Will pass September total box office this weekend, halfway through month.
Time and content starting to return the industry to where it needs to be :-)
Last Duel just advertised on TV.
Also would like to appreciate the posts from Bonkers & FI too. Have a good weekend guys.
Great contributions from several others too HNS77, RM722, MoneyP1t, PW, BlueBuxton, Antmoss, A18, TS and others too.
Plumber95, where are you mate? Didn't hear from you this week. Don't worry about Cruis1, he is learning to post some positive articles too!
We all need to just stay united and keep the trolls off the CINE BB. I didn't read a single post from the Pole. Not worth reading.
Hold onto your shares......switch off your monitor and use the force.....As they say......then we will move into the 70s/80s.....
Although total shares in issue is more than 1billion, I see that free float for CINE is around 590M shares so any shares loaned to short are within the free float.
So a short increase by 0.49% is approx 3M shares.
Total volume(Buy/Sell) is around 5M-6M shares today and is similar since last few days.
Even though the total percentage is now above 9%. Short increase was yday and probably they took position earlier than yday but still with over 9%, we touched 69p yday and today.
You can see that not one is adventuring to increase their shorts massively by 3% and 6% or more since last 6 months because they too knew that the headwinds that CINE is facing is only for short term and they don't want to get burnt by increasing their short in bigger percentages. My guess is that they are trying to play the uncertainty with small pocket change. As long as we don't give up our shares for the tricks being played, we should be good.
Once this court case is out of our way with minimal damage, we shall be flying. Market just cannot ignore the positive outcome of the court case if it lands in our favour and folks who watched can see which way the outcome should land. You don't need to be a lawyer to understand it. Of course, the final outcome is still yet to conclude but am not selling anything until I make a profit.
Wish you all a very good weekend! Thanks again for all your contributions and you know who my fav is :-) Yes, right LPD and next inline is Mountainous :-) Keep smiling all.
Any LTH making money on the this volitile stock? I'm thinking of trying a bit of day trading with it. Buying dips and selling peaks could be quite a nice earner here. Let the shorters make me some money for a change.
Walshy!
Well said Washy.......90s here we come......hold hold hold
I just saw Venom 3D totally lazy use of CGI and story wrapped up far too quickly at the end I thought. Not too many in the large screen but maybe because it was 3D which seems to be fading off nowadays, but there is a lot outside the cinema so hopefully customers coming in or out of other films. Just going into Last Duel hope thats better! :-)
Not the best end to the week , but we dust down and fight another week come Monday.
Looking forward to the numbers coming out for the 3 films this weekend , will hopefully boost our s.p next week finger crossed. We certainly deserve it
Cineworld sold nearly a million more shares then brought today jist over 5 million traded in total over nearly 1900 transactions. On contrast everyman had a total of 16 trades with not a single share brought. That might be another reason why it was static today, plus the m.ms having fun of course over here , which I have a feeling will go on for a while yet , (damn you m.m)
To all those watching a new movie the weekend hope you have a good time , and I wish you all a very pleasant weekend.
Massive low volume manipulation going on here.......Cine will fly high very soon! They can't keep it up when demand is so high and when the tables turn whoosh, 80/90p easy!
With c. Half of their short opened at c. 240p then this roughly doubling at high 60's they will sit pretty relaxed for some time should they choose.
Afternoon small trader, yes a volume level under 4 Million by 4.30p.m. despite a 2.75% Drop and EMAN's share price stays static. Says it all really. People I think have switched off from the games being played and know the share price should be much higher off Bond and the improving Box Office and what is coming until year end. I also think, having been able to see the court case, people are not in the dark and can make their own informed decision, irrespective of the way people wish to play the share price.
Plus side is that it is now the weekend and time for family leisure and enjoyment for most.
3 new good films out there this weekend to supplement Bond.
The trailers might whet your appetite into attending and doing a bit of your own research independent of the share price.
Venom - Let there be Carnage. (Marvel) Theres a chance Tom Hardy might be the next Bond.

It's the first 2 for me.
Enjoy the movies and enjoy the popcorn and support your local cinemas.
Bear - looking at the date they were increased it’s clear there must be some cooperation between themselves, a steady downward pressure. Dirty dirty pigs
Is see shorts have increased again! With low vol and now this
GLG Partners LP 0.89% 0.42% 14 Oct 2021
Total 9.18%
Trouble is there's no volume, no ones selling and no ones buying so can be pulled about either way.
I've said it before if they put the sp high enough there's plenty who will sell.
are trying their best to shake investors to grab our shares. Absolutely no reason for this to go down by over 2%.
Not selling a bean. Just need a big increased holding RNS like the Polaris one before close. Remember it was released on few friday's before and the following week, we started the journey to 80s. Wishing for a repeat like that!
Could end blue today! let's see...
