Hi PageofCups - Ha ha - gone down very well I think! All very exciting: our BoD have done good securing the SIM and at a nice price. Yes, indeed, my tea leaves still show BHP on the horizon as a likely partner at some point - though I wonder if that is just me suffering from long-term-holder-itis and wishful thinking! Oh well, not long to go now....
Hi Yonny. How's the IceMAX gone down with BHP? What's the iced tea leaves telling you..?
GG
Thank you for joining us with excellent input.

I believe with the recent RNS of the confirmed drill date and the placement of Stena Icemax this has suddenly become a tantalising prospect at this price. The SP will surely be well above the current price come December. The chance of success is estimated at 30% - 35% but Oil analysts will rarely ever give a higher COS percentage. Pre-spud it should be at least 7p and I believe with a successful strike this could hit 30p. Interesting times ahead. If the SP falls back again I for one will be back in as it’s a no brainier. Worse case scenario it’s a total duster in which we will to rely on the Suriname assets and other oil fields which may take a few years to recover to today’s level but BPC does have other opportunities. Best case scenario we hit recoverable projected oil targets in P1, other fields in Bahamas produce oil, further oil discoveries in South America and suddenly majors become involved and SP rockets up. All scenarios are on the table but Fridays announcement surely adds weight to BPC as a future oil champion in central and a South America as Mr Potter has proclaimed publicly.
Brynjon. It's the weekend so I'm allowed a bit of diversion 'cos there isn't any BPC news thus far.
Monday should be good to focus on the real reason we are all here.
Glide - Without doubt there are moves afoot to create humanoids and there will be such creations already being trialled throughout the world.
A roll out of humanoids is a long way off - Westworld type imagination - I did admire the story in Yul Brynner times as well as the more recent series.
They would be very beneficial but prone to malfuncition like any automaton is. Until they are made otherwise they always will be but by then the requirement for humans would be in the annals of history. Why else would we think there is there such a fascination for travel to other planets?
These and many other topics of course are for a different forum.
The clock is ticking and oil is on my mind.
Brynjon..she claimed the creation of a non-human police force.
Have a look on YouTube for Boston Dynamics robots.
You can definitely see how Robots could easily be used for police and military purposes. Or dare we say manning drill rigs in inhospitable environments
Yonny - I also have my thoughts and will listen over again, but she lost me when she claimed the creation of a non-human police force.
IK - hope you have erected a motion sensor lighting system - look forward to meeting up with you and all in the not too distant future.
et al - I trust you are as excited as I am about our prospects with BPC. This coming week should be a little more interesting now that things have been settled as to the drill-ship allocated. We all need a little good luck and I hope things come through for us all. I would also hope the sovereign wealth fund does wonders for the indigenous folk of the Bahamas rather than only for the wealthy ex-pats living there.
All the very best of luck to everyone.
Yonny - cheers.
As mentioned previously - thinking about a private W/S to keep idiots out.
Watch this space ! Who said that recently?
Luv ya.

Guys - Off-topic but still relevant to us very long term BPC holders who fear we might be prevented from enjoying any success. For a Sunday morning viewing, this video is fascinating, worrying and worth watching all the way through. However please don't make any comment here as I don't want to be responsible for clogging up the board with non-BPC stuff. Just doing my duty as a free (for now) citizen, passing on info.
