How about shares in Thales?
They make the nlaw anti tank missiles.
Yes it all sounds good and its in an uptrend and oil at a premium.. Just need to keep an eye on it
It looks to good to be honest, lets hope it jumps to 35 pound a share like before.
I can see a fourth dividend coming in sept but thats just intuitive guesswork, its making 500 m a year(pounds) at current rate and 20% dividend so far is just 100m.
All above my own calculations which could, easily be wrong dyor etc, obvious political risk etc.
Hi Gs im in on GKP
Thanks Gs ... hang seng a bit too volatile for my liking. Ive traded the Hong Kong 50 a few times and its always a bit hairy
Dominoes will check out in more detail. Currently Its just bounced off the 200 Ma
GKP looks interesting . been around a long time and use to be on the watch list in days gone bye.
There is a lot of chat on the LSE board. I will read through it and see what i can gleam.
Thanks Gs
13.6% dividend to be paid in next 4 months within 2 payments(see gkp news 30th March)
Check out gkp as well, dividends and max graph.
You mentioned bottom part of upward channel previously, check out 3 year graph for dominoes pizza, due to go final ex on Thursday for about 1.75%.
Also consider the hang seng index as a tracker, look at 10 year graph.
Yes ok i understand and god luck with the top up..... Its looking more positive now that Permian have taken a stake. Hopefully next week the accounts will be out and all will be well... Not much to report from me everything is looking a bit flat... Lets see what next week brings GL all
Topped up at 318p
Yep just to clarify when i sold 25% that was 25% of the 4% that reduced to a 3% stake before readding at the lower price which effectively took me to about 110% of original share number.
HI Gs well done for negotiating the S4 drop in a positive manner.
With some good fortune you will be quids in when it gets sorted out .
Ive bought into HSBC today. Its up-trending and with int rates going up, hopefully it will give me a decent return
I’m in for about 4%,sold 25% yesterday to buy something else price crashed so sold something else and re bought which added 10% of shares to original holding.
At the % I’m in happy to stay put and watch to see what happens.
Hi GS FSV ok i get it .. Im still mulling things over. What happened to Sfor today are you in it? .
If so the drop looks massively overdone, should recover
Fsv-fidelity special value
Nothing guarenteed but coca cola could well do a fast recovery and regain 50% within a couple of months, greggs I like at current price and have gone into both within last 7 days, sfor as well.
Hi Gs yes 20 companies is a lot to manage. I've only got 4 at the moment ( and cash)
Sfor on the move and I am still watching it. TW and PSN yep they are cheap... still undecided on house builders.
Im inclined to PSN but ten months ago it was at £32.60 and now its at 20.90 so with just 100 shares you would be £1170 down now.. Can you find me any shares in a uptrend please? ........ PS what is FSV ?
Keep your eyes on sfor 470p climbing nicely and full year results on Thursday.
Im in on a now fully diversified portfolio around 20 companies, currently going well around 4% portfolio yield and much better than fsv imo lol.
Persimmon and taylor wimpy look cheap, latter goes final ex in three days.
Hi GS Greggs took a hit today for unknown reasons. having jittery fingers ill watch it from the sidelines for a while.
I sold my DEC shares today for 4% nett profit after costs .. Again jittery fingers so happy with that.
I've had three successful Dec trades this year with an aggregated profit of approx 15% and one divi payment ( hopefully makes up for some of my bad trades !
Thanks GS
Took a look at duke, couldn't see any issues, seems to be on the up.
Hi Gs yes agree re Greggs. I will look for a good entry point
Matt/ GS ..take a look at DUKE.... Duke Royalty been in since 2019 pays a 6% yield ( quarterly)
Hi Matt yes agree re all financial stuff on EPIC
....yep 15% drop since war.... my thinking being that's nominal compared to many stocks that have fallen off a cliff with no signs of recovery...Plus Epic trading above the 200 MA which still technically keeps it in an uptrend...
. Had a good day today long on Brent and oil. .
..Gs will re look at Greggs.....as you will both recall it hit my stop last time but fortunately i am not affected with
loss bias syndrome. Gl all
Hi Opt - yep, I hold a lot of REITs including Ediston. I'm broadly breakeven on my total holding now from a capital perspective, but made over 20% on divvys. Currently on a 13% discount to NAV, and should benefit from inflation raising rental income in the medium term. It is down about 15% since Russia invaded though so not quite sure about your final comment?
Greggs is a cracking buy at present, check out 6 & 12 month graphs.
