
Don’t mean anything buy it. I like this bb.
I want this to be £10 a share as much as the next man trust me. I just like to understand all matters concerning my investments good or bad so I can try and make the right choices. Simple as that really. Mean no harm to anyone.
Good annoledgy sta.
Same as someone watching the fruit machines.!!!!!
No problem with accretive placing , it the poor way he has done it for
the past year on the back of SUCCESS , that is the gripe for many
Has never let the share flourish from that success , before screwing it backwards
can give many examples of other ceo's like Lenigas many and even moved over
to Lithium and took what is now KDNC from 0.04 to 1.25p and made multiple
placings, pumping their own share and expectations all the way
Arty's version , have more than Leni did , keep it to himself , stomp on the
share and keep it static for a year, which still continues.
Made a big deal of getting rid of worst of the worst finance death spiral YA
then goes back to the same old well , wonga lenders several more times
with seeming to finally moving in the right direction , then goes and places
at 20p when the previous raise was at 32p
Its his methodology that sucks beyond belief , with a successful growing
Main Market PRODUCTION company , not a rainbow chasing exploration
zero revenues , zero production aim share that has to SURVIVE on such
funding options
;((
WOF
It's very simple, most are not long term holders, the stock market, in particular AIM or the general small caps have become like the pandemics amusement arcades of the 70's English seafront.
These children (with a bit of cash in their pockets thanks to credit cards and T+20 trading), hang around popular shares, like they are waiting for the old man to move along from the penny shove machine, so they can swoop in and take out the big pile teetering on the edge whilst they get their change.
They are traders, nothing more, not skilled, don't understand the systems or the analytical charts, so they try whatever they can to tip the balance in their favour, that favourite is fear. Recognise the buzz words, placing, dilution, bring up past failing, catch onto negatives to get in cheap, then join the clan to ramp, until they sell having just 'Realised' the dangers. Or to maintain the analogy, let the old man back to the penny shove to build up the edge again.
Mostly they are wasters who think they have an 'intellectual' system however, there is nothing intellectual about using instilled fear to gain an edge. You just have to recognise it for what it is, its not going to change.
That's why value investors don't give a f to a board spammers/daytraders... my dead grandma would be calling it right many times if she was throwing post on this scale...
Only searching for a relevant news and data... if p happens so be it where the value exist, only affects you are in for short term ride... just remember the scale of the poo in the ground in Copl lands and relax for a year or so. Monster share price correction incoming throughout the summer I suspect...
Wookie your posts seem to have turned a little negative recently. I'm pretty sure I've seen your name around here for a long while and thus expected you to be a LTH, can I ask why you hold so much concern over daily SP movements?
If you're a long then it would be ridiculous to be concerned about daily fluctuations in SP. Longs know the worth and longs know that fair value always comes out eventually.
I'm also seeing alot of people suggesting placings, those same people, only a week or so ago were suggesting a share price north of £5.00, so I direct a question towards those -
If we were diluted 20% you would expect share price to reach £4.00 instead of £5.00. So are you not happy with a return of 10-12x? How many multibags do you guys require to be comfortable with your investment?
People bemuse me.
“He could of said that he was looking at JV, farm out, etc. but nothing and now a mysterious overhang that has dropped the SP from 40p to 32....”
He did tell us that internal resources would fund the initial 4 wells until a full field evaluation was completed. It would be my understanding that if the circumstances allow (top end flow rates) from initial wells then he’d likely try and go it alone and fund a few at a time. If that’s the case then I think the CUDA deal is even more important and might have no other options than to come back to market to secure. I’d have no issues with this
COPL currently estimates the total reservoir volume of the discovery to be 1.5 billion to 1.9 billion Bbl. of Oil in Place ("OIP"), of which 1.275 billion to 1.64 billion Bbl. of OIP underlays COPL lands
-- Production has already commenced from the Dakota Fm, the lowermost reservoir sand in the BFU 14-30VF discovery well (100% WI) at 100-120 Bbl. oil/d
Tii, why make a 10 bag if you can make a 12 bag with it dropping?!
It is not de-ramping saying Placing (yes no use of P to soften it, not in harry Potter here, 'He who must not be named'), it is experience and reading the trading pattern and comparing to previous when these things happened, that is all the science there needs to be for making an assumption that there is a possible placing. No matter how often we have read in an RNS or heard Art saying it won't happen there are other means, it is usually what happens. Like a football manager being given the vote of confidence to then being P45'd the next week. It cannot be ruled out given the sate of how this is being traded, all opinion by others and welcomed. No worse than people who say £24 quid a share when we cannot even break 40p properly.
Prospects here where good before the 2 new discoveries
Shannon production , initial target 5000 bopd , then across Cole Creek and BFU
many wells and up to 15,000 bopd
Now left behind by the potential of Horizontal wells at 2000bopd in the Dakota
and Frontier formations , some in the are much higher than 2000 GLA
;))
So a 1.9bn barrel new discovery is a nice to have but when you have it it means nothing?
Even if it was remote and hard to get to it would be valuable never mind that it is already coming to surface freely without stimulation and tapped into production lines.
The bonus is this well wasnt designed for production but rather than plugging it they are capitalising on it whilst the next phase begins.
With you there Wookie. Freedom of speech and sharing perspectives without being jumped on is how this bb typically rolls. There is no one version of truth so anyone, steaming in to shut you down is more than likely to have their own agenda. Fact is this is and has fallen - considering why is only natural - just keep posting each individual can decide who and what they listen to. I and other really don’t need help on that...
Absolutely Wookie, yes its low (but still almost 10x at this level), but its very frustrating watching this drop constatly for no reason when this should be 40's if not 50's at least by now.
I don't get why pi's and seems ii are selling knowing what we have, some people need to think outside the box a bit, think of the bigger picture, why sell to gain an extra few pence drop later, when if some one is sniffing around to buy COPL and missing out one the biggest opportunities to make at least 10x your investment, just doesn't make sense to me. Some are just so fickle.
