Since reaching their year high, Nel have received a never ending string of orders, while the SP has more than halved in value. Nel clearly have an offer that meets the needs of the market, which is the key to success for any business.
NEL HYDROGEN VOLVO HITACHI OVAKO Steel production using NEL Hydrogen electrolysers.
Great project with great partners @nelhydrogen @OvakoGroup @VolvoGroup @HitachiGlobal @H2GreenSteel
Another great post. The techradar report from wood Mckenzie makes interesting reading. I think their point is well made- supply of green h2 accelerating. NEL and other electrolyser manufacturers clear beneficiaries. In parallel demand side needs to accelerate. I’m not sure if the evidence on that front is quite as clear yet but some very positive sign eg. JCBs commitment in heavy engineering. NELs deal you posted today very positive too. No clear direction yet for bus companies. Rail and marine still in relatively early stages. I have to say friends of the Earth’s comments on the whitelee green hydrogen project in Glasgow deeply unhelpful. They should 100% support greening of energy supply. Markets and engineers will decide how best it should be deployed.
Nice one Major.
Great work Majoroak getting important news like this on the board. Price up 8% since you posted!
NEL HYDROGEN - PORT LOS ANGELES with TENARIS.
Where are Tenaris based, where are the hubs they want to create and where is the fuelling station supply coming from for truck refuelling ?
Now join those dots.
NEL HYDROGEN have such big deals of supply with SIGNIFICANT US & CANADIAN customers to be involved in the much larger business of HYDROGEN ELECTROLYSIS TO SUPPLY AND STORE ACROSS THE US IN TOTAL & CANADA !!!!
Please do your own research and join those dots.
HEROYA HYDROGEN FACTORY IS NOW OPEN !!!
Watch what happens now ...
NEL HYDROGEN - NIKOLA hint at Tonnage to be made via US AND CANADIAN new Hydrogen HUB-SSS
Nel hydrogen refuelling station (H2station™) opened in the Netherlands, at the Shell station in Amsterdam-Westpoort.
I reposted this as todays Everfuel hydrogen fuelling station specialist will release its Q3 results and forward intentions.
NEL HYDROGEN & YARA INTERNATIONAL should be installed ie electrolyser produced by early to mid 2022 fitted by year end.
"We’re excited to formally launch the partnership with Nel and work towards developing green ammonia and low carbon fertilizer. Yara’s mission is to responsibly feed the world and protect the planet. We have already removed about half of our direct GHG emissions in the past few decades, and we’re working towards carbon neutrality by 2050. Producing fertilizer with carbon free hydrogen will be a very important step towards that goal”, says Tove Andersen, EVP Production in Yara.
Initially, a team of Yara experts pondered how they could produce fertilizer using only air, water, sun, wind and rocks. The answer would have to be a sustainable, energy effective and commercially viable solution. Interestingly, the way forward was found by looking back into Yara’s history.
The electrolyzer, nearly a century old technology that was made uncompetitive by the low cost of fossil energy, would be brought back into play. An electrolyzer produces hydrogen from water using electricity and Nel is developing their next generation electrolyzer where the prototype will be tested at Porsgrunn. The capacity of the electrolyzer will be 5 MW corresponding to 1% of the hydrogen production in Porsgrunn. It is expected to be installed in 2022.
“We are very pleased with the partnership with Nel. Our ammonia plant will make the first small step towards carbon free fertilizer production. When further developed, Yara Porsgrunn will be in a unique position also due to the low carbon footprint from our nitric acid plants”, says Jon Sletten, Plant manager in Porsgrunn.
This agreement is part of the project portfolio that BU Decarbonize is working on, alongside the Engie project. The goal is to ensure Yara will be the market shaper for green ammonia and low carbon fertilizer production. "

NEL HYDROGEN - Sanyo Special Steel and part of the Nippon Steel Corporation Group. The company has geographical presence in Europe, North America and Asia, and a steel product line that includes niche products and customized solutions. The carbon footprint of Ovako’s steel products is a full 80 percent lower than the global average.
Volvo Group, Hitachi Energy, H2 Green Steel and Nel Hydrogen with the purpose to invest in fossil-free hydrogen in Hofors. An investment that also got the support from the Swedish Energy Agency. We are now very pleased to have reached this important milestone of the project. The electrolyser technology will enable us to eliminate CO2 for heating steel before rolling”, says Rickard Qvarfort, President Business unit Hofors.
NEL HYDROGEN 20MW ORDER.
This one is an IMPORTANT ONE = BULK !!!
I have and will keep drilling it out there that BULK supply to NUCLEAR , STEEL , SHIPPING , LORRIES and AMMONIA PLANTS are THE DEALS NEL Hydrogen will get and that IS where the big money is !
"Nel ASA: Receives purchase order for 20MW alkaline electrolyser from Ovako
(Oslo, 25 November 2021) Nel Hydrogen Electrolyser AS, a division of Nel ASA (Nel, OSE: NEL), has received a purchase order for a 20MW alkaline water electrolyser from Ovako, a leading European manufacturer of engineering steel. The electrolyser will be installed at Ovako’s existing plant in Hofors, Sweden, the first plant in the world to use hydrogen to heat steel prior to rolling and hot forming. The fossil-free hydrogen will replace the use of fossil propane gas currently used in heating furnaces at the site.
"We are very excited to announce the delivery of electrolyser equipment to Ovako, and this groundbreaking project. There is huge potential in reducing CO2-emissions from steel-heating processes through the use of green hydrogen, there are numerous similar sites with equally large potential for decarbonization across Europe and the rest of the world. We look forward to working with Ovako and its partners to further develop fossil-free steel production in all the sites where this will be relevant” says Jon André Løkke, CEO at Nel.
Nel has received a purchase order for a 20MW alkaline electrolyser system from Ovako, a leading European manufacturer of engineering steel. The purchase order has a contract value of approximately EUR 11 million and the equipment is expected to be delivered at the end of 2022, with the first hydrogen production in 2023. The electrolyser will produce oxygen and hydrogen to be used in Ovako’s steel-heating process and is a major step towards zero-carbon emission steel production The conversion to hydrogen will enable Ovako to reduce its CO2 emissions for steel production in Hofors by 50 percent from already low levels"
They’re up and down but I’m “up” on all.. waiting for the prediction of BTC being 100k by end of year but more likely jan/ feb. If that Happens I’ll be out on most and back the cash.. ironic really as “BTC is the future ;-). “.
Will be keeping Argo.
As for China they banned it months ago, but IMO, it’s all about control. Governments don’t like not being in control. Once they can tax it maybe ? China wanted their own crypto so I seem to remember!
Don’t know about India.
I like ARGOs plan- got to place where there’s too much electricity- W Texas- agree a ridiculously cheap price and use it while it’s “spare”. When there’s high demand, they sell it back to the grid ( by not using it)
All about retirement for me
NEL HYDROGEN - EVERFUEL Hydrogen Fuelling Station & picture of the Toyotas using it ;-)
OT - tyson hope your crypto's ok ? Just seen about Indian and hadn't even registered about china already banning most ?
I totally agree.. just seems like a load of FUD from ppl and Cos who have a lot to lose, unlike SLI, E3 etc
Every possibility of my buying a few more.
Liking CUSN recently…
PS we are in the nano era now , check out DCTA and what kind of filters they can make now only in the last 2 years.
History is that. We are now looking at new tech DLE and the time is now to use those new materials.
Tyson , 8-13 trading days for E3. With a fair result my estimate is US$4.50-5.00 testing year highs. Hardly any shares and initial surge, then raising of cash from the surge. 75% +/- 10% imho.
Hope so anyway.
Standard lithium have laxness. Its all a load of cobblers that brines cannot provide lithium ions at low cost to mining.
There are at least 10 companies going for brines. Livent have already done a form of it.
DLE is specific to each geological setting.
60 years of well aquifer data and one of the biggest new chemicals companies in the world cannot figure out how to seperate lithium ? No chance.
All will be good.
Nice one MO
Unfortunately I bought moreE3 about 3 days ago about 2.8. Nevermind if it’s as good as it can be .. it really won’t matter.
See SLI struggling a little after their battering end of last week. Onwards and upwards..
Just bought £11,000 tyson E3. Remember the video i posted about 2 weeks ago ? That was 2 weeks old.
News on pilot to demo within 1-2 weeks so bought the drop. From my research I feel confident the project will move forward.
A good solid rns judging by the way they are in investors faces with promo. Not my style but getting the word out is what they are good at + support from Alberta Gov.
NEL HYDROGEN - EVERFUEL electrolyser supplier see deal completed for 100 Toyota Mirai taxis release.
"Everfuel and Cabonline cooperates on developing Nordic market for hydrogen-fueled taxis Herning, Denmark, 19 May 2021 – Everfuel A/S is pleased to announce a cooperation agreement with Cabonline, the largest taxi operator in the Nordic region, for developing the market for taxis fueled by green hydrogen for zero emission mobility. The parties have entered into a collaboration with Toyota Norge for the supply of initially up to 100 Toyota Mirai hydrogen taxis to the Oslo-region. Cabonline will provide its taxi license holders with incentives to use hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and the license holders who take part in this roll-out will benefit from discounted prices for hydrogen fuel at Everfuel’s stations. Everfuel and Cabonline, has as a part of the project, engaged with Toyota, which will offer the new hydrogen fueled Toyota Mirai to taxi license holders, initially in Oslo and then in the larger Norwegian cities as Everfuel’s hydrogen station network is established. Cabonline’s ambition is to introduce several hundred hydrogen taxis throughout the Nordic region in the coming years. Toyota, one of the world’s largest mobility groups and a leader within fuel-cell and hydrogen cars production, has started preparations for rolling-out the initial up to 100 Toyota Mirai in Oslo by the end of 2022 and then planning to further increase the number of Mirai taxis together with Everfuel and Cabonline’s Norwegian unit Norgestaxi. Everfuel and Cabonline plans to leverage the same cooperation model to expand into the larger cities in the Nordic countries. “Long-term partnerships are a key enabler for scaling green hydrogen as the clean fuel of choice for transport. This cooperation between Cabonline, Toyota and Everfuel is a great example of how connecting the entire hydrogen value chain from safe production, distribution and fueling with vehicle providers and end-users enables roll-out of solutions for commercializing green hydrogen fuel and decarbonizing transport at scale,” says Jacob Krogsgaard, CEO and founder of Everfuel. "We have a clear ambition of delivering the first 100 cars to the taxi market in Oslo by the end of 2022 within the framework of this collaboration. For Toyota, this is part of an international strategy to build the hydrogen market," says Espen Olsen, General Manager PR at Toyota Norway. "
