The other week when they released the figures they said they would not give any future guidance in the current situation, so the best I feel we can expect from the AGM is they announce they have brought in a major investment(alongside money already raised) and announce two or three highly respected new board members.
Can’t really see Stroll joining the Mercedes team as report suggested, surely he can’t be in two camps, I know for example investors can’t take stakes in two football clubs as it is against the rules and the spirit oF competitive fairness.
I have seen this scenario play out so many times on every single chat room and often wondered what people get out of being negative about a share unless they can genuinely give an informed opinion why or at least one that they think we haven’t heard before.
We all know that what we say here doesn’t affect the share price so why do it ?
I was always taught that if you have got nothing nice to say say nothing.
TipTree, I know that they are invested. Therefore I know the motivation and they are aware of all the things that have been discussed.
Your motivation was obviously to try to encourage a lower price so you could buy in. I called you out and now you are just trying to come up with excuses.
Just telling it how it is.
Did you plan to ask Markymark3344 and sirow08 or is it just me because I don't happen to agree with you? I've been watching this share since it launched over a year ago, occasionally day trade it too. Beginning to think it wasn't a wise decision to voice an opinion. Sorry.
If your opinion is that it will drop for a particular reason that you have knowledge of please let us know because I for one would like to know.
Actually no I don’t think what we say makes any difference to the SP but it can effect other people on this site.
I would not say the price can’t drop to under 50p I am just questioning your motivation for saying it.
Cracks me up.
OK, next week SP will go 55,57,60. Better for you now?
Do you really think that what any of us say on this BB will make the least difference to the SP? Chat again Wednesday evening perhaps.
TipTree they have made a commitment to move to on demand production rather than flooding the dealers with cars so your (negative) point has been discussed by the team already.
The focus is on maintaining high margins and not pushing production for the sake of it.
I am happy for productive discussion regarding share price, positive or negative but yours was an obviously troll to try to get a lower entry so you can make money on the rise.
That I don’t agree with as sometimes people listen to these opinions and lose money. If you substantiate your claim and give reasons for the drop in price based on new information you have please share.
How would you know? I day trade this one and don't feel any great emotion to the brand. I suspect the build quality will be vastly improved now and I think the DBX will be a much needed relative success. However: if it's emotive commentary you want, how about the DB11, launched at circa £175,000, selling for £70,000 after three years. The car is mostly irrelevant here as you know, it's about brand value.
You could have just said yes I sold and want back in. Don’t try and hide.
Just giving a considered answer to a reasonable question. Too early? I don't know yet.
Tip tree I guess you sold your stock to early last week.
I think we are likely to see over 60p before the AGM as people will want to be onboard if the message is positive and order numbers for the DBX are strong.
If any debt restructuring and good news on DBX and Valkyrie is announced then the price will fly.
The danger is lower order numbers due to cancellations or plans for additional fund raising.
I think the board will want to put a positive message out so I feel we will see a nice rise this week.
My opinion and the downside listed above is still possible. The current price is still very low representing this risk so still Risk reward proposition on this one.
50. 48.46.
Deos
I think there will be a retrace Monday and Tuesday, but Wednesday-Thursday it will try for 58p
The message from the AGM has to be seen as critical, so agree Marky 60p early in the week but nearer £1 if the bod deliver a message to give all investors a message that they can and are already starting to get it right. Maybe the new appointee has been invited to say a few words. The media will likely be out in force and many will want to paint a good news story when there is little to write up elsewhere that's not Covid related. JJ
