A PS to my previous post this morning: Based on today's interim 1H 2020 financial statements, we have more cash available than I anticipated by $2m and this excludes CERP cash reserves. I think it's a great time to be a BPC shareholder.
Starchild
It's difficult to take that BPC were first mentioned by Tom Bulford in the old Red Hot penny shares mag back in October 2009. A lot of water has flowed under the bridge since then. 11 years later there is a great opportunity for new investors. As always do your own research. A good start is reading the presentations as suggested by Starchild. There are some good people who post on this board, but as is the case on most of LSE it gets infected from time to time with low lives.
Good morning all
New investors: A number of you will be buying BPC shares this week based on recent news articles, after having undertaken your own research or having sought independent advice. Come and JOIN US on this BB. We’re quite a friendly bunch and will try and answer your questions. Note: we’re less friendly to the handful of posters who regularly bombard negativity to disrupt and for personal gain. Perhaps they shouldn’t have shorted this share or sold out at the wrong time. Why else would they behave in this way or spend time and energy spouting negativity for a share they own?
Potential new investors: The above applies, however as part of your research look back at some of the opinions on this BB. You are the judge and jury to decide which regular posters to trust by looking back at their commentary, especially what reasoning and proof they provide to back their arguments. To help you decide, start with the latest official company presentation here: https://d1ssu070pg2v9i.cloudfront.net/pex/bahamas/2020/08/19180949/BPC-Management-Presentation-August-2020.pdf
Why I invested: I have been a LTH since 2014 and looking forward to the next <100 days leading to the December spud. My family and I own millions of BPC shares and don’t care if the SP is 2,3 or 4p. Our rationale is simple: There is a 1 in 3 chance of a huge oil find by January, with 50% chance of a commercially viable discovery. If oil is found, there’s potentially a middle eastern size field(s) in BPC’s 100% licensed acreage in the region. To add cream to the cake, BPC has relatively low overheads, pays zero/zilch/nada corporation tax, and royalties to the Bahamas Government is 25%. Yet, if no oil is found, subject to a few years of patience, since August 2020 this bet is HEDGED by CERP’s future potential.
A challenge: If you or your professional advisors can identify ANY public company (or Casino!) with the above odds that fits a similar risk vs reward profile…..please please please do let us know.
All IMHO. Always DYOR……CONVICTION strong buy. Have a great day.
