Were as well off Now as we were at IPO. 6p @ 245M shares. Lidsey to keep the lights on and Brockham for future revenue.
Now we have : Lidsey - zero value and Brockham - zero value. (although I believe it is mature needs a second opinion )
Value is in Saltfleetby gas field (i.e Lidsey keep the lights on) and
Balcombe 25% of a Huge field already drilled, replaces Brockham which is in SCC land (who the F;'[k wants to deal with them)
SP 3p @ 540M shares but as we don't have the expense to drill Balcombe. sp =6p. that is where SP should be now.
I think were actually better off than at January 2017 SP 12p with the wrong well sidetracked and all the crap going on with SCC.
Ocelot...
I've been out. In the meantime, RA beat me to it:
Makes sense to assume JTP shorted. And please: give over with the fake surprise... he's been caught red-handed doing this only last year!!!!!
and - as I recall - "that investigation" is still on-going?!?! Only - as usual - PI's haven't had an update, so no line to draw under this as yet!
How many shares did he short?
At what price?
At what price did he buy them back?
Scallywag
I wasn't "ramping the hell out of Angus"-I genuinely and maybe naively believed the statements of the BOD to be true. ..ie what JTP said:-"Brockham flows well" and the repeated rns' that empirically claimed the oil at Brockham had identical maturity to HH,and would be even richer.
Maybe I was a fool for believing the official statements of oil professionals. At the very least it was negligent, but definitely misleading.
I say it as a see it..I neither ramp nor deramp.
LTHS know there isn't a cat in hell''s chance of retrieving their investment if they bought at 8p,20p,12p,15p or more....
They have nothing to lose, and everything to gain in joining this action, which will be settled out of court in just a matter of a few months.
For details of the legal opinion and solicitor who is handling our case,

Nope...people keep repeating the same #fake news.....Angus have enough cash (£5 million, more with Brockham sale) to recompense investors, and it will happen out of court.
Also if individual's are pursued, this will gave no impact on whatsoever on the survival of the company.
Because JTP made money by shorting it at the same time!
But you see the problem YL:
If it is to be claimed that investors have been duped and deceived by the BoD over a prolonged period of time, how to explain that one of those who has suffered the most financially is JTP?
Ocelot,
When it comes to "failure!" JTP is the undisputed King IMHO. Deserves to lose the shirt off his back!
The BOD have sidelined him... but they need to remove the joker from the pack entirely in order to draw a line in the sand for ANGS. If he were booted out for good... even I might be convinced that new BOD sentiment was genuine!
For the SP to truly recover, we need faith to be "fully" restored and that needs a healthy dose of integrity and transparency... the two attributes which have been sadly missing from this company in recent years.
YL states:
Clearly LTH's have been deceived and lost a lot of money here... if court action is the only way to get this BOD to hold their hands up...
But one of the principal losers financially has been JTP.
Is it claimed that JTP has been deceived by the BoD?
What will they be sued for, failing to find commercial oil?
It seems some people don't understand the risks of oil exploration & think it will always work out, this is a false reality, welcome to the real world.
If Angs lose the law suit.....then they are finished..kaput and LTH are the losers....think about it.
Wonder how many people would like to sue RealAnalyst ,.He was ramping the hell out of Anguss and encouraging people to buy.
It's never going to happen anyway, As soon as the legal team start putting their hands out for more money, saying we are just a little short of funds. I'd hope most will see it for what it is another scam. as it won't stop. it will be a little more and a little more, like averaging down. LOL. until your so far in you think, Damn!!!.. done again.
Never met the man in my life - I don't move in those circles! Lol
Fascinating reading this BB.
Just wondering why there are so many folk here who do not want RealAnalyst to sue?
I don't suppose Lucan's chums have signed up here on LSE to discourage such action????
Can't really see the issue otherwise... if you want to join... FINE... if you don't, then what is the problem if others do?
Clearly LTH's have been deceived and lost a lot of money here... if court action is the only way to get this BOD to hold their hands up... then it's all good as far as I can see. Regardless... at least the truth will out!
RA - you say you have nothing to lose by joining a lawsuit against Angus. But if you sue and lose (a very realistic possibility) you will have to pay both your own and the defendants' legal costs, won't you?
RealAnalyst.....how much oil MATD is producing .infact all of their drilling came out of duster .as you are saying no oil production until 2020.....that means we do have oil....what i think this is the real bargain basement just buy and hold don,t forget we are playing with AIM ......
third party funding is being provided. ? ? ? ? ? ? please disclose.
Sage man
Not a particularly sage comment.Anyone who thinks this will climb back up to 8p or 10p is delusional. ..no oil production until 2020,by which time multiple placings will have diluted the share price even more. That's a fact.
As I keep repeating, individual investors pay NOTHING as third party funding is being provided.
Investors have been royally screwed over here, and without even affecting the company, individual directors can be made to recompense investors.
Stop spreading the delusional myth that Angus has no money!!!-it's utter nonsense .. £2.5 million in from sale of an asset, and more when Brockham is sold.
We have the opinion of a barrister who is a financial expert, and the partner in a firm of city solicitors that this is a viable case.In any event,in 95% of cases, there is an out of court settlement (with no disclosure &no liability clauses obviously).
Don't be a doormat and let your money be stolen through lies and false promises.
keither197@gmail.com
The BOD are showing leadership and are backing themselves to deliver. Absolute waste of time pursuing the BOD through the courts. Brockham is history now and even if things had gone to plan there was no guarantee that production was sustainable. GL to all those who have held and are looking for a recovery.
Agreed its at its lowest.. like your strategy...
Realanalyst you are a delusional. The only person who will make money is your barrister! This company has very little money and by the time your case goes through it will all have been spent on exploration or if you have your way paying lawyers. Petro Matad was worth 2p earlier this year and now circa 8p and hopefully much more by the end of August. I bought a million to trade at 1.45 and sold them on recent spike at nearly 2. I will use the proceeds to buy again if we fall towards 1. BE currently 6. When I buy back in it was fall significantly. Sell trade, rinse repeat. Take control and responsibility for my own actions. Far better strategy than enriching the legal profession!
Think YOU'RE ... (!).
"Even with all the massive director buys,it didn't even reach 2p".
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Think your the first person to call them "massive", RealAnalyst.
In truth, the price did reach and exceed 2p, but didn't hold and came back below 2p.
Agree mannan, Anyone who is down 90% ish. Don't think about having to get all your cash back. ( maybe you will) but at this price A good chance to recover it to just 50% - 25% loss. Anyone who has lost so much. May as well go for Broke. All or nothing. Don't listen to the doom merchants in here.
Been a few Trolls in here today, I'm scared to go to bed. Gonna have to sleep with the light on. LOL
big losses you can recover again buying at this price just buy & hold
