Unfortunately the sentiment is so rotten here that it will be hard to shift the SP. No PR is bad PR.
If we had a smooth Handover of CEO I’m sure we would be at least in the mid 2’s.
Only a Super Major can take on a deep water development like Lixus and we know they are all hibernating until 2021 at least so need patience here I think. Activity in Namibia is likely to drive the SP in the mid term.
I know it’s only August but I did comment that we may not see any progress this year. From the outside it looks like there’s a bunch of headless chickens taking over from fat Larry. Is Lixus a POS? The other “assets” appear to be non started for the long term if ever.
Some people are just too sensitive, I guess...
Growl’, something along the lines of him being a rubbish accountant if he couldn’t understand how Chariot were presenting losses and yearly cash burn. Nowt serious like.... :0(
I reckon all concerned have printed PM’s email and have made paper aeroplanes from them. See how many can can get them in the bins in the first attempt.
Haven’t you been unblocked??!! Goon and I have. Whatever did you say to him??
At one share = one vote, ten shares = ten votes, I can’t see any reason why they’ll be perturbed by a mob of disgruntled pi’s. They’ll have enough votes purely based on what’s held around the boardroom table.
I’m trying not to be pessimistic too soon. I’ll give the new executive structure until Christmas. It can’t get any worse until then. Well, not unless the BoD’s go nuclear and fundraise £10m at 1.25p...
That could happen, not saying it will, just could. Tough times to be a Charioteer. Glad PM has seen the light, maybe he’ll unblock me know??? ;0)
I really hope that I get a response to my latest email, this is my first email since Larry's departure and if Adonis and the new Board members are serious about investor comms then they need to change their approach immediately. After sending 19 emails and receiving ZERO responses, I think I have a right to feel aggrieved.
Fair play to PM but how Patronising and condescending.
Let’s see if this rant will shake up the board for positive change.
(Emoji rolling eyes)
I sincerely hope you do get a reply as I have an embarrassing amount still invested here. It does seem though as if the wheels have fallen off. If Morocco was coming good, I very much doubt if Bottomley would have exited. As for shareholder comms, that’s been a company policy for a very long time and clearly not just a Bottomley thing. If we don’t see anything new at the AGM, this will probably confirm our worst fears; a lifestyle company with little hope of transformation. We live in hope. I’d rather live in certainty.
PM for er PM......spose he’s one of us now eh Goon??!! Disgruntled and pi55ed off LTH.
Good luck with a reply.

We need a CEO that has the drive, passion, enthusiasm, ability to listen and adapt to situations quickly, learn and be excited about the company. The new CEO needs to be able to build relationships and gain trust in their ability to create transformational value, they need to build bridges with shareholders as a priority. I’m sorry to say that Larry Bottomley lacked all of these characteristics needed to run the company. Personally, I’d like to see you put your hand up and admit your mistakes and learn from the past. There is no transparency and accountability within the company at the moment.
I’m contemplating whether to run a survey with shareholders to see whether they will vote to reappoint you and why. I’m busy not answering telephone calls and emails at work at the moment, I’ll see if I’m up to it in a couple of days.
Regards,

Dear Julian,
I’ve been trying to call the office on 0207 318 0450 but there’s no answer and I don’t have the email addresses of Adonis Pouroulis and Duncan Wallace, I’m hoping that you will forward this email on to them.
I was going to ask you for their email addresses but remembered that you’re giving me the silent treatment.
So Larry has been shown the door, what next at HQ? What changes can shareholders expect?
My emails and questions still remain unanswered, I hope that you may have reached out after my last email but clearly doesn’t bother you. I know that my line of questioning at investor calls, AGMs, emails and communication with third parties may have impacted your plans hence the reason for the dislike towards me. You have also been questioned by the authorities and other investors because of me, which you probably didn’t appreciate. I also keep mentioning that I think Richard Griffiths and Sprott probably sold at 20p+ and the rest of us were forced to take part in a raise at 13p – I believe that this statement is true and it annoys you when you’re asked to respond to this. You can carry this animosity towards me on but you need to understand why I’m reacting this way.
I see that the three of you are seeking re-election at the AGM:

Would you mind answering why I should vote in favour of the following?
• To reappoint Adonis Pouroulis, who retires by rotation, as a Director of the Company.
• To reappoint Julian Maurice-Williams, who was appointed since the last AGM, as a Director of the Company.
• To reappoint Duncan Wallace, who was appointed since the last AGM, as a Director of the Company.
Adonis – you insulted me, questioned my business acumen and were extremely discourteous to me when you responded to my email and then you ignored me after that. You made no attempt at getting to the bottom of my concerns and grievances and showed no empathy towards a fellow shareholder. I know you have a large interest in the company that you need to protect so let’s see how you plan to turn the company around but why should I vote in favour of reappointing you?
Julian you have been copied to the 18 emails that I have sent to the company since December 2019 but have not bothered to respond – why should I vote to appoint you on the board? Do you need someone’s permission to respond?
Duncan and Julian – you both worked under Larry for years and during this period you had a hand in destroying investor sentiment and shareholder value. What happened to destroy shareholder value over the last few years and who’s to blame? Surely can’t have been all Larry’s fault. What’s going to change now? What are you going to do differently than you did when you worked under Larry? I’d also like to know why it’s necessary to have you both on the board? Are one of you being lined up to become the next CE
