Hmm maybe but would be surprised if that's the case as they had the opportunity to do so lower than where this is heading if someone does keep buying up. They'd need about 500,000 shares to get around the 5% mark, and that would send it rocketing up.
Results wise, excellent week for revenue. Car won was in the lower half cost wise, and only 3 of the top 10 played for cars were in the lower half cost wise. Onwards and upwards we go!
Sp continuing its upward path- am wondering if a hostile bid is coming from one of the previous suitors?
Great day for the holders. Last week was an ok week for the revenue - one of the highest value prizes was won, but it was also one of the most played for.
Doesn't seem to have huge value in terms of shares bought, but that these relatively small buys can affect the price so much to me implies there are not many shares in play. Mad how this has gone over the last 12-18 months though. Its a nice steady share to add, especially considering its on the AIM.
Just looked it up- on page 4 of share chat on this bb I was posting when sp was £2.75!
I had a decent entry point a few years back at about one tenth current price- so am happy with my holding. [On the day i predicted a fall, it did initially go down because the sale process stopped]. I still have half my initial holding but wish i had kept the lot - interested to see how this plays out. good luck.
@rws1 Thanks for the explanation on the RNS’s. I see we’ve had a couple more today. I guess a share split and increased activity would make the stock more ‘normal’ and these RNS’s less frequent and improve the bid-offer spread too? Not of great concern though if you’re in it for the long haul.
I’m certainly not in the top 10 but I am an II/PI. I’m currently in this for £6k and both my son’s have a holding too. We work together on our investments to cast our net wide and far.
I think the fact they’ve rejected all bids for the company is a very strong signal and as you say, shows this is not just a lockdown play.
@Tav Nothing wrong with wishful thinking as long as you had a decent position already. However, if you were looking for an entry point, then my condolences.
Good call Tav ;)
20 percent decline on the cards here imv today- we shall see.
Another week of main results, another mid-price win! Top selected prize was the most expensive, and 12 of the top 20 most popular cars were in the top 1/4 of priced tickets. Bit of a strange week SP wise, but happy with where we stand so far!
These RNS's are just standard if there has been a lot of buys or sells, the share is frozen for 5 minutes to allocate them at a reasonable price. I guess this is done to stop someone putting through a lot of buys mercilessly to ramp the price. the second one was just to give them more time to make sure all the trades are executed fairly.
personally I'd like to see a share split, i think the high price per share could be putting off some investors, so that would be my first hope. I came across this share basically by seeing a whole load more of their adverts on insta, and obviously yes i know once you click on one, you'll see it alot more. This said to me that they were massively increasing spend on advertising to increase their customer base, and then when the half year results came out vindicating that i got in.
Furthermore, they seem to be increasing their relationships with some of the more specialist car companies like ABT - to be able to offer the number 1 of a limited run must have taken quite some doing, but hopefully it shows that this isn't just a lockdown boredom share. I'd be interested to see the top 10 holders not on the BoD, see how many II's are in and for how much.
@rws1 thanks for the regular updates on prizes vs revenue.
What do these RNSs mean? Are they like price alerts for institutions/brokers?
Must admit, as soon as this dips below £25 I’m topping up myself. It probably will be the support line.
Obviously, this year was a one-off due to the transition to fully online and folk going out of their mind in lockdown turning to gambling but what are your views for the long term? Say 20% CAGR?
2 Price monitoring RNS's on the back of some strong buys after this morning's fall. Strong support around £25 by the looks of it.
Good week again revenue rise. Most expensive car per ticket was most played for. 9 of the top 20 cars played for were at the top end of the prize list. Winner took home a reasonably high priced car. Up £1 from last week.
FSP has been running longer than coronation street - will it ever end?
Good end to the week as well £26. Wonder if there will be a stock split to entice more buyers who may be put off by the high price per share and large spread we see
Car won this week in the main was a mid price prize, and 10th most played for. Top prize value was second most played for. Good week revenue wise
most played for prize was the most expensive. Hope they keep this going and increasing the revenue. Winner was roughly half way down the value list, so a nice bonus there
Good day all,
Finally took the plunge and joined, and really quite excited for the next 6-18 months to be fair. Did see that last week they had on their dream cars a new highest value prize, and a limited edition at that. Perhaps increasing relationships with certain manufacturers. Will wait to see today if that was in the most selected prizes.
