Some traders/private investors follow Director deals, whether it is buying or selling. so maybe this partly explains the recent drop Some people who saw this may have sold. Nice to see it up again today though. Also, (as we all might), Directors sometimes sell because they are taking profits or need the money!
'pounds'

and this year too.. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/dea-marijuana-reschedule_us_5704567de4b0537661881644
Here's the offending article . . . :This month, GW announced its cannabis-based medicine Epidiolex had successfully treated children with a rare form of epilepsy. Its share price doubled as a result. Medical cannabis is developing fast. Patients can smoke marijuana cigarettes, use inhalers, ingest oil extracts or even consume cookies containing marijuana extracts. GW has a multiple sclerosis treatment which is sprayed under the tongue. PAIN RELIEF In a clinic in Tel Aviv, 65-year-old Noa lights a joint. She suffers from fibromyalgia, a chronic pain disorder, and explains how six months of smoking medical cannabis has transformed her life. "I can function again. Most importantly, I'm a grandma, I can roll around on the floor with the kids," she said as she discussed with a nurse what strain would best alleviate her symptoms. The clinic belongs to Tikum Olam, Israel's largest medical marijuana supplier, which partnered this year with a private U.S. investment group to grow medical marijuana in four U.S. states. Ok she's obviously confused or something . . . .
... reported an open short of 0.71% adding to those by Oxford and Partner Fund according to today's FCA update. That highly negative 'report' over the Easter weekend in combination with the short selling yesterday has all the hallmarks of a more co-ordinated short attack than those previously opened on GWP. We'll see over the next few weeks I guess. All IMO of course.
Ok Bob, she's got back to me with this : Joann Clark This I posted for the guy who asked about growing in USA, this mentions it. It says 4 states. The pic I posted that talks about gw and israel, article on fidelity site. Sure it's elsewhere. Joann Clark . . . . Tbh I don't know wtf she's on about ! She's sent a pic but no link . . .I'll try to send the pic a little later . . it's only text and doesn't appear to substantiate this 'rumor' Joann Clark The pic I posted that talks about gw and israel, article on fidelity site. Sure it's elsewhere. So tbh mate I dunno WTF she'so on about
cheers stevie, looks like they are way off the mark then, so one can assume the same will be true for epidiolex imo, 1 billion seems pretty high based on the low patient population at the mo, GW need to expand into less serious conditions that could have much larger PP's to really bring in the revenue... good luck all!
Forecasts: Increasing MS spasticity projections Our updated model reintroduces German Sativex sales projections (removed in April pending pricing resolution) and includes new US forecasts for Sativex in MS spasticity. While FY13 estimates are unchanged, our FY14 revenues rise to £23.6m (prior £23.0m) and pre-tax loss increases to £6.6m (prior £5.3m). Inclusion of Germany increases peak (ex-US) sales in MS spasticity by £12.5m to £63.8m. In the US, we see an FY18 launch and in-market sales of £110m by FY22.
Maybe the news article above could have been seen as competition. http://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-israel-cannabis-idUKKCN0WV1K1
when GW are saying a market worth 1 billion, i think they could be talking about 2020+, does anyone here know what the projected earnings for sativex were before it was first put on the market?
