Johnson confirms that pubs and restaurants in England will have a curfew from Thursday, needing to shut up shop by 22:00 BST (21:00 GMT), and table service will be required. Not seen anything about Cinemas , as yet.
New rules DO unfortunately impact cinemas, last film needs to finish by 10pm
I have been in meetings all day so haven’t yet had a chance to listen to Borris’ statements. However, this seems like excellent news for Cine. It’s about time we had some good news. Let’s hope this positive sentiment continues through results day Thursday! I’m really glad for all the loyal investors who are holding their nerve and haven’t been scared into giving up their holding. I really hope Thursday continues to reward you guys.
Restrictions could be in place for 6 months. Seems the action is to take as much pressure of the NHS over winter and until a vaccine/s are available. Lets see what the US will do and will Mr Trump be pushing for an even earlier vaccine !
Follow Boris Johnsons tips...
Wash your hands
Wear face masks when needed
Go to see a lot of movies at Cineworld Cinema's
I’m not a fan but nicely done Boris.
It indeed sound's reassuring what Boris Johnson is telling us live. Higher fines will hopefully force people to follow the necessary social distincing.
Cinema's will stay open so that's that!!
No general lockdown wanted.
Good news for Cineworld
Sorry De-rampers !!
Just listened to Boris. As expected. Cinemas remain open
