“Given the volume the last two days somebody maybe had some advance knowledge of the SV101 moving from SDX to Chariot.”
What good its done them and us for that matter 🤔
Great news that they have spudded.
Given the volume the last two days somebody maybe had some advance knowledge of the SV101 moving from SDX to Chariot.
Looking forward to this drill (and the next) adding to the existing vast resource and an exciting next four months or so.
I agree with you billy
Might this be the RNS to break the curse of finishing down on the day after receiving positive news 🤷♂️Fookin hope so 😉
Chariot may need the rig for longer if they have to sidetrack or for some other reason.
If i had a quid for every broker forecast that has proven correct i would be worth very little
“ The 5 analysts offering 12 month price targets for Chariot Ltd have a median target of 39.12, with a high estimate of 57.48 and a low estimate of 35.12. The median estimate represents a 335.59% increase from the last price of 8.98.
Let’s not forget we are drilling the big offshore prize in Q3. So close now and all coming together.
What I like about today's RNS is that they didn't try to fluff the market with too much info, no X of the rig being set up, no pre spud news. meaning like, the rig is moving to site and spud should be within the next week etc etc.
They put out today's news stating the rig has ALREADY spudded, and the geology is already well understood, along with land ops being far easier to keep the bit turning with minimal disruption.
I think they are happy to catch some of the market out asleep, long may that continue.
At long last! Hopefully the seller(s) is done now (will be interesting to monitor the large trades from hereon) and we can finally look forward to some steady and sustained share price growth! GLA
Duncan advised Loukos already has 100 bcf already now identified on the 3d with more to come. really not to be scoffed at that,…
Strong read through for other geologically linked prospects in the Gaufrette area with success potentially unlocking combined Best Estimate recoverable prospective resources of 26 Bcf
If my maths is correct 26 BCF is worth approx around half the market cap of Chariot ?
Would be a great find and could be producing in 6 months….
Imagine the belly aching on other BBs about industry delays. Wouldn't happen here .............
SOU are also saying they are next in line after Chariot i believe all timelines have slipped by at least 2-3 weeks already….
TB, PRD RNS'd that they were drilling MOU5 between 1st April and 31st May using the rig after us. It seems SDX held on to it longer than expected.
Clearly chariot could use the rig to perform a flow test but it’s at a much higher day rate, previous operators have flow tested after the rig has moved off location, got to wait and find out.
I believe there will be two wells drilled by chariot sequentially.
Note the large deep structure in the second well called Navette, which is suspect may be similar to the O sand offshore.
Jimmy
Yup ready to hit the ground running. expect some good moves on anticipation! this is a biggie
Wow. Thought it would say the rig is on the way, but SPUD!! Excellent!
Hi snott, when is the drill due to move on ?
Thanks for the quick response Jimmy. That doesn't give them a lot of time to drill Dartois before the drill is due to move on. Do Char have the option to extend until both wells are complete?
Hi jimmy,
why do you see a CTU for well testing , would they not conventionally perforate on wireline and do a DST ? CTU would only be needed for extensive cleanout and potentially Abrasi jet perfs would it not ?
I guess it will take 2 or 3 weeks to encounter the first target.
Drilling the deeper target may take another week if they have to change the mud system to avoid drilling problems encountered in the deeper reservoir at lnb 1 nearby.
I expect flow testing will occur after the rig has moved off location, using a coiled tubing system. I expect that will be within 1 or two months thereafter. Just a guess though.
Jimmy
Jimmy, how long do you think they will drill and test Gaufrette?
BACK TO 10P PLUS SURELY NOW!!
