Morning Lefkosia, Thank you for your links, I do use basic candle sticks signals but this looks very interesting. I do use Ichimoku on a daily basis and find that it is an excellent trading tool. I look forward to hearing more.

Hi Lefkosia - thanks for this thread. It's really interesting and if this method, to quote your mentor, takes the emotion out of trading it's just what I need!
Wondered what your thoughts on AIM share Starcom (STAR) are? It started and closed above the 8ema. Traded up to the 4.40 mark before closing just under 3.20. They've also had a good RNS today.
What do you reckon?

Good morning dazzle,
as a fellow chartist some of the patterns identified including gaps to be filled are quite frankly mumbo jumbo imho, especially IG's daily forex pairs pattern identifications.
keep it simple, support/resistence especially fibonacci.
3 lagging indicators ema3, 8, 54. ema8 = T LINE so called trigger line for entry/exit
12 major candlestick reversal of trend patterns 6 for going long, 6 for going short
stochastics 12:3:3
to keep charts clutter free and
3 Simple rules to follow
forget volume - tthe recennt rise is on urine ppoor volume but may incrrease when the hherd arrive after seeing the price rise. brom and guzzler like volume but i can illustrate a plethora of examples not just aim but ftse shares too that volume does not drive price , price drives volume.
based on initial spike way back when and longer weekly chart

Lefkosia I have noticed on the jumps today so many fav's loosing out to some high priced horses. I was even considering putting a bet on one of the fav's I bet 14:25 sligo and picking out something higher than 14/1, there were 3 and I picked the 3rd Weightfordave and race was won by 50/1 Sinndar Sandy.
Cannot research a horse like that as has done nothing in it's entire history but like you say just back every horse above 14/1 would of come out with profit. Fav was 4th.
Harry's NAP ran an awful race just did not try in the last 3f
btw peeps if you like a flutter harry barlow is your man, best tipster ever in over 50 years of betting on the gee gees,
regularly tips long priced winners with inside info tyou know 7/1, 10/1 20/1 .

Thanks Lefty. The last Rns says the new placement shares will be admitted to aim on 3rd Feb. It’ll be good to get these churned out, I’d be very surprised if Sophs hold until spud. I’m sure many PI’s will be taking some money of the table before then too. GLTA!

on IG'SS better charting facility which i can no longerr post here sso have to rely on barchaart
thhe only time frames which showed aclose beloiw the ema3 were the 3 hr and lower downe to 1 minute. these are ussedd for day trading so can be ignored for now even tthough price is too far ahead of TThhe TLINE but will monitor the 4hr and daily to see if priccce has stalled at resistance 1.45p
dont forget there are still professional investors from thhe placement still tied up in svc to wash out. i believe their shares are to be ffrreedd to trrade sometime in january but open to correction.
volume still urine poor but who carres a jot
volume consisttts of buyerrs AND asellers so means absolutely nothing exccept big increases indicate herd arrivinng wwith a rising price or paniic selling with a ggap down on bad nnews.
neither present at the mo.
what matters to the vaalue of your investmeent is ppriice action whicch is wwhy charts are used to monitor price's performance.

Lefkisia mate just ring me and I'll transcribe for you. Surely a better option than listening to all these ungrateful sods !
good afternoon spinefxx
vvery good suggestion i do from time to time use word first then spellcheck and copy and paste.
2 drawbacks
1 doesnt correct all still stays no suggestions
2 i use smartbox dwell checker for copy and paste £10 one off cost but the paste does not always work on lse bb due to my lack of dexterity caann ttaake uo to 60 or more right clicks to pull up the menu to hover over paste with the dwell gismo very frustrating but i have a tenacious nature
no problem with word or exccek as i can use the dwiell gismo to hover over the paste icon but lse bb doesnt have that ffacility
maay have to use word first more oftenn bbeccause i lose posts on lse bb before finished becaue of dexterity problems or because some arsen wengers get them deleted. the latter wont happen so often in fu5ture as lse admin and police have been alerted to the skul duggery.

Don't mention the rose hued specticles.
The hordes will report this.
the link i providedd onn the aim ccasino maakees a very good read esspecially the part on bbs reproduced below foorr ease of reference
Online bulletin boards
Bulletin board providers are popular among many private investors – some of whom are incredibly well researched, and some of whom (to put it politely) aren’t. At the lower end of the market, these boards are used to encourage the naïve to buy into a stock. There are many who have multi-IDs who then literally have a conversation with themselves, in an attempt to generate excitement around the stock.
Should anyone post a contrasting opinion – they are called out as a ‘shorter’ or a ‘deramper’ and are the subject of abuse. Worse still, the group encourages everyone to ‘report’ the post in an attempt to have the post automatically deleted. This means that anyone viewing the board will only see one positive narrative because the posts that are automatically deleted are not reviewed by anyone. Those who own the bulletin boards don’t care about the actual content of the posts, because they’re not monetising the boards. What they monetise is the volume of traffic on the site, which they then sell in the form of advertisements and impressions. So, while the bulletin boards are free to use, there is almost no point in using them.
add to shorterr and deramper the word troll
it doesnt take a high ig to identify the posters on this board whho fit the above and to identify those who adopt bully boy tacticcs not only to report but to 'filter' sso contrarian views are not seen.

Heads telling me one thing, the heart another.
Not sure, what to make of it!
My decision was to filter, as I don’t have any interest in charts. GL to those that do.
Like everyone , you are entitled to post whatever you wish. I wish you the best of luck for the future.
But no need for the brown nosing imho.
Hope you great bunch are enjoying the weekend.
Stay positive, patience will be rewarded.
Love this company
Or use hired help such as a secretary. You can obviously afford one as you must have made some good coin resulting from your stand up charts and T liners. All the very best.
Lefty,
I'm sure you are probably a good bloke and mean well, can I add a comment, would it not be easier to make your posts more concise and formulate in a word document and then copy and paste into here? That way you may be able to edit and amend.
Not having a dig but it's hard to get the full gist of what you are trying to relay.
Just an idea
DD ggooood morningg
Have a look at this
recognisse what happens on this bb
small clique of posters onn this bb that have convverrssationns with each other seeming to knnow each otheer you incluudded dedspite only bbeing a membber since 23rd jan 20020. youu know you brom and the unidentifired mysttery cchum you two werre chatting aboutt.
of coouurse its quiite possiblee afftteer tthe varioous globe meetings organisedd byy the now disgracced aberdeenman .
cw accuses me of multiple ids but lse admiin know otheerwise or else i would be banneed unlike aberdeenman, mr selfridge et all.
is it odd you suddenly appear like magic and start having a pop at me seemingly to know brom, who lives in aberdeen, a former poster on this bboard , oh and the other bain in my life cd who apparenttly is living in scotland, maybee just a coincidence.
cw claims he quit in disgust that lse admiinn did not ban me bbut could not come back with his old pseudoname but i seem to recallll the major claimed to knoww brom and gave reasons why brom disappeared for a while moving house internet problems andd broom did quit but came back with same pseudoname. open to correcton if my memory is inaccurate perhaaps the weell resseaccheedd vernon or the major cann correct me if my memory is flawed.
the bottom line iss we should all be helping eacch ottheerr, nno peerssonaal aatttttaacckss orr ssniidde reemaarrkss jjusstt coonsseentraatee oonn 88ee aandd ppeerrhaaps aa feww off topic at tthe weekend but please dont make this bb about me. tliine yes because it is relevannt but please no crass remarks that it is voodoo, mysttic meg etc.. allprofessional innvestoors/instittutions use ta exxcept buffet but then he specializess in ddifferent classes off shares relying onlyy onn fundas but dedspite all his copiouss research still burrnt his fingers with tesco. and he wouldnt touch aim shares with a bargepole.
