Kibo, KDR, AFREN, DAN.......had my fair share of punts that turned out to be utter duds. But hopefully this one turns out good. The difference was this wasn’t a punt like them, I genuinely believe in what they were doing pre COViD and it’s money well invested from my perspective just for the cause!
Yes had a punt on Sirius, Costain, Centrica, Fastjet , Finablr Polo res, Remember Monitise? ,and way back NMT,
Missed Durlacher tho,
Beat that list
cracked me up haha
Energyshares
I'm Using the book as a door stopper for the time being along with the laptop my employer has given me for working from home.

Look mate you need to throw away that best seller you have been reading, we all bought it, I burnt mine last year on the local bonfire.
“Investing with GLOBAL shares”
Get rid mate I thought it was about stock markets from different countries,
not some idiot on AIM.
Buy High Sell Low my arse.
That's a great attitude to have Sadiqbfd.
I actually suspect many of us (including me ) could tell similar stories to you (but we don't want to own up). Some get bitter others allow themselves to have a bit of a giggle about it.
Its much more difficult than it initially looks to make money on AIM.
So when you find a gem imo best to buy and hold.
PS - according to Autumn Watch last night Pine Martins love Custard Creams. Yum Yum!
Did you also have a punt on Sirius Minerals (SXX) Sadiqbfd?
Lol guys. Great responses. There was a time I allowed these losses to make me anxious. Fortunately I'm in a position now where I can laugh at myself and call myslef a numpty. You think it was gonna be a easy.....
Dear Sadiqbfd
Further to the previous response from my colleague PL 75 we have been made aware of a position that has recently been made available as lucky mascot for a Canadian company called Sona.
You appear perfectly qualified and we wish you every success.
;-) I’m sure you’ve picked a winner here
Pl75 lol
One of these days I will buy a share cheap and sell higher making a profit. Mark my words!
Hi Sadiqbfd,
Thank you for your application for the role of Awacta bulletin board lucky mascot. Unfortunately on this occasion your application has not been successful, we just felt that your previous experience didn’t fully align with the requirements for the position.
We’ve kept your details on file and if any other vacancies become available that you may be more suited to, such as a bad luck charm, we’ll get in touch.
Best wishes for the future.
Have made some poor decisions over the last few months such as not selling my Pmo shares at 50p when my average was 21p. Its now at 11p I think. I try not to look... The rest of my portfolio is red. Down about 60 percent or so. I'm hopeful and confident that avacta will put me back on track. I'm willing to wait however long it takes. Good luck all.
I’d guess that performance was the reason, whilst they’re now giving approvals to antigen tests, they’re still measuring them directly against PCR. The U.K. govt is a lot more forward (Michael Mina) thinking in placing the importance on the infectious period. In other words, the U.K. are interested in a tool to help break transmission chains which is what is needed, rather than a pure diagnostic.
Agree Ben - the FDA are repeatedly confirming in their weekly virtual town hall events that rapid at home antigen tests are a priority, so I’m assuming they had issue with the Sona sample collection method. Either that or they thought the sensitivity too low, something Which I think caused consternation with Sona investors who felt the declared sensitivity didn’t accurately reflect sensitivity in the “infectious” period.
To anyone complaining the company are taking too long to perfect the product:
The 65% drop in the SONA share price is why I am much happier to wait patiently as they meticulously follow the process, than to have them rush it and wipe out the value of my holding.
Three months since tech transfer started today, not long now...
