Looks the the USA sell-off has begun this afternoon with the S&P closed tomorrow due to the holidays which may be the slight drop from today's highs with people not wanting to hold over a 3 day weekend despite cine trading on the LSE. Might be completely irrelevant...
I'm game
It would be great if we could keep this board on-topic and refrain from personal attacks.
Thanks, all.
Correction 67p
I think we can all agree with that the board is a better place when it's not Investroid vs whoever else having a go at on another. Informative posts can actually slip through the net because the board just gets cluttered by way of constant pitching.
Yes, some of it he brings on himself (bragging about supposed wealth to a room full of internet strangers IS bizarre), but I would have to ask the respondents - why does it get to you so much? Personally, I don't come on here for a good chin wag.
Trust me I'm definitely not another account of investroids, his posts and information are extremely useful but there's no need to brag about profits and make unnecessary remarks to people with smaller positions. I've been hovering in here for a while and thought I'd make an account as I increase my sizing on this share.
My two cents is this has further to fall before a rise due to case counts which will be increasing over the next few days in the USA towards 100,000 daily, and we are still over 4 weeks away from reopen so the volatility will continue for sure. I see a red week across indexes next week which could drive this share lower. However long term any position under £1 I personally see profit being made! I'm currently sitting above 75p average and am looking to top up the further if it falls. I can see this going back down to mid 50's before another rise up and this is where I'm personally looking to strengthen my position.
Personally for me here I brought 4k at 59p sold at 6k put 2k back in at 86p. Today I brought 6k at 69p
The SP has risen handsomely today yet I remain a bear...for now....
Many celebratory posts today due to the rise were directed at me, attempting to rub it in my face, as though I've lost something or am phased by it. Sure it would have been good to make some money today but I didn't lose anything. I have my strategy and I am sticking with it. Not sure why being a bear draws so much vitriol. Not like I, an average PI, can influence this giant FTSE share.
The likes of Nardniles with his "God!!! It's annoying" thread and Dreammachine with his "Does our friend" post, WingingItSince92, the third cheerleader, and finally zoro9791 showing their hate, trying to bait me into some kind of response, then gang up on me as though I'm the bad guy for having a bear position. Get a grip.
Others such as Bovey and Hosai joining in with the "fun".
How many of you clowns are there?
I believe I said early this week that I would hold out until July 4th to re-evaluate, whilst monitoring the US Covid-19 situation.
I've given my justifications. I stick to this whilst maintaining my bearish views until the US situation improves.
How about you try and grow up, having a sensible discussion with alternate views rather than grouped up cheap shots.
Until then, I can deal with you conspiracy theory, jealous hating nut jobs. Still laughing all the way to the bank.
Haters gonna hate.
I agree with all You say Mbugden, apart from end result. Both/all is to make money
That's problem tho we don't all want same result. Hence certain peeps talk price down to get there entry etc. Others ramp to get there exit. Trust no one but your research and instincts.
8 mil sells v 5 mil buys and we move up nicely. Good day today
Well said Westwood, as You say we all want the same end result and all relevant info positive or negative helps us all ultimately make our own decisions.
Now that IS true!
We'll all be friends again at the top when we're all making money. There is bound to be some negative news out there at the moment because some US states dropped the ball and it's not what we're used to seeing from America, I wouldn't bet against them though.
Over the next few weeks we'll start to see some positive changes in the virus over there reduced infection rates and the like and just how this sp tanked on the bad news, it will rise on the good. Just have faith, be patient and keep your ear to the ground for anything serious that does require you to take action otherwise it's just riding the waves my friends.
While that may be technically possible, paranoia usually ends up...
No need to spell it out.
Zoro even though I understand you are not a fan of investroid I don't believe he is creating fake accounts.. no-one is that crazy!
Getting silly now.
Should we all start the 'I'm Spartacus' just to make the point?
Called it before you even posted it.
Bunch of conspiracy theory, jealous, heateful nutjobs.
Careful @westwood747, they'll think you're me with another account. One of presumably hundreds I've created so far..allegedly.
Best you stay out of it and leave the hate to be directed at me. I can handle these clowns.
Jealousy will have you trolling someone you should be learning from...
I am averaged much higher than the current price due to FOMO which has been a huge learning curve, however the constant bickering in here is pathetic. Despite currently being in the red I'm finding Investroids viewpoint extremely helpful as well as everyone else's posts in understanding the current situation in the US. I'm sure we are all here trying to make a profit and just because someone's viewpoint doesn't align in your profit making doesn't make it untrue or a personal attack... have an open mind and you might be more profitable long term. For those who post for the benefit of the group to improve and understand, keep up the great work.
