I admit Artyth that I had to listen to the call several times to detect the NvS transaction comment. An agreement is not a transaction. It's just parties arriving at a consensus. A transaction is specifically to do with buying and selling. PIs might not have noted the change in reference made by NvS. All I know is that he is way too savvy to have made reference to a transaction unless excitement got the better of him which is what I think happened. Ordinarily, he would be tight lipped. Only an actual transaction would have gotten him so excited, and he already know he would be criticised if nothing came out of his involvement with AA when he praised investors for hanging in there. Best of luck all.
Unless
I was surprised it wasn’t made more of , Nick referring to ‘ this transaction’
I wouldn’t have thought having exclusivity for a limited period, could be referred to as a transaction.
Cheers Artyth,
Let's hope that we are not far away from the final outcome. I too noted how excited NvS was. That was out of character for him.
Finally, Teachers Pension Funds are extremely risk averse. We have 1 here which speaks volumes regarding where Arc is going.

I picked up that too.
I think it is reasonable to assume that AA will make a bid. Having previously owned the asset, identified targets that ARC’s drilling has now confirmed and entered into an exclusivity agreement, it would be strange if they didn’t make an offer.
The question is will it be a reasonable offer?
If a bid is received and the board consider it fair, it will go to a shareholder vote. These things cannot be done overnight so it will take some time to organise.
From a shareholders point of view that is when we want another major to consider the AA offer too low and make a counter bid.
IF we get a bidding war that is the dream ticket, in that scenario Nick’s prediction that this could be very very big, might yet become a reality.
Have no Nerves..we have copper and great management who have skin in the game...their wont be any backhanders here...and remember every day that goes by copper will get more valuable..just fantastic all around

Yes I remember him Cattleman. I'm not about to back out now the prize is just around the corner. For the benefit of my nerves, I would like to see an AA buy out before the 6 months are up!!
Yes been here since the OTC days as well...the important thing here is to ignore any negative posts and have total conviction in your own thinking...make no mistake i have, we have copper which is getting more sought after Month on Month , like land ,they have stopped making it and we have massive quantaties ,the world needs copper and the price is rising , my inspiration here a long time ago was a guy by the name of Chaotic Calmness and make no mistake we all need inspiration Where ever he is now i send my sincere Thanks GLA
7-10 days was mentioned on the call for next drill results. Tomorrow or Tuesday would think if all gone to plan for them.
I think for lth I'd rather we proved up further towards the end of the 6 months to see where we are at. Dont want to be sitting on multi tier 1 plots and selling it too early. Been in here from the otc days and it seems to be many with still high averages. Hopefully they can get most of their money back.

Exit strategy. There is no point in talking about what It should be as everyone will have their own. For me this opportunity if the deal goes ahead doesn't come too often So is worth the risk/reward but it all depends how Much you have in The first place- simply too many variables. I have 400k so not a massive amount so willing to hold as long as I can
NvS began the call by referring to the "Exclusivity Agreement." Further on he said "thats what I'll say on the Anglo-American Transaction." He also praised frustrated investors for hanging in there. To me, there is a world of difference between an agreement and a transaction. The 2 terms don't mean the same thing in business speak. A transaction imply that a sale has already been done, and we are now going through DD after several months of negotiations. Finally, why praise investors for hanging in there if the possibility exist for a no deal?
I fully agree about NVS being fully cautious when sending RNS's....he is very experience guy and one thing he learned in this type of business is it always better to promise less and deliver more than the other way round....let's us hope it is exactly the case here.....the fact AA made a complete U turn now with this exclusivity agreement after ditching Zambia not that long ago is a strong signal of the level of expectation thanks to ARCM good work there....big,big news coming in the near term, and could be transformation for us after waiting long time.
GLA.
Having been invested here for a few years I am used to the cautious language NvS normally uses. However, on this investor call that all changed and he could hardly contain his excitement. Using language like "On the slip road of something very very big" "the opportunities are massive" and "we want to make our shareholders as wealthy as we can"
The exclusivity agreement with Anglo American and the approaches from other interested parties may be the only reason for his very bullish tone but I wonder if the first three holes at Fwiji are looking good as well.
We are still awaiting results back from the analysis but NvS will have seen the samples before they were sent off, hopefully not much longer before we find out.
Assuming Anglo American are going to put forward a business transaction, I wouldn't have thought they would wait till the six months expires at the beginning of January. By December with this years drilling finished and the results back I would expect them to be sounding out NvS to get an idea of what it is going to cost them. That way if their initial offer is turned down they would still have time to negotiate before the January 14th deadline.
All in all a very exciting time to be an ARC shareholder.
