Think it’s take over time by Ara and I expect a low bid not more than 2 p
I was just saying more likely and would be preferable if possible and certainly more possible than announcing the farm-out completion on the same day as the AGM. That’s not going to happen.
No idea edgar, could be related to Ruvuma or as you say one of the other options.
Thank you. Interesting. Ara to take over their licence?! Farmout to Ara? Helium? Go on. Have a guess!
SOLO's PR company via email to Big double on Tuesday.
"Thanks for your email. Your timing is impeccable as the Company is presently working up an update for the market."
Thanks cperkin. Am not aware of pending Solo news, where is that from?
Details yes OG and BG but the news of discussion with Eclipse was in late March - from memory....
Anyway gents I must dash - yet another bloody Zoom meeting beckons!
Matherdj - if they had any common sense and control of those dates I would agree but I am not too sure that they are sufficiently in control of events to stage manage that. We have to have had an AGM within a certain time frame and that may not conveniently coincide with the timings of the Farm-Out completion.
And OG they closed the day at just over 2.0p from memory.... :0(
Indeed they did, I was in a meeting with the solo board when the RNS was released and then went onto the AGM where Crusty gave the BOD a verbal dressing down (to say the least)
Interesting that SOLO's PR have informed us all of pending news and are preparing an update, I wonder if it's related?
yes they did matherdj, just been looking,

Pete....yes, the share price rose to 3.4p ish on the announcement at which point Tiptop bailed out and I believe you sold a high percentage of your shares. I also sold 10% of my holdings. Wish I had sold more now. Hindsight.
I think the only time they released any significant news at a AGM was results of the KN-1 well test 04 June 2008 and a lot that were attending expressed their unhappiness with it as they felt they were not able to trade ot take advantage of the news.

Crusty, the details of the farmout were released on the day of the meeting which was the important information for shareholders. Personally I think it’s more likely they’ll announce the date of the AGM on the same day as they announce the farm-out completion. New start (attempt).
Apologies for approval read announcement.
Oh and just as a reminder OG that "big news" was SO good that the share price collapsed post approval...
We could do without another debacle along those lines.
No OG they did not.... they held an AGM at which the Farm-Out was approved but the Farm-Out itself had been flagged months in advance of the AGM.
Max-Power....you could be right, without checking my facts, didn’t Aminex announce the Farm Out (big news) at an AGM? I’m sure that the terms of the deal must have been completed a few days before OR was it just a coincidence the terms were completed the day before the AGM?
"they need to get everyone over here and back... from Oman."
yes MAX, I guess now the Gov has announced the 14 day quarantine plans for those arriving in the UK, Aminex can now decide how to hold the AGM and suppose it will be some kind of a virtual meeting.
You make a good case MAX but of that were to be true, how can they be sure that there will be "big news" on the eventual, as yet unknown, AGM date? If the news is "big" and therefore "material" they are not allowed to withhold it to a date of their choosing; they have to release it to the market as soon as they are aware of it.
So are the TPDC, APT or Tanzanian Govt holding back news just to allow AEX to release it on the AGM date? I seriously doubt it.
As a shareholder I would rather that they simply kept the market up to date with developments as they occur rather than (as you are suggesting) withholding it for better effect at the AGM.
Do you mean "au naturel" Frank?
So just in case you cannot read Frank - I do not take pills. Have you got it yet? I realise that you have to be told things several times before the meaning sinks in but I thought even you might understand that on first reading. Evidently not.
You just keep on "spitting hairs" Frank.
Hey CP, I think the issue with the AGM is down to flight issues... they need to get everyone over here and back... from Oman. With the current Covid19 issue they not in a position to put an exact date, in addition anyone coming over may have to go into quarentine for 14 days... - to many complications! I personally hope we get news! I am expecting an RNS next week to confirm completion of the farm out... let see?
I`m all Oh Natural Crusty, but keep taking them tho !!!
Maybe BG but it would still be reliant on a License extension and/or work programme approval if Nyuni / Kiliwani and Farm-Out approval if Ntorya and so again without either or both of these not "material" in my view...
Oh and Frank I am not the one on the pills and if you are not on the Prosac you really need to cut down on the e-numbers...
such a cheery chappy that man, keep taking the pills !!!!
what about a (memorandum of understanding) regarding a production deal/strategic partnering, the timing of which might well be under their control ?
