@Amran. I watch this blog in the shadows as an investor of CBX. By reading your blog I understand that you are heavily invested with this company and sitting on a huge paper loss?
I take note of what you write and even followed your lead last week when you topped up, as I did also.
I’m also invested in MXC and HEMO
Following the SP trend I have taken a different view by selling half my holding raising my SP average! I'll buy back if it drops to 4p and lower down again!..................If I miss the bounce then I make less profit but Im still in the game!
@Amran - I'm not sure your advice of topping up at these levels makes a lot of sense!
It's very easy to make such statements but you never offer any substantiation to these rash claims. Here are a few examples of your previous pearls of wisdom...
2nd July SP at 8p "I believe we will get material news on CBX this month. Next week we should see 10p plus"
1st July SP 7.25p "I’m expecting 20p plus based on the news to come in July and august"
12th June SP 6.8p "I’m predicting 22p by September"
If you want to keep topping up then that's your choice but I'm not sure we need your advice based on your previous success with predicting where the SP is going.
dodge1029. The rush on CBX at IPO was nothing to do with investors belief in this company. It was all to do with people trying to make a quick buck. Sadly, it seems, a lot of PI's got their fingers burned.
The IPO for CBX was unlike any regular IPO. Normally PI's can't buy in ahead of the launch. This and the hysteria around anything cannabis related and the fact that DB has a few quid invested caused the ridiculous price jump at IPO.
SP now heading back to where it should be based on financials.
Hi Callit, CBX do not make CBD. They buy it in from Willow Biosciences, a Canadian company.
Until this has some kind of product or decent website, it'll keep dropping.
Imagine going onto Dragons' Den and looking for investment "yeah, so I have zero product, zero revenue and zero distribution channels!"...
News needed soon or this could keep dipping. Hope is not a strategy!
Callit - you need to research KNB (which I am also in). Their product is for medical use only as far as I know but CBD vaping is already being done.
@Gazzleberry Likewise my knowledge of cannabis smoking is very limited. I think you are right about the THC being the compound that gives the high. I wasn't really thinking about our CBD being for cannabis smokers though. I think they will continue to use the real stuff.
I saw an old friend visiting from OZ a while back and he was telling me how his brother loves to vape. He buys flavored vapes and likes the taste from what I gather.
I was wondering if adding the CBD would add an extra benefit. I'm not sure if there could ever be such a thing as a healthy vape? I assume it's less dangerous than smoking but it it turns out to be totally benign and can be used to provide pick-me-up supplements etc. Then it just seems like another method of delivery that could be popular.
Anyway it was just a passing thought and I'm sure the guys at CBX will be on top of all the alternatives. I just hope they do something soon so the SP reflects the potential here. GLA
I agree regards multiple uses and many ways in which consumers can ingest. Let’s just hope the team can start a slow release of news and updates over the next 6-12 months. Don’t really want the herd to arrive and spike more PI’s in the process. This is a good company, with a vast array of knowledge on the board. The product will speak for itself once it gets out there. Good luck all!!
@Windows - you need to look at CHILL
Interesting thought @Windows345.
With smoking becoming vaping I wonder if adding our lab made CBD would be a good move. I assume it can be delivered this way as that must be how people get it from smoking cannabis in the first place. If it doesn't exist already(I'm not a smoker) I'd think that a legal CBD infused vape could be quite popular. But what do I know.
I am Invested in this share & under water like every one else, BUT are we missing an opportunity here ?
Cannabis industries in all their forms are a new legal enterprise looking for a home, i feel they may have a natural fit with the tobacco industry
Everyone hates the tobacco companies as much as the oil companies, but they both have loads of cash & pay loads of dividends
They must be looking for a similar arena to tobacco they can transition into
Is Cannabis the saviour of the tobacco industry the same as renewable energy is the saviour of the oil industry ?
Therefore do we need to invest in the tobacco stocks along side the Cannabis stocks ?
Does anyone else share this view ?
I have never invested in tobacco stocks, any recommendations would be appreciated
cheers
