Why do people care about divi yield? I only care about absolute value- as the cleared amounts yield only goes when you when sp goes down- the action is dire today...
Well done Tornado,
There needs to be some good news released supported by some credible proof that things are really improving!
For the past decade share holders have been given the same old promises of good times coming and now nobody believes them any more,!
Next divi. the inerim, should be in about six months - just keep an eye open for specifics nearer the time.
Can anyone advise me when you need to hold to qualify for the next dividend is? Thankyou
which in turn increases the Divi.. context perhaps needed.
£5 a year div could easily be wiped off by another 10% drop from here, which I think most likely will happen
Suffer.
so a 5p drop snd that's the divi gone ?
Nice £5k a year for me at that rate
If Horgan's production guidance is on target then Q2 production should be well north of 100,000oz - hitting mid-guidance numbers would indicate around 107000 for example. The Q2 AISC should be well down due to lower capex and more ounces. If I had any cash left I'd be piling in...
Looking like a sitting duck now.
Analyst consensus is 6.4c for FY22, about 5.1p sterling. Even if they're wrong and we get the 5c(4p) minimum. At 78p that's a 6.5% and 5.1% return respectively. Not quite double digit but a long way north of any savings account I can find

Always a bad indicator lower lows and lower highs , that'll need to change before I buy in.
hope so I can buy more nicely! but hey ho it is only a few p since I bought at 80 not worth averaging down at that.. if we get to 60 I will buy a load more
Opportunity knocks? Maybe another bite at the cherry before the US shenanigans tomorrow.
Market gone nuts, nigh on a double digit divi for a penny share. I'm happy to keep topping up. GLA
Chas. Sadly you are looking in the rearview mirror, with gold at these sorts of prices and falling, and costs they are even if they come down a bit, the dividend is likely to be substantially lower next year, hence a lower share price in my humble opinion tho should still be a decent yield on a much lower share price than previously
Old article too
New low
To double check if it was just market volatility. Hopefully they will get back to me. The GDX would have CEY at 82p as fair value on the general decline. This share is smashed up already and is trading at a fraction of its book value and also its fundamental valuation of gold reserves and resources in the ground.
1% short interest is hardly significant ... LOL ... click bait media that link. I'll take more at these levels and if it goes anywhere near 70p I'll empty my account into it .
Yeah same. Lots of buys there
Couldn't resist that at 77p...
Well the patient has certainly taken a turn for the worse. Someone is selling at these prices...
Fortune favours the brave, another buying order set to spring.
