Bristol Cineworld Shut30 Sep 2020 10:22
It seems that it is just not viable to keep screens open in Bristol. I'm suspecting there will be others.

What a shatty post, you do know that there are a few Cineworlds that have never re-opened?
Remains shut, what did you miss?
Let me read between the lines for you with my non-rosy glasses:
It says: we are busy and the screens are empty - we're trying to entice you back and have reduced the price because nothing else is working.
Exactly. Open for business and money will come in and build up as more and more global cinemas open up.
Just dont get why people cant seen this is just mm games. Last update was ok, expected as we only had a month or so of openings but these will increase, cashflow will increase, and the future is bright like it was before. No problems here. Shorters just need to leave us alone.
Cinema is a very good business. Cineworld has always been profitable. Banks are fully supportive of Cineworld as they want to keep making big money from this money making machine.
Like everything else, we will all start going back to the cinema soon enough. The big films start in November, a few weeks away.
We should have 80% of all cinemas up and running by then, maybe 90%.
H1 results were always going to be awful, as cinemas were closed. No surprise there.
Cineworld is now open and trading is encouraging. It will take a few months to be firing back on all cylinders.
Why sell now when we starting to recover and all cinemas nearly open.
Don't let the derampers make you lose your hard earned cash by selling at these ridiculously low levels.
Imo. DYOR.Gl All.

Just got this email from CINE which is encouraging knowing that they are offerings deals to get customers back in:
“With the recent changes in government restrictions, we wanted to get in touch to assure you that Cineworld remains open. We are observing national and local restrictions as required; for a reminder of our Safety Measures click here.
Be sure to follow advice of local authorities in regards to general COVID restrictions, and stay up to date with what’s happening at your local Cineworld by following their local Facebook page. Find your local Facebook page here.
And with half term coming up, it’s a great time to plan your next visit with the little ones. Child tickets are now just £5 across all cinemas*, meaning you can get our Family Ticket for four – where adults pay kids’ prices – for just £20*!”
