Ignore him he's a bell end
Is playing crucial role here. Can see this being volatile and dare I say drop a few pence in the process but remember the end goal is the same.
Take no notice....irrelevant anyway
Personally I think it’s utter shite
Does anyone think that this Chris oil chap on twitter has any substance to his claims that some of our Licences will be canceled soon?
volatile, I don't know where this will end up !!
Why on earth would the BOD even consider selling at anywhere close to this stupid share price? Given the assets, balance sheet and production/cash flow why would they want to sell? Ignore the takeover and let this re-rate else shareholders are getting stitched up imo
That’s my call - will land soon I really wouldn’t sit in the shadows here. I also think we could see a bidding war because this won’t happen again next year given their cash flow projections and debt reduction plans.
Something kicking off.
That's the call from me on price that will leave some for the buyer as this will have to be factored in, agree that booth has been put in to sell just like he did at encore energy, and he will have given a heads up on TO level before sitting down with Merci imho
Thanks HeresHopin.
interesting Bertie. T/O can be fractious.
Not so sure on this one..
FPM high was 178p but offer made of 152p BUT offeree trying to backdate that offer price... It's all a curmudgeon...

Thanks Duster. Look forward to the response later.

That's a good point, am off today so I will call the company or or and ask the very question and then reply asap.

Not sure, but is there a takeover rule that offer price cannot be below the highest price paid in the last 12months? In which case 52 week high is 72p. Happy to be corrected here.
what price and when
Good point newkotb. That’s the point, there’s many things that have gone on before they announced the offer publicly. It’s almost certain that ophr has / will be sold. Just a case of what price I guess !!
Munch,
It's point 3 that got me hooked many months ago, all other points fall into place nicely.
The issue I have after watching yesterdays trading, is, imo Medco are still picking up shares, so hostile is still on the cards. I think the board are aware of this and forced Medco to break cover with our RNS ON 31/12 (is proactively evaluating the options available to the Company to maximise value for shareholders for the rest of the portfolio) One point that jumped out at me, other than that line, was the fact this was released outside of 'normal' material licence information RNS, at 10:16, not 7am..... why ?
If I'm correct we will not see an offer for a few weeks, or until the SP has been sufficiently managed to acquire enough shares.
gla
Quoting that 45pps is a "good offer"
.. I am not so sure.
Comments please!

Valid points, specially when you consider 1,2 & 4.

makes a lot of sense. Concern of course is final price.
