HSBC is one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world. It has around 89 million customers throughout its four global businesses. It consists of 7,200 offices in over 80 countries. HSBC first opened for business in Hong Kong in 1865.
Apologise for the typo error. Please read as HSBC instead of HSBS.
Almost every day HSBS' SP goes down for no apparent reason. This trend started even before Standard Chartered issued profit warning. HSBS is a good bank in all respect, good dividend and renowned as world bank. What could be the reason? Are shorters back in the game? Anybody knows the reason?
The reindeer is one with red cheeks at the moment but let's hope it gets up the hill.
I know I have mentioned the term Santa rally several times. Santa comes on the 25th, although technically, the rally starts on the 25th to the New Year. Something to do with investing all those Christmas bonuses in light volumes whilst were all away on holiday. This may go lower yet as the market falls (and the dollar) so until then, our smiles (or scowls) might not be as bright. We will find out on the 31st. Good luck all and remember the fiz being removed from the market can be a good time to find a bargain or two. Things always look better when the SP is north of what you paid but you cant always time a low.
I know you have just got back in a week earlier. I am sure you are also in red now just like me. Hope you won't be locked in for a long period of time. Yes, there seem to be some kind of disturbing nature here and there that is preventing this share to go any higher. May be we can forget about this year's Santa Rally and look forward to a better time in 2014. Anyway, good luck to your investment here, onwards and upwards! Oh yes, and good morning to you too.

RE: Looks like that..
I have not held this share for about 15 years and the several times I held it before then it also provided a nice divi and a capital gain. A few political disputes in the East China Sea probably isn't helping much at the moment.
