agree with you KORG, when he was challenged he was very explosive and seemed to be on a mission? would not think he is holding now, everything I dislike about AIM, really have to have wits about one when investing in the likes of these companies.
Wasn't the last placing at 6.5p? if so why the big discount. There should be an explanation as to why they are greasing someones pocket at the expense of others.
Open Offer Subject to the successful completion of the Bookbuild the Company intends to launch an Open Offer to raise up to £0.25 million at the Placing Price. If the Bookbuild does not conclude for any reason the Open Offer will not proceed. If the Open Offer does proceed the ex-entitlement date for the Open Offer will be 22 January 2016 and therefore any investor acquiring shares after this date will not be entitled to participate in the Open Offer. The basis of the Open Offer, should it proceed, would be 1 Open Offer Share for every 10 Existing Ordinary Shares. If the Open Offer does proceed then the proposed timetable for the Open Offer can be found at Appendix III of this announcement. Guessing its at the same price as insitutions....
buyers thinking that 7 or 8p is a bargain should really sit down and do some research, placing at 4.2p means that finance was raised at that level so why would anyone think the company is valued at anymore, more importantly your buying could be feeding those offloading early any of the shares they have pricked up really cheap, this placing in my view is at an immense discount to present sp and to think how high the sp went recently, some genuine investors are probably suffering some heavy losses with no option than to hold for the future, very annoying to see this happen.
What the hell!
Wheres the guy that was pumping this now? Did he work for someone? Shocking. "ooh lets all buy the bullshoit buy and build" pinn will overpay 2-3p
Raised £5 mill at 4.2p made a loss for the year but has a Market cap of £15 mill You could not make this up. So it's valued over 100% above NAV. This will be one of the first to crash and burn when the markets turmoil rears it's head again.
Wonder if the board will use the tea app to do the placement and give us shareholders the chance to participate on same terms as II's??? 4.2p FfS
Amazing that people are now paying 9p after a placing decimating shareholders at 4.2p was announced? Some people just have more money than sense. Even the results that are out today are a complete red flag and clearly state it's one to avoid.
share price went to 18p but there was no need to make the placing so low. They have lost the trust of retail investors and anyone buying this will be giving existing holders an outlet to save some cash. 3p all over it as sentiment has been crushed.
This will end up at 3p by the end of next week and with markets in turmoil it could drop even lower. 5p might seem like a bad price now but by this time next week you will have wished you could still have it.
All the 6p stock gone and now down to 5'p
this was on the cards, never expected such a low placing price, maybe sign of the times but still very low for what is being offered, be some time to wait now for a return to highs, that reminds me when a short while ago someone was pushing this company as hard as they could, giving all types of spin about the where the sp would be going, sorry for those buying in so high, still a good investment but alot better at 4.5p like those in on the placing.
down 50% so far and now at 7p another 50% to go from here imo.
Marked down 42% so far and that's before any sells have landed at the floor. A good exit price considering the placing was 150% below yesterdays close.
wed 16:22 pm I was correct. It was very easy to see what was coming. I just didn't think it would be so low at 4.2p If anyone can get your money of the table as fast as you can and hope nobody has woke up to this daylight robbery.
Proposed placing to raise approximately £4.55 million of up to 108,392,857new ordinary shares of 1 penny each ("Placing Shares") at a price of 4.2 pence per share (the "Placing Price") with new and existing shareholders I did say at the beginning of the week. Why so low? This is going to smash 3p today.
I agree that we private investors have really no idea about what may or may not be happening re Pinnacle. However, with the markets down today by some tune it makes you feel that there is something positive happening with the company as the shares have gone UP big time. Two reasonably big buys today, both over £11,000. Time will reveal all.
just shows we know **** all!!!
Pinnacle is UP 9.4% today when pretty much all other shares are DOWN.. Anybody care to comment?
I have to agree that a placing could be or most probably will be on the cards here.
I think we may well have been correct here as the price action now suggests a placing well below current levels. 6.5p is where funds were raised previously according the accounts so I don't think they would do a placing any lower than that but I find it hard to justify a placing above that level either. Possibly a little higher as that would always be the preference but I don't think it's possible in these market conditions.
I would say that things have changed now and rather than buy at 12p look to see if 12p is breached. If it falls below 12p then it will end up back to the 8p level. They will be needing working capital any day now going on the published accounts. I don't think they will be able to raise working capital at these prices having been under 6p a couple of months ago and also when we are very close to a global market crash which could come any day now.
Chris, no problem. My point was more that 12 looks like being breached already, which I originally treated with incredulity (and if I remember correctly I wasn't the only one). That's why I remembered your post. FYI, I haven't bought back in yet either, so I'm happy I followed your comments rather than mine.
Dh42 - just for clarity I am not intending to buy, no reflection of the company but for me I am only holding investments I feel really confident about at present. I wish you all luck though.
