There are graphite companies in aim who have done next step studies already so you can do some comparisons and work out what the alba sp could reasonably adjust to. Have that value in mind for the future.
We need to understand and execute the drill program ASAP this is lining up to be a great resource
The train might not be leaving within the next few mins BUT the boilers are being stoked as we speak choo chooo sorry :-)
It's comforting to see that an independent expert's estimate of our graphite potential is 5-10x more than previous figures. Just need the summer drilling campaign to go without any setbacks, covid or otherwise. That being so, we could be in for a nice re-rate by year end, especially if we also get a JORC for TBS with uprated figures for the sub permafrost and sub sea areas.
Superb RNS. let the drilling begin... get this JORC 'D asap then watch the interest..
Note: until this morning's RNS, I hadn't appreciated Kalaaq is estimated to be larger than Amitsoq, Kalaaq being Alba's own discovery.
Yes, elir71, a very encouraging RNS!
Reminder: First Equity's research note of 15/06/20 cited estimates from a report of 1916, as follows:
Bernard and Strache in 1916 estimated a resource of 200,000 to 495,000 tonnes at
an average grade of 20% graphite based upon surface and underground mapping
and trenching work, although this is unlikely to be based upon any drill core results.
Greenland, Antarctica and Siberia are the last one unexcavated places on this planet. This is a race for resources that Alba is getting right. We just need to see the drilling program results. Then it will be down to a willing partner(s) who will invest in the production in order to get an exclusive or privileged access at a very discounted price to high quality product. Same thing China did to KAZ.
@ocelot, that income stream potential is massive. Its a huge shift in fundamental value.
I have just added, couldn't believe my eyes that i could buy at 0.306 after this mornings news.
@ newluner this translates to **** loads
The Amitsoq Graphite Project in southern Greenland comprises a past producing mine and two exceptional graphite deposits, with average grades surpassing any other graphite project in the world.
At Thule Black Sands in northern Greenland, Alba has drilled the length and breadth of a section of coastline which had never before been explored in earnest, resulting in high-grade mineral sands being confirmed over a 10 km stretch, a resource already sufficient to sustain a more than 10-year mine life at a mining rate of 1.5 million tonnes per annum.
on the job description look at the dates and it give an indication of start dates for the drilling, this is positive news
Duration/Start dates:
- 11 June 2021 – 23 July 2021 (Amitsoq)
- 13 July 2021 – 18 August 2021 (Thule Black Sands)
So if I read it right, they've found 10 times more graphite than was quoted in the Research Note, and it's higher quality?
Right then, I'm a happy chappy!!

Alba seeking a Drilling Assistant.
“The first aim of our drilling programme will be to declare a maiden JORC-compliant
Mineral Resource Estimate at the Amitsoq deposit, where our test work programme
has not only confirmed that our graphite has exceptionally high average grades but
also that it is battery grade material which can be sold into the electric vehicle sector,
which is by far the largest growth market for graphite.”
Hopefully they can keep the SP above .30p now.
I'm still way down on this, but at least it's now looking in the right direction.
GF has fudge up the Gold aspect so far, hopefully he won't do the same with Greenland.

the ducks are lining up for alba

Brilliant News back to the Friday rise's Gla.
not long before the de-rampers start to profess to know more than Dr Arthur who is a Chartered Geologist and
qualifies as a Competent Person/Qualified Person (as defined by CRIRSCO and the
majority of National Reporting Organisations).
i know exactly who i would prefer to listen to

Excellent conceptual estimates - hopefully the drilling and the JORC will prove something similar or better.
Now on to the mobilisation plan as it is mobilisation that will move the SP.
